“Jay and his partner Ana were incredible. Jay was highly communicative, accommodating and good with our puppy Kona. They went above and beyond to not only set up Kona’s crate and send us cute updates every few hours but also take her to the groomer’s for us and liaison between us and the groomer for that appointment. I know Kona had such a blast with their dog Dani and a visiting one, it was a really ideal daycare situation! We’ll for sure be back to them when we need help again.”

“She took amazing care of our dog during doggy day care. She sent lots of pictures and even sent him home with some fancy treats! He was well loved and cared for.”

“Kadeem was very responsive throughout the entire process. He took my last-minute booking and still squeezed in time for a meet-and-greet before I finalized the booking. He asked great questions to make sure Ginger got the best care. He was also super accommodating and went above and beyond to make pick up and drop off easy for me. I'd definitely book again.”

“Lovely person-a truly good trustworthy dog sitter + very reliable! Also she was so helpful as cars were delayed on both start+ ends by an hour+ Laura was so flexible and helpful! Highly recommend her+ will return!”

“Tracy is a fantastic sitter and we couldn’t be happier that we’ve found her. She is so welcoming, kind, caring and informative and you can tell she loves spending time with dogs. Tracy and Nookie invited our dog Sandy into their home and they had a great time together, Sandy came home shattered which was just what we were after. Tracy provides updates and regular communication and we can’t wait for Sandy to stay with her again as we know she is well looked after and loved, which is a massive relief. We highly recommend Tracy to take care of your dog as she knows exactly what they need.”

“Xander took a really good care of my pup Lulu, and he always kept me updated with everything. Nice and sweet. Will be my come back choice when I needed:)”

About: Hi friends, I’m Lani & dogs mean the absolute world to me 💌 I bond with them until they feel like my very best friend, and I will treat yours as such. I have owned three different breeds, and during college, worked at Shake a Paw Rescue and Adoption Center. I'm comfortable with grooming, walking, pet-sitting, and even overnight boarding, ensuring every dog in my care feels safe, loved, and well-cared-for! When taking on a new boarding/house-sitting client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to chat face-to-face about your care expectations and make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another! No one knows your dog better than you do, so these open lines of communication are a must with me. Offerings: - Fresh pet-safe vegetables & fruits upon request 🥕🫐 - Playtime, cuddles, and exercise (love running & swimming!) *2 min from Morningside Park* 🐕🦺 - Live photo and video updates every walk, meal, or goofy moment 📸 - A clean, safe home with HEPA Air filters & filtered water🚰 - Attention to meds or special needs 💊 (Just let me know all details in advance so I can make sure your pet is 100% comfy) I’m currently in school part-time, so I’m incredibly flexible and the girl you can call on last minute! I can board on weekends, house sit multiple days a week (1-2 days notice) and offer multiple daily walks/visits. I am comfortable giving CPR if ever necessary (knock on wood!) and have 5+ highly rated Vets within just 2 miles of my home in Morningside Heights. I will always adjust my game plan based on your furry friend’s anxiety and comfort levels. I want them to feel as safe with me as they are when they’re with you!
“Mikey was an incredible host! He is so kind, patient, understanding and sent so many updates throughout my pup's stay. He really took good care of him, and I am so grateful that he was so accommodating. And, Kimchi is such an incredible hostess! ☺️ She is so sweet and such a fun playmate that my pup, who has a separation anxiety with me, was more interested in playing with Kimchi than being happy to see me when I picked him up. Thank you both! 🐾”

“Kiky was absolutely fantastic with my 5-year-old Yorkie! She is incredibly patient and caring, which is so important for a smaller dog. I really appreciated how responsive she was throughout the booking, and the photos she sent were amazing—it was so nice to see my pup looking happy and settled. It’s clear she has a genuine love for dogs and takes great care of them. I felt totally at ease leaving him in her hands and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Nyle was responsive, flexible with time and happy to receive Evie early and give her back late! Evie came back happy and bright-eyed, and I was relieved to know she was taken care of all day. She’s exhausted now from all the puppy playtime with Nyle’s dog and will definitely sleep well tonight. Thank you, Nyle!”
“Adam was fantastic with our little rescue dog. Our puppy is very skittish and scared of new people, and Adam was so warm, kind, and patient with him. We were appreciative that Adam was so flexible on the timing and that he was so comfortable taking on our difficult pup. Thanks for a great doggy daycare experience!”

“Emma was wonderful with my baby. He seemed to have a really great time and I’m glad he got along with Emma’s dog Bumbas. My baby is tuckered out and about to go to sleep earlier than usual for a Saturday. I plan to connect with Emma again and I’m going to recommend her to all of my dog parents. Thanks again Emma!”

About: With a almost 2 year old husky/cattle dog mix at home, we’re basically professional walkers at this point , no trail too long, no park too big! Amber takes him on runs, and we’re constantly hunting for new hidden gems around Central Park to explore. When we care for other pups, we bring that same energy, making sure they feel right at home (and maybe a little spoiled too!). Both of us have unusual schedules at work so we are super flexible when it comes to our schedules. We are available during the day for a quick puppy visit, longer walks or overnight for boarding! We lead caring for pets with love and we never force dogs in an uncomfortable situation. We do everything to make sure our pet is comfortable even during new challenging situations as he grew up from an anxious puppy to a confident adult dog.
“Terrelyn was an absolute sweetheart and extremely accommodating. She was communicative and understanding of my pup’s quirks. Godiva would give her two thumbs up if she could! Looking forward to have her look after my dog again soon.”

About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life: both big & small, pure-bred & rescues! I've had my own pup (a long-haired mini dachshund) for the last 15 months which has massively expanded my knowledge on puppies and training. I love dogs and will do whatever is necessary to keep them happy & healthy! I work from home 3x a week (Monday, Thursday, and Friday) and have a very flexible schedule during those days (I don't have many meetings). I also spend a lot of time at home during the weekends so I'm pretty much always around for a walk or pet sitting on those days. My pup is super friendly and absolutely loves other dogs, but is also low energy enough to play for a bit but then do her own thing. Having a young dog, my house is very dog-proofed to make sure she and other dogs I have visiting don't get into anything.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old, ranging in size from 15-110lbs. My lab/pit mix Brady recently passed in June ‘24 and although I’m not ready to adopt a new dog, I figured it would be nice to care for others in the meantime. In 2025 I fostered 11 different dogs & cats in St. Pete, FL through the Pinellas County Humane Society. Since moving to NYC, I’m looking forward to meeting new dog friends, who I’ll make sure to treat as if they were my own. I work from home 3-4 days a week, 1-2 in-office. So I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets during the daytime. Your dogs are welcome to be on the couch, bed, etc. I want them to feel as welcome and as comfortable as possible. I also have treats, toys, pet first-aid, poop bags, a dog bed, & my street is pretty quiet & chill for walks. Morningside Park is right at the end of my block, and Central Park is just a few blocks away, so it’s easy to find some green space to play & get some energy out throughout the day. Additionally, I do live on the 2nd floor without an elevator, so your dog will need to be able to manage the stairs, unless they’re 50lbs or less & willing to be carried. I know it’s scary leaving your pet(s) with someone you don’t know personally, but I’ll always treat them as if they were my own & would never feed them anything or take them anywhere, etc. unless it were approved by you. Your pet’s safety & comfort are my top priority. I’ll always send lots of photos as well so you’re never wondering about them for too long.
Morningside Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
Yui was great with my dog, Marlowe. He can be a bit shy with new people and new settings, but he seems to have settled in and made himself at home. Yui sent a lot of photos and updates throughout the day, which I appreciated, especially when I saw how happy and relaxed Marlowe looked. (Her dog Enzo is super cute, too.) It's always hard to leave your dog with someone else, but I feel comfortable leaving Marlowe with Yui and plan to bring him over for a longer visit when I travel later this month.

Laura has been amazing! Her communication was great and she took great care of our pup Nenya. We could tell that Nenya loves her when we picked her up. She had a super calm and nice approach with her which is great because she is a little bit more on the shy and anxious side. Will definitely book Laura again :)

Kadeem was very responsive throughout the entire process. He took my last-minute booking and still squeezed in time for a meet-and-greet before I finalized the booking. He asked great questions to make sure Ginger got the best care. He was also super accommodating and went above and beyond to make pick up and drop off easy for me. I'd definitely book again.

I can’t say enough good things about Jennie and Miran. Petey adores Jennie, he gets so excited to see her. She often takes care of him during the day and will pick him up and drop him off, though thats not the norm. I don’t need to worry about anything because I know they’re giving him plenty of love while he’s in their home. Petey’s behavior has not always been stellar, yet her response is to try to bring him and Bambi closer together to be good friends. I would recommend them to anyone, they’re just really good people and will take excellent care of your furry friends. 🩷

Lexie is incredible - communicative, amazing with my anxious/high-energy puppy, caring & went above and beyond to make both me & my puppy feel comfortable. Also took my reservation last-minute on a Sunday night which I was so incredibly grateful for. Cannot wait to continue booking with Lexie.

Jill is incredible. Not only did she love my sweet little dog, she also showed me great kindness daily. I found Jill while I was trying to secure housing in NY, and everyday she’d check in on me and how I was feeling, while also becoming my dog’s new favorite person. By the end of the time with Jill, my dog was crying because of how happy she was to see her. If you are looking for a kind, caring, responsible, and overall amazing person to care for your pet- Jill is your answer!

Kiky was absolutely fantastic with my 5-year-old Yorkie! She is incredibly patient and caring, which is so important for a smaller dog. I really appreciated how responsive she was throughout the booking, and the photos she sent were amazing—it was so nice to see my pup looking happy and settled.
