Animal lover who works from home
I’m a dog lover in Soho with over 30 years of experience. I grew up with dogs, and have also dog-sat in NYC for the last few decades. Your dog will be a part of my family when they stay over. I love animals, hanging out with them, snuggling and playing with them, and taking them on walks. Our Frenchie Luna passed away last year- she was paralyzed in her hind legs, and through taking care of her for 13 years gave me invaluable experience in taking care of special needs dogs as well. I work from home and have a large loft where dogs can play and roam. I love going on walks and being active outside. We have a house upstate, and can sometimes take your dog with us to nature if you'd like on the weekends.

Reka is an amazing sitter. Her attention to care is unmatched. She made Saint feel like part of her family. She’s very responsive and sends daily updates and photos. Reka and her family took such wonderful and loving care of my dog Rafa, who was clearly very happy with them for the entire time he was with them. I am so grateful to them and couldn’t recommend Reka more.
Reka was fabulous with my pooch and took such good care of her. She sent me regular pics and updates and followed all my instructions to a tee with regards to how much to feed her and administering her medications like eye drops. i'm excited to use her again next time I need to travel knowing my baby will be in excellent hands.

Schedule
I work from home- so I have a lot of time to spend with your pets. I am active and happy to take your dog on long walks multiple times per day.

Safety, trust & environment
I don’t have any other pets at home. I do have a 10-year-old daughter who loves animals and respects them. Our loft in Soho has plenty of room for your dog to run and play.
A typical day
I usually start the day with a long walk to my daughter’s school at around 8am. Dog park in soho or a short walk after lunch. Another long walk between 2.30-5pm to school. Playtime in the evening with the family, and short walk before going to bed. On the weekends we love to go to our place Upstate (let us know if we can bring your dog), long walks in nature, and snuggly movie nights.
