I currently own and run my own business but I work mostly from home. Part of my daily routine includes walking at least 10k steps a day. I am able to spend quality time with your pup 🐶 With any requests I receive, there is an understanding that the time is flexible (+/- 1 hr from the time of booking) and that your pet will end up on my instagram 💕 I love showing my cuties off! But, please let me know if you are ever uncomfortable with any of this in advance. I would really appreciate at least 2 days notice in advance however I will always do my best to accommodate last minute requests. I am currently only accepting new clients that are located in LIC from 11am-9pm

My primary goal when caring for pets in the client's home is to maintain the pets' routine in a familiar environment. I am able to follow exact instructions for meal portions, dietary needs, and feeding times. I can also provide basic home care tasks as requested during my visits. For dogs, I am able to walk, feed, administer meds, provide playtime and reinforce any training. For cats, I can feed, provide playtime, clean litterboxes (scoop, refill, change as needed). For other pets, I can provide playtime, clean up their housing area, replace any bedding, and feed them.

Before we begin our time together, I'll need to know the following: * Does your pet have any allergies/sensitivities? * Are there any existing medical conditions that impact the way they play/walk? * Are they reactive to other dogs? Adults? Children? * Are there any aggression or fear triggers? (wheels, loud noises, eye contact, etc) If there are any specific instructions or other behaviors to make note of, please let me know.
A typical day
I love animals! I love to praise your dog for good behaviors and will be more than happy to reinforce any training you are working with them on. I am capable of walking long distances and would be more than happy to bring them to dog parks if you are comfortable with that. Overall, the idea is to have fun with them and keep them happy 🥰

Pet care experience
I had dogs of my own, all different sizes and ages throughout my lifetime. I have a lot of patience and will take my time to provide the best care your dog deserves. I have experience with different sizes/breeds (toy poodles, pitbull mixes, australian shepherds, and full size bernadoodles to name a few). I also have experience with different ages from highly energetic puppies to stubborn and slow paced senior dogs. I can handle reactive dogs by diverting their attention or just holding them back when unexpectedly triggered.
