Hi! my name is Crystal, I’ve been passionate about caring for animals for 19 years. My journey began at 16 when I got my first dog, who stayed with me for 15 wonderful years. During that time, I learned key skills like administering eye and oral medications and providing attentive care to dogs at every stage of life. After my beloved dog passed over the rainbow bridge in 2017, my two tabby cats came into my life and reminded me that the love I have for animals is something I want to continue sharing with others. Since joining Rover in 2021, I’ve cared for puppies, kittens, adult dogs and cats, and senior pets. I pride myself on following each pet owner’s specific instructions and tailoring my care to each pet’s unique needs. Over the years, I’ve developed strong bonds with the animals I care for and earned the trust of their owners. My goal is to make sure your furry family members are happy, safe, and well-loved while they’re with me. As a deaf person, I’m highly attentive to details, always paying extra care to ensure nothing is overlooked. I work remotely as a freelance ASL instructor, which gives me the flexibility to dedicate the time and attention your pets deserve. I am incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and flexible, and I guarantee that all instructions will be followed with the utmost care to keep your fur babies happy and comfortable!

The number one priority I have as a pet sitter is the safety of your pet and myself. I am always mindful of my surroundings and ensure your pet is in a safe, trusting environment. Your pet will be treated as if they were my own, with attentive care and love. I also have basic medical knowledge and believe in using common sense when it comes to keeping your pet safe. I carefully monitor any changes in behavior and will keep you updated regularly. Clear communication is key! Please provide detailed care instructions for your pet, and I will do my best to follow each step to ensure your pet’s well-being and comfort.

I've used Crystal's services for 2 week-long stays now. Both times, she was a consummate professional. She sent lively updates, communicated any issues promptly and politely, and left my place very clean and neat. Most of all, I think my cat loves her more than me - a great sign for a sitter!

While I am flexible with my schedule, living with sickle cell can make things unpredictable at times. This is why advance notice is very important to me. I believe that clear communication and transparency are key to building a strong bond with both you and your fur babies. My calendar is always up-to-date with my availability. Please keep in mind that last-minute requests may be difficult for me to accommodate due to my health and other commitments. Thank you for understanding!
