Hello there! My name’s Nicole — I am a big time animal lover with a desire to make taking care of animals my full-time job! Apart from having a deep passion for animals, I am also an avid runner, cycler, and artist. In my spare time, you'll find me going on long strolls with my own dog, Bruce, working on a watercolor painting, or making jewelry. I am currently in the process of obtaining my dog training certification and hope to eventually introduce those services to this platform. I have often been relied upon by family and friends to care for their pets and find a lot of enjoyment out of making sure these animals are cared for, while their paw-rents are away. I love being able to provide pet owners with a sense of peace while they are on vacation, knowing that loving and attentive care is being provided to their pets. I live an active lifestyle and have the stamina for longer dog walks and at various points in the day if needed. I am also knowledgeable and comfortable with properly putting on and fitting various dog collars/walking gear, whether it is a harness or prong collar. I have a dog myself — his name is Bruce, and he comes with some behavioral issues that I am properly equipped to handle — reactive/fearful tendencies. Therefore, I am pretty confident handling any dog temperament. I am punctual and organized and am able to keep calm and remain unflappable during stressful situations. I am honest and am happy to send daily photos and updates of your fur babies. I also promise to respect the space of the pet owner and understand the responsibility and trust I am given when asked to care for the animal and the home in which they exist in. Safety, trust & environment
I make sure to clean food bowls after every feeding. Water bowls are cleaned and refreshed daily. Litter box if applicable is attended to daily. Cats and dogs are provided with play time and love. Dogs are fed in their crate in case of any resource guarding tendencies. I am only gone for about 5 hours at a time, so that would the longest a dog will be left alone in my home. I only request that the dog is crate-trained.
Ratings and reviews
Nicole was so sweet and understanding with my last minute request for a drop in for my dog! She was receptive to my instructions about approaching Fernanda, who can be wary of strangers, though they ultimately proved unnecessary-- Fernanda took right to her! She was very communicative and took lots of adorable pictures. Would recommend!
Nicole took great care of Josie. She is reliable, a great communicator, followed care instructions well, and left our house exactly as she got it. We are very glad we found her and would have her stay with Josie again without reservation.
Nicole is amazing! This is the second time she has dog sat for us in our home this time for a week. She and our dog have become the best of friends. Nicole takes great care of our dog (and home) and sends regular updates and photos. Our dog always comes back even better behaved than when we left her. Thank you, Nicole!
Nicole was amazing! I was super nervous about leaving my cat alone for 2 weeks, but she was very communicative and attentive the whole time. The drop in reports included a lot of great photos and notes about how he was doing, so I was never left wondering. I came back to a happy, healthy cat who got lots of play time and cuddles while I was away. Plus my apartment was super tidy. I will definitely work with Nicole again next time I have to go out of town and would recommend her to others!
Nicole is a great walker for our dog, Soup! He’s really warmed up to her, and she is always prompt and communicative. We will definitely be using her services again.
Nicole was amazing with my anxious puppy, Penny Lane. She sent so many videos and photos, updating me throughout the weekend. She was very reassuring on my first trip away from my puppy with a dog sitter. I appreciate how patient she was with Penny's anxiety - it made me feel like I could actually relax on my trip! Will definitely book her again.

Schedule
I currently desire to make this my full-time job, so my availability is very open. Animals are one of my biggest passions -- having a dog myself, I will find myself in prospect park almost every day playing fetch or providing extended sniff sessions for my pup or yours!
