Hello! I live in a dog friendly apartment in the Upper East Side that is a 2 minute walk away from Ruppert dog park and 10 minute walk from Carl Schurtz Park! I had a dog of my own for 10 years, so as a trustworthy and reliable pet lover, I am committed to being patient, attentive, and loving toward your pet. I carefully follow instructions to ensure your pet feels comfortable and cared for, treating them as if they were my own! I adapt to your pet’s unique needs and really enjoy building a close connection with them. Whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or a visit to one of the many pet-friendly parks I know, I’ll make sure your pet has a safe and enjoyable experience. Anxhela is incredible. My dog is usually very anxious, but he warmed up to her almost instantly — something that never happens. She kept me updated the entire time and was so communicative and responsive. It’s clear she genuinely loves dogs and has a special ability to connect with them, which gave me so much comfort while I was away. I came home to a spotless apartment, thoughtful touches, and even a sweet card. She truly went above and beyond and I can't recommend her enough.
Anxhela took great care of our dog Pepper! She consistently communicated updates during his stay and sent lots of photos. Would highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Anxhela enough! When my previous sitter fell through just a few days before a trip, Anxhela was flexible enough to take on a last-minute booking. She was super communicative, positive, and absolutely adored by my dog. Would 100% book with her again.
Anxhela was very responsive before and during Lily’s stay with her and sent us photos while we were away. We would gladly use her again!

Schedule
I am currently in school, and am flexible to any hours/days you may need! Additionally, I am available on Saturdays and Sundays at any time throughout the day. Feel free to reach out with the times/days you need :)

When caring for pets in my own home, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I ensure they have access to fresh water, nutritious food, and cozy spaces to rest. I also supervise them closely, pay close attention, and engage them in playtime or walks to keep them happy and stimulated. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their routines and follow any specific instructions provided. I make sure their pet feels comfortable in their familiar surroundings, maintain feeding and exercise schedules, and provide companionship. Whether at my home or the client’s, I treat every pet and home as if they were my own, ensuring they feel loved and well cared for.
A typical day
Local dog parks, playing with feline friends, and treats/walks around the neighborhood! I can always provide some treats and time in dog parks if the owner is comfortable with it! I am very close to Central Park and Carl Schurtz, so your pup and I will be sure to get our steps in! If you have a cat, I will be sure to provide them with plenty of care and one-on-one time.
