About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and home care speech-language pathologist (SLP) who creates my own schedule, giving me the flexibility to provide reliable daytime walks, drop-in visits, and personalized care while you’re at work. Dogs have been a part of my life since I was 9 years old. Before my family got our first puppy, my mom made me prove I was ready for the responsibility by waking up at 5 a.m. every morning to walk around the neighborhood and even getting up during the night as if we already had a puppy. It taught me at an early age that caring for a dog is a daily commitment, but the most worth it one. Since then, I’ve cared for my own dogs through every stage of life; from bringing home 8-week-old puppies and helping with training and housebreaking to providing loving senior and end of life care. I’ve also cared for dogs in friends’ and family members’ homes, following each dog’s unique routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications or dietary restrictions, and individual personality. I have experience caring for dogs with special diets, dogs in heat, and dogs who simply thrive when their routine stays consistent. I work as a home care speech-language pathologist in Manhattan, which means I create and manage my own daily schedule. Since most of my client visits take place in the afternoons and evenings, I have flexibility during the daytime when many pet owners are at work. This allows me to accommodate midday walks, drop-in visits, puppy bathroom breaks, and individualized care throughout the week. Because I make my own schedule, I can often adjust my day to meet your pet’s needs whenever possible. I’m already out walking and biking throughout the city for work, so I’ve discovered wonderful dog-friendly parks, quieter neighborhood routes, and green spaces across Manhattan. Whether your dog enjoys an energetic walk, playtime, or a slower stroll, I’ll tailor each visit to their personality and routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, walking routines, house rules, and any special preferences to help pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. Safety is always my top priority. I make sure leashes and harnesses are properly secured before every walk, monitor for signs of stress or discomfort, keep a close eye on surroundings, and never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident knowing their pet is happy and well cared for. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pet is a big decision. About: Experienced dog-walker, dog-sitter, and overall dog-lover. I grew up with a Bichon Havanese, who I raised and took care of for 15 years. Since then, I have gone through great lengths to make friends with as many dogs as possible. I have worked as a dog-walker and pet-sitter in Boston, Florida, and New York, and also dog-sat while working abroad in Central America. These days, I work remotely for a non-profit and have plenty of capacity to care for pups while I’m at home. I am sadly not able to have a dog of my own in my current living situation, so I am always very happy to spend time with friends' and clients' pets! I am excited to be working with Rover because I am excited to connect with new families and continue doing the work that I love the most. Since my work is done completely from home, I have a lot of capacity for pet-setting from my home, and have plenty of time to play and go on walks with your pups. I live in a spacious studio apartment, so your pets will have plenty of room to stretch out and play and have the zoomies, and it’s also very easy for me to keep a close eye on them since there is only one room. Safety is a priority for me.

About: I have 20+ years in pet care experience, i have had pets all my life. I have experience with small, medium and large dogs, and experience with cats! I own a shitzu which i adopted 6 years ago, she is now a senior, i have a 3 year old Siamese cat which i had since birth and a now 1 year old cat that i had since he was 3 weeks old, which a customer at my job surrendered to me! I also care for someone’s cat every couple of months when she goes on vacation! She is also a customer at my store! I may also add that i work in the pet industry as a manager of a pet store which i been doing for about 8 years. I go above and beyond for not only my pets, but for every pet that steps foot in my presence, whether it’s my home, someone else’s home or at work! I recently resigned from my current job as a manager at a pet store so i can be more available for clients(i absolutely love this job)…..im available to do check ins for anyone that needs their fur babies to get attention granite the pet is in the tri state area! On my free days i can do check ins for any fur baby anywhere. I can pick up and drop off, i do NOT service anyone in Long Island, Yonkers or outside New York, if that changes my details will be adjusted As for the the pet owners, pets that come to my home, if they give special instructions then i follow those instructions, if i ever have them come to my home, they must be friendly with the other pets! No pets are caged unless requested by the owner or require kennel time! I absolutely love, love animals…🐈🐕🐕‍🦺🐩🐾🐶 and if i can afford more i would have a whole house full of them…but for now iim perfectly ok with spending some time with your pet in the mean time….lolz 😆…

About: I have grown up and lived with dogs my whole life! I grew up with 3 labs so I am very familiar with how to take care and entertain medium/large dogs. Additionally, I am able to take care of a wide range of ages since I have lived through all my dogs life cycles. I am also very equipped to take care of small dogs because my parents and my sister have chihuahuas. I am able to get dogs to warm up to me very easily because I understand how to properly approach new dogs and monitor their behaviors toward me. I am a graduate student at Columbia University studying climate science and studies. I have classes 4 days a week midday so I am available mornings and late afternoons. Additionally, I have all of Thursdays off so I am available all day! I live a decently consistent schedule and would be able to take care of dogs on a consistent weekly/daily schedule. I will care for my clients dogs depending on the needs of each dog. For active dogs, I will play and walk them. Older dogs or less active dogs I will show lots of attention to and make sure they still get outside.
