“We recently moved to NYC, and finding someone Wookiee truly loved was one of the most stressful parts of the move. We’re so glad we found Janis! Wookiee felt comfortable right away. Highly recommend!”

“I would definitely recommend Leslie to anyone looking for a dog sitter. I am very particular with whom I leave my dog with and I was very happy with Leslie’s services. He was very accommodating regarding the drop off/pick up times. He sent me many pictures throughout the day of my Lizzy. By his constant communication with me, I knew that Lizzy was in good hands. The best part was that Lizzy was exhausted after her day with Leslie. She only gets like that when she has a good, active day. I am definitely planning on using Leslie again.”

“Audrey was great with my pup! She was very communicative and I could tell he was in good hands. I received several photos during the day as he was getting spoiled, and she was amenable to watching him again in the future. Would definitely recommend :)”

“Brandon was amazing! He communicated so well and kept me updated throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind. My dog was excited at drop-off and absolutely loved spending time with his dog. It was clear she was well cared for and had a great time. I would definitely recommend Brandon to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter”

About: I love dogs (and cats!) I just love them so much :) My husband and I have cared for our disabled Labrador since she was 5 months old (she’s now 7), so I’m very comfortable with special needs and senior dogs. I also grew up with a dog so I am experienced with puppies and basic training. I genuinely love dogs and treat every one like my own! I’m home full-time, so I have plenty of time to give your dog lots of attention, playtime, walks, and care. I’m available throughout the week for both daycare and boarding. I live in an apartment with an elevator. I have plenty of space for play, meals, and cuddles, and I make sure every dog feels comfortable and cared for. I follow each pet’s routine closely and adapt to their individual needs, whether they’re active, chill or somewhere in between.
“Jarianna was a lovely Dogsitter! She took care of my dog so well, and my dog was clearly happy guy. She was very flexible, responsive and communicative. And a very sweet energy. Would definitely book again.”

About: I just moved to New York from Peru after retiring. I enjoy spending time with dogs and I have lots of free time. I am still learning English, so I am not very fluent. My Spanish is great! I live in a nice building on 43rd and 9th close to many subway lines. Thank you. I just retired. I have lots of time to take care of pets and I enjoy the time I spend with them. I am available from Monday to Sunday. I do not have any pets at the moment because I just moved to New York, but I used to take care of dogs in my hometown.
“Hyeju was very kind and took really good care of my dog. She was willing to accept my last minute request and she absolutely met my expectations. Would totally recommend her.”

About: Hi! My name is Sophia. I’m 24 years old, originally from Miami, FL, and I’m currently a graduate student in New York City studying Opera Performance. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Both of my parents are veterinarians, so I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, and animals of all kinds. As a kid, I often went to work with my parents, which gave me a lot of hands-on experience caring for pets. I’m comfortable around animals with all sorts of personalities and needs. I have a special soft spot for senior pets since I’ve had the privilege of watching my own childhood pets grow old. Back home in FL, I have a 14-year-old Mini Pinscher named Snoop and a 19-year-old fluffy tortoise shell cat named Miley Cyrus, who I visit every chance I get. I also recently adopted a 12 year old tuxedo cat named Ziggy, who lives with me here in the city. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or just wants a calm companion while you’re away, I’ll care for them as if they were my own! I’m currently on summer break from grad school and live with my partner of 5 years. We both work remotely, so your pet will almost never be left alone. I’m also a bit of a homebody, so I genuinely enjoy spending time at home with the pets I’m caring for. When classes resume in September, I’ll mostly have morning classes while my partner continues working from home. He is also a huge animal lover and very caring and responsible. We live in a pet-friendly building in Hells Kitchen with several parks nearby, and Central Park is only about a 15 min walk away (for pups who enjoy longer walks and adventures). We share our home with a sweet 12-year-old tuxedo cat named Ziggy. He’s very friendly and playful. He gets along well with both dogs and other cats (especially kittens!). Whenever a new pet stays with us, I always introduce them slowly. I like to give everyone time to adjust to each other’s scent before meeting face-to-face, which helps make the transition much less stressful. I supervise all introductions closely and am always prepared to separate them if they seem uncomfortable or need more time. Having grown up around a lot of animals, I’m very comfortable reading both dog and cat body language, which allows me to stay calm, recognize signs of stress early, and handle introductions safely. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. If your dog or cat is comfortable around cats, I think we’d be a great match! Every pet is different, so I always take time to get to know their personality and what makes them feel comfortable. Whether they want to play, go for walks, snuggle, or just have their own space, I’ll follow their lead. My goal is always to make them feel safe and loved, and if they’re the cuddly type, they’re more than welcome on my couch or in my bed!
About: I have had 3 dogs. My first passed at 13, and the second at 16 (recently). I cared for and trained all of them myself - even though the first was technically the family dog. I have a lot of experience from puppies to geriatric, and genuinely love dogs. I have a dog in the city, and have had a dog since I was 10. I have always taking care of them, and they have always been a part of my schedule and routine. My house is generally dog proofed, but can adjust for different behaviours - you must let me know of any precautions (i.e. cable chewing, furniture biting, etc.) as my dogs have been trained and have never done these things. I do allow dogs on my furniture, so they must be house broken - if not you must let me know and I may have to make them them use the dog bed at night and if I have to leave for a few hours. Your dog must be dog friendly - my dog is not dog or human aggressive at all. I also have a security camera that always monitors part of my apartment.

“James was great with Gilbert! He accepted my booking last minute and played with Gilbert and was super flexible about helping me pick him up. I would definitely use him again!!”

“Kelli was awesome with Maya! Maya had an awesome time and Kelli was also very flexible with us when we were running behind. Will definitely use her again!”

“She is EXTRAORDINARY! Words can not do her level of professionalism and love of our dog Goose! She treated Goose and us just like family. She was kind and understanding...we tried to not be late for meeting which is hard in NYC with 3 children..She is the best fit for any situation!”

“Grace was so sweet and patient with my high-energy puppy, even though she had cysts on her feet at the time. Grace kept me updated and followed my instructions carefully. I got photos and updates throughout the day. Highly recommend booking with Grace!”

“Hahillah is fantastic. I was totally surprised when my dog Chip, who has separation anxiety, was super chill when we left him with Hahillah. He settled into her house quickly and had a great evening. She sent over photos and messages while he was in her care. Highly recommended.”

“I highly recommend Katherine — she made my dog, Linguini, feel happy, secure & loved. She was very communicative & I would happily leave my dog with her again. Thanks so much!”

Allison was so wonderful to work with! Sent lots of pictures and updates and was able to accommodate a last minute request which I greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Allison, I know Reagan had a great time on his day with her and I am definitely planning to send him to her again!

She is EXTRAORDINARY! Words can not do her level of professionalism and love of our dog Goose! She treated Goose and us just like family. She was kind and understanding...we tried to not be late for meeting which is hard in NYC with 3 children..She is the best fit for any situation!

Young was great with our nervous rescue puppy. He was patient and by the end of our booking, Reggie seemed to feel very comfortable with him. Young sent many updates about how he was doing and adjusting, which we appreciated. Will definitely book again in the future!

Jackie makes it clear from the very beginning that she understands how much trust it takes to hand over your new puppy. She immediately puts you at ease, taking the time to ensure you're comfortable and showing genuine thoughtfulness in meeting every one of your dog's needs. Jalen was still a young puppy adjusting to a new environment, yet he warmed up to Jackie almost instantaneously. Knowing he was in such caring, capable hands gave me complete confidence and peace of mind.
