About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and home care speech-language pathologist (SLP) who creates my own schedule, giving me the flexibility to provide reliable daytime walks, drop-in visits, and personalized care while you’re at work. Dogs have been a part of my life since I was 9 years old. Before my family got our first puppy, my mom made me prove I was ready for the responsibility by waking up at 5 a.m. every morning to walk around the neighborhood and even getting up during the night as if we already had a puppy. It taught me at an early age that caring for a dog is a daily commitment, but the most worth it one. Since then, I’ve cared for my own dogs through every stage of life; from bringing home 8-week-old puppies and helping with training and housebreaking to providing loving senior and end of life care. I’ve also cared for dogs in friends’ and family members’ homes, following each dog’s unique routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications or dietary restrictions, and individual personality. I have experience caring for dogs with special diets, dogs in heat, and dogs who simply thrive when their routine stays consistent. As a home care speech-language pathologist, my career is built around patience, responsibility, communication, and earning the trust of families. I bring that same level of care, reliability, and attention to detail to every pet I care for, treating them as if they were my own. I work as a home care speech-language pathologist in Manhattan, which means I create and manage my own daily schedule. Since most of my client visits take place in the afternoons and evenings, I have flexibility during the daytime when many pet owners are at work. This allows me to accommodate midday walks, drop-in visits, puppy bathroom breaks, and individualized care throughout the week. Because I make my own schedule, I can often adjust my day to meet your pet’s needs whenever possible. I’m already out walking and biking throughout the city for work, so I’ve discovered wonderful dog-friendly parks, quieter neighborhood routes, and green spaces across Manhattan. Whether your dog enjoys an energetic walk, playtime, or a slower stroll, I’ll tailor each visit to their personality and routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, walking routines, house rules, and any special preferences to help pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. Safety is always my top priority. I make sure leashes and harnesses are properly secured before every walk, monitor for signs of stress or discomfort, keep a close eye on surroundings, and never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident knowing their pet is happy and well cared for. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pet is a big decision. I treat every home with respect and every dog with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own.

Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and little quirks - from shy rescues to playful puppies to senior sweethearts who need extra support. I’m attentive to animal body language and emotional needs, and I always take the time to make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and understood. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I can reliably drop in throughout the day - rain or shine - to keep your pet’s routine consistent. Whether your fur baby needs walks, meals, medication, enrichment time, or just extra cuddles, I’m happy to tailor my care to exactly what they need. Safety and cleanliness are extremely important to me. I always refresh water bowls, follow feeding routines closely, and make sure everything is secure before I leave. If you let me know where your trash can and cleaning supplies are, I’m more than happy to clean up any little “oopsies.” I can also vacuum or sweep up any litter that adventurous kitties might track around - whatever helps keep your home tidy and your pets comfortable. I also keep a close eye on pets at all times and send updates, photos, or videos so you always feel connected and at ease while you’re away.

About: DOG EXPERIENCE: I have been a supportive and loyal dog auntie for 7+ years to many of my closest friends! I have brought their dogs to my home, boarded at theirs, and provided ad hoc walking assistance and play sessions whenever needed for them. CAT EXPERIENCE: I am a lifelong cat parent! I had 2 cats growing up, both of which lived 10+ years with me in my childhood home! After moving to New York, my roommate and I co-parented her cat during our time together until she whisked him away to his permanent vacation home in SF. After moving into my own apartment, I adopted a 1 year old Tuxie who was FELV+. Caring for a cat with special health issues taught me how to be deeply attuned to appetite changes, litter habits, hydration, anxiety, etc. I also developed special skills such as administering various types of medications. While he unfortunately succumbed to his illness last year, I was able to adopt 2 three month old kitten siblings from the same shelter! I have learned through them the dynamics between male vs. female behaviors, post-surgery care with their spay and neuter, and navigating their growth spurts and the varying energy levels of young kittens. I have grown to truly understand what cats need most to thrive in their environments: routines, consistent play time and enrichment, reassurance, and just someone to feel fully safe with. What really drives me to pursue pet sitting is that I have had past experiences with sitters looking after my own pets that have not been satisfying, and since then I’ve been committed to providing support that is punctual and to a tee to the instructions given. I am primarily available on weekends Friday - Sunday at any given time needed starting from 6AM to as late as 11PM. There is flexibility on Mondays through Thursdays post 6PM based on the service required I understand how crucial it is to abide by your pets’ regular routine to a tee. New people are already anxiety-inducing and stressful for them as it is! When it comes to my own cats, I feed them 3x a day by my own hand, with snacks set up on an auto feeder twice a day. Cats need at least 30 mins of enrichment and novelty a day, so I typically play with them and introduce something new in the mornings and at night right before bed. I scoop their litter box 3x a day as well. I can also assist with any grooming needs such a nail clipping, teeth brushing, etc. For dogs, I have always walked them 3x a day for my friends and given at least 10 mins of playtime post walks.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember - I spent my free time in high school and college volunteering at local shelters and veterinary hospitals just to be around dogs and cats. I have lived with dogs my whole life, and find nothing more joyous than a happy dog.
