“Alexandria is a pro. She is very polite and asks all the right questions. She has great energy and she did an amazing job sitting for us. Highly recommend Alexandria!”

“Lili was awesome to work with and was an excellent sitter for our pup over 9 days! This was our first time using a sitter for an extended time so I had a bit of nervousness, but he was in the best hands! She was very responsive and provided regular updates, was timely, took great care of him with walks, dropping/picking up at daycare to maintain his regular schedule, cuddles, playtime and he even visited her home as well. And bonus, our apt was spotless upon return. Would absolutely hire Lili again and I know our pup will miss her.”

“Patty was an excellent sitter! She watched my dog for a long weekend and he clearly loved her. She also sent photos throughout, which I love to receive as a pet parent. My apartment was well cared for too. I highly recommend her!”

About: I have had my own pets since I can remember ranging from cats, dogs, iguanas, hamsters, fish, salamanders, hermit crabs, and even chicks. Growing up, I spent my summers on my grandfather's farm raising cows, horses, pigs, cats, dogs, chickens and a rooster. I don't have and human kids but I have raised many fur babies. I am the go-to person for family and friends, especially for pets with very specific care instructions. I am in NYC; I drive and have a pretty flexible schedule at this time. My career outside of pets includes Human Resources Management and Operation Director at different schools. I am currently working for myself as a treat maker so I am very flexible with time. I also have a clean license and reliable transportation. I am currently in NYC but can travel to Westchester County and northern NJ as well. I love when a client gives me detailed instructions and will follow them to a tee. I am a very organized person with a high attention to detail who often goes above and beyond in everything I do. Because I have worked with children and at schools, I have been fingerprinted by NYS/NYC, Dept of Health and the NYC Dept of Ed.
“Ellie had a great time with Yeisha. They played and cuddled, which is a big deal for my pup, who often takes time to warm up to new people. Looking forward to using Yeisha again soon.”

“It was the first time for my dog to be sitted with someone he didn”t know. That brought me anxiety but Brionna in the meet and greet gave me enough confidence to hire her. Although Pelusa played hard to get the first day, they bonded very well as days passed by. I will definitely trust Brionna again to sit for Pelusa.”

About: I am a professional dogwalker and have had several four-legged friends in the past 5 years so I am very capable in a pinch to pamper and play with your pets, including dogs, cats and others. I know how difficult it can be to have someone to depend on when things pop up, so I hope I can be here for you. As a grad student, my availability is flexible, great news for pets who prefer not to be alone all day. Currently available for walks, drop-ins & overnight sits; not available to board. With proper notice, I'm happy to set up a meet and greet before care so I can understand navigating your space and your pet's needs, especially before longer care services. Very open to virtually meeting.

“Our cat is diabetic, and needs two shots of insulin per day. Latasha did a wonderful job at giving him the shot, and spending time with him to make sure he got some play and people time in while we were away. He looked great when we got back, and we're so grateful we found Latasha! Maxwell says thank you for the wonderful care – so do we!”

“My active mini-husky Baxter enjoyed his time with Victor. Victor was professional, on time and took great care of Baxter. I would definitely book him again.”

About: My approach to pet care is genuine and caring combined with a deep understanding of your unique experience as a pet owner (what are your needs, what are your concerns, what do you see as good care for your pet while you're away?). I offer kind and compassionate care tailored to each dog needs, especially for elder pets who require extra attention and specialized care (I have one of my own - almost 13 years old!). My expertise in administering medication and commitment to holistic pet care (full supporter of supplements, acupuncture, and other quality of life interventions) ensures that your furry friend receives not only the best physical care but also emotional support, making their time away from you as comforting and stress-free as possible. If your dog needs longer walks and enjoys nature, I am happy to take your dog on an urban hike adventure in the city. If you need someone to stay with your pet for a few short hours while you're at work and your landlord needs to check the fire alarm system, let me know. I am open to hearing what your needs are and will try my best to add some ease to your life. I currently work part-time at a yoga studio in Manhattan so my availability is flexible. I will update the calendar space as my availability changes. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out through the conversations feature. I do have 2 dogs and husband of my own, so all I ask is for at least one day notice for a walk or stay at your home so I can plan accordingly with them. Thank you! I take walking safety seriously and will make sure that your furry friend is leashed properly before stepping out the front door. While I don't currently crate my dogs at home, I have experience using crates with other doggies. When we have left our dogs with sitters before, we gave a long list of needs and requests so I am happy to see what your list looks like and will complete it to the best of my ability. I am open to hearing your needs regarding what a safe environment looks like for your pet, my ears are open to receiving your own wisdom that you have learned in raising your furry family member <3
About: Dog owners will be especially satisfied with the services I provide because I have skillfully and diligently learned how to understand and absolutely adore dogs. My experience comes from years freelance dog walking (and when I could I'd sit) for neighbors and teachers I went to high school with. I was taught by my teachers even outside of school about dogs and how to be a dog person. They even helped me with training my own. I have owed and cared for American Pit Bulls(owned), Chow Chows, Yorkshire Terriers, Shih Tzuz, Maltese Pups(Owned), Golden Retrievers and Bolognoses. My pet care services include Walking, (which I love most in this season when physical play is at its high for me.) Drop ins, Training and Grooming(for an additional fee). I have took Dog Obidience Classes at Petco in the Bronx NY 2012 and 2015 which was recommend by one of my clients I worked with back in 2012. I watch tons of educational videos about the psychology of dogs on my free time and I am actively always searching for ways to enhance my skills in dealing with dogs and cats alike. I am very responsible and have worked with many high profile professionals who have have been in need of a reliable person to act as an assistant. (Via TaskRabbit) From first meeting my clients, they will naturally sense my honest and loyal personality. (Just like a puppy :) - you pups best friend

“Emoni house sat our 4 pets over the holidays. She did a wonderful job! We have two cats and two dogs, and one of our dogs is a senior Great Dane who has mobility issues and needs daily medication. If you have a pet who is older and needs a little extra special care (multiple shorter walks, medication, help standing up, etc.), Emoni would be a great fit! Emoni stayed in our home and took amazing care of all of our pets. She was great at communicating with us on how each pet was doing, with daily updates and pictures! I definitely recommend Emoni for pet sitting, I felt totally at ease knowing that my pets were being well cared for by her!”

About: My name is Jacob and I love dogs! I’ve been walking them and training them since I was seven-years-old. I have experience with dogs both big and small as well as breeds such as pit-bulls, mastiffs, and labradors. I’m comfortable with any type of dog. As for my previous experience, I used to walk dogs in my neighborhood in New York City where I grew up. I also love cats! I have a nice fluff-ball named Deebo. I love the little guys! I have references and will provide them upon request. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I work night shifts starting at 10:30pm (starting on May 18th) but I’ll be available during the day and evening. Mornings are best, but I’m flexible. I will treat your home with the utmost respect and will cherish your pet. I take pride in my work and will ensure that it will seem like I was never there.
“This was my second time having Julia over for a week to catsit at my apartment. She was lovely to have over and took a great care of my cat, and my apt was cleaner than how I left it. Thanks so much Julia!”

“Audrey was great with my dog who had to have an unexpected surgery right before I left for vacation. She communicated well with me and kept me updated throughout her time with watching her.”

“Asel is fantastic!!! I left my rambunctious golden retriever with her for 8 days at my house and she took phenomenal care of him. She kept me updated throughout the day of cute photos and was a clear and conscientious communicator, which gave me huge peace of mind when I was away. She also was willing to come meet with us before the actual trip to get to know Theo and he took to her immediately. I’ll definitely be using her services again!!”

Fantastic, as always! Dahili takes such excellent care of my dog...I think my dog is sad to see her go and me to return :) And my dog does not bond quickly with new people! Dahili takes her on regular, good long walks, pays attention and affection and is very communicative sending photos and videos while I am away. I cannot recommend her highly enough! Thank you so much, Dahili!

Dayshalis was wonderful with our cats, and a great comfort to know they were in good hands while we were out of town. This was our first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous at first, but Dayshalis made me feel very comfortable right away with how responsive, kind, thoughtful, and respectful she was. She was curious about both our cats, learning their personalities and how to best engage them and give them each what they needed. Dayshalis sent us many photos while we were gone, which were really appreciated, and I could see in the photos that the cats were not only at ease and calm, but enjoying themselves and the interactions they were having with Dayshalis. When we got home, the cats weren’t at all upset that we had been gone, as they sometimes have been with other cat sitters. We really appreciate the care Dayshalis took, and highly recommend her as an excellent pet sitter. Thanks Dayshalis!

Domenica stayed with my dog Kosmos for three nights. I can only recommend her services. She was very responsive, sent me updates, and took great care of him. Kosmos often gets anxious when I’m traveling, which I can see based on how he acts while I’m away and right after I’m back. But this time he was completely relaxed and happy, which is entirely Domenica’s accomplishment.

Liliana was great with Bruno! She took him on many walks through out the day and already had experience administering his seizure meds, which made me feel at ease while I was gone. He was a very happy pup when I returned from my trip. Will definitely be using her services again! Thank you!!

Reese is an exceptional sitter - we feel lucky to have found her in a last minute situation. She was wonderful with both our dogs, a very independent thinking Shiba-mix and an energetic terrier mix pup. She gave them excellent walks and attention as well as attending to their different nutritional needs. I also highly recommend her in a house sitting situation as she left the house spotless! Overall Reese is professional and dependable, very communicative and flexible.

Caroline provided great, loving care for my foster, Harry, and I was able to fully travel for the first time since getting him knowing that he was in knowledgeable hands. Caroline was patient with him and was even able to get him to open up, which isn’t easy!

Alexandria was absolutely amazing. I would recommend her a thousand times over. Alexandria watched my two dogs (one senior and one 1.5 years) for about 5 days. She was very commutive and responsive with all correspondence, including picture updates. The younger dog was recently adopted so Alexandria had to keep up with his ongoing training and high energy. She made my trip stress free.
Amanda was excellent with our baby girl, Fig! At only 6 months old, our pup is surely a handful but she was in great hands with Amanda! She sent updates and pictures throughout the stay and kept Fig on her usual schedule. Hope to book her again- highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Megan. I came home after a long weekend away to a happy, healthy pup, which is exactly what every pet owner hopes for. Communication was easy and prompt throughout the weekend and I received daily photos of Louis that gave me peace of mind while I was away. I really appreciated the updates and the wonderful care.

Leila is absolutely amazing! She took care of my two dogs and cat for seven days and didn’t break a sweat! She followed instructions to a T! My pets absolutely love her! Leila is responsible, caring and just an amazing person! Her positive energy and smile are infectious!!
