About: I grew up taking care of my own cavapoo puppy Jax and have been a dog walker and sitter for friends and family. I’ve looked after dogs small and large, I love them all! I recently moved to NYC and am looking for dog walking and sitting opportunities in the area. I work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays with a very flexible schedule. I am available for dog walking or drop-in visits on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I am a very responsible and caring dog walker/sitter. I approach all dogs with compassion and empathy, and I am committed to building a relationship with your dog. I live a very active lifestyle and am focused on creating a safe environment for your pet. I also have extensive experience caring for others as a lifeguard and am CPR certified.

“Cassandra is the best! Frankie can be nervous around new people and Cassandra was very patient with her. Cassandra also communicates well and sends lots of updates and pictures. Highly recommend her for anyone in need of a walker!!”

About: Hi I’m Haley - an LES local and animal lover with big Eliza Thornberry energy. A cat mom myself and certified Auntie to my cousin’s pups in Tribeca, animals are a part of my daily life. With 20+ years of pet care experience (and a rescue cat of my own), I get how important it is to trust someone with your fur babies. Whether you’re traveling, buried in work, or just need an extra hand, I’ve got you. From dog walks to day care, house sitting to daily drop-ins — I’m here to make life easier (and your furry friends happier). I’m WFH full time in pursuit of my own business ventures. A morning person with a flexible schedule - I’m available to help 7 days a week from 6am-10pm. When I’m away, I want my sitter to spend quality time with my cat, so I prioritize providing lots of attention to any animal I’m caring for. You can expect lots of pictures and updates from me.

About: I have routinely walked dogs. I have cat sat many times, from dropping in to boarding. I really want a pet myself right now so I’m just happy to spend time with your furry friend I’m working from home and willing to be flexible. Happy to do mornings or nights and weekends. My work is pretty flexible so just let me know I will be very respectful of your space if I enter and I live in a dog friendly apartment. Can be flexible based on what you want.

“This was Kika's first walk with Nicole - but definitely won't be her last! Excellent communication and we so appreciate how she accommodated Kika's tiny senior dog needs.”

About: I’ve worked at a dog daycare for 2 years and have been walking dogs for about 10 years now. At the daycare I stood with dogs overnight, walked them, fed them, administered medications and gave them lots of love and attention. Made sure they were ok, weren’t fighting or getting into any trouble. I also have my animal handling certificate. I had a Rottweiler for 11 years who I had to put down due to her having stomach cancer. It broke my heart because I considered her family. I’ve had 4 cats as well and a few other animals. I love all animals and believe they are more than animals they are family. They deserve to be treated as such and not any different. I work from home so I’m available majority of the day to walk and check in on dogs in the area. I am able to feed them, play with them and administer any medication, eye drops, ear drops, etc if necessary. I usually let animals roam free in my home and keep things that may harm them in places they are unable to get into. They are free to be on furniture and roam as they please. I run my own businesses and I am able set my own schedule which makes it very flexible. I can work with your schedule if needed. In my home I make sure there is nothing around that can harm the animal or make them sick of eaten. I make sure there is space for them to roam and keep any foods they are allergic too where they can’t get to them. In their home same rules apply I also follow any directions given by the pet parent to avoid any injury, harm or damage to the pet or anything in the household.

About: A lifelong animal lover and proud pet parent to my own fur bestie, Wafer. Whether your pet has paws, whiskers, or a wagging tail, I’m here to make sure they’re happy, safe, and well cared for! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, as well as cats who love (or tolerate) human company. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, or just some extra cuddles, I’ll treat them like my own. Can’t wait to meet your fur baby! I work from home (unless I’m traveling for work) so I have the flexibility to take your dog on a walk during the day, or spend some additional time with them. I love to do meet n greets for anything other than a quick drop-in. I want to make sure it’s a good fit and your pet feels most at ease in their space without affecting their routine too much.

“Abigail took great care of my ‘senior’ dog. I would highly recommend her for any of your pups needs.”

“Chris has been such a wonderful care taker for my new puppy. He has always been timely and consistent, while going above and beyond my expectations for my new dog. I can’t speak highly enough of him.”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by a variety of pets, including our family dogs, rabbits, hamsters, fish, and a neighborhood cat named George. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of babysitting dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens for friends and family. I’m excited to connect with fellow pet owners in the city and rekindle my love for caring for animals, something I’ve truly missed in my life. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and spend the rest of the week in my office in Midtown. I have flexibility depending on the request and typically stay in the city most weekends. I fully respect my clients' space, recognizing that I am a guest in their home, and will make sure to leave everything exactly as I found it. I'm a highly organized person and will only carry out tasks as requested or permitted based on the pet care needed. Of course, I’ll always make sure to spend extra time showering the cat or dog with love and earning their trust. :)

“Corinne was so sweet and great with Milo! She took him to have a great time at the park and walked around a bit. He was exhausted from his fun walk!”

About: A lifelong animal friend, dogs of all sizes have been an important part of my life since childhood: I've cared for dozens of dogs for my family, friends, and neighbors (also, former volunteer at BARC dog shelter in Williamburg). As a father of two school aged kids, I’m trying to instill responsibility, respect, and proper care for oneself and for others (especially pets). We are excited to do host dogs with Rover whenever possible. Your dog will be well cared for and will get calm, loving attention. Meet and greets in LES and nearby are all convenient (Corlears dog park, ERiver & Houston softball field, Tompkins Square, etc). pet owners new to Rover $20 off their first booking with this promo code: Promo Code: JASONL73918 I currently work from home and set my own hours, so I can walk and play with your pet as needed. I am a native New Yorker, and so common sense and street smarts add to my skillset as a former public health professional. I have a very large apartment, which is ideal for housebroken and generally obedient dogs and pets. If you have a kennel or crate that your doggy prefers, I would be able to help transport that as well

“Andres has been great taking care of my Husky. Always sends the best pics and is very responsive. Cooper looks forward to his next walk with Andres!”

“I cannot recommend Vicky enough! It’s apparent from the way she interacts with pups that she truly loves dogs and is very much a dog person. There’s very few people I would trust *in my home* with my dogs (especially with all the horror stories about Rover recently), but Vicky is such a trustworthy, professional, attentive and cautious person. I find that a lot of Rover sitters have minimal experience with dogs, outside of their love for dogs or having a childhood dog, but Vicky genuinely does have a lot of experience and is also a dog trainer. One of the things that sets Vicky apart is her experience with reactive dogs. My dog can be anxious around new people and other dogs, but Vicky knew exactly how to handle the situation with patience, understanding, and the right techniques. Her calm and confident approach made a huge difference, and I noticed my dog growing more comfortable and relaxed over time. Vicky also offers grooming services for an extra fee, which has been a game-changer! It’s so convenient to come home to have an at home grooming combined with a walk. Her grooming skills are fantastic, and my dog always looks great after a session with her. Vicky’s great with communication and she kept me updated with messages, photos, and videos, she’s so responsive. I feel so lucky to have found her, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pups!”

“Haley Mae Sichel has a love of all animals, especially cats and dogs. There have been pets in her life since the day she was born. She is very attune to pets needs such as daily fresh water change, timely feeding and, if necessary, medicine routines. Haley volunteered at her local veterinary clinic while in high school. She not only maintained cages and their establishments, she was able to witness surgeries. She is an exceptional caregiver, reliable and trustful. Thank you. Diane Sichel”

“Sandra adores dogs. Never having them herself, she treats others’ lovingly as if they were her own. The simple sight of a dog makes her smile uncontrollably as she resists the urge to pet it.
