“Great communication and lots of patience for my pup who is still adjusting to a new home. Follows directions and gives me confidence that my little one is in good hands while I’m away. Will continue to book Rosa in the future. Thanks!”

“Best sitter in this app, we have tried other sitters in the past and def Adriana have been the best.Adriana took care of our dog and cat for a week and we always felt that both of your pets were in good hands. You cannot find a better sitter in this app, she is the best.”

“Samantha was wonderful with our cat & dog. She came for a meet and greet before the trip, and sent regular updates and photos while we were away. She was a huge help, and we’ll be hiring her again!”

“Meaghan was wonderful with our little puppy. You could tell that she loves animals and that she knew how to handle a first time meeting without causing the dog unnecessary anxiety. That allowed us to leave feeling secure that Maisie was in good hands!”

“Anj took wonderful care of Gooby and our apartment during a long weekend. She sent multiple updates throughout the weekend and we could see how comfortable Gooby was with her! Gooby is excited for his next stay with Anj 😁”

“Ariel is a stellar sitter, kept me updated and even gave my dog a bath cus he accidentally rolled on some poop at the park. And my dog is no small dog. also cared for my cat, brushed his hair and the whole 9.”

“Albert was amazing with my two boys. He communicated well and very flexible. He sent videos and pictures and provided very good updates. He even left a Polaroid picture of the boys on the counter upon our return. We will definitely be booking Albert again!”
“Saifa was the best! My dog can be reactive to other dogs and is a finicky eater and Saifa had no problems. I got pictures and updates all weekend and overall she’s super communicative. Overall great house sitting experience!!”

“Aida is great. She sat the house and my 15 year old cockapoo and 8 year old cat for five days. The fur babies loved her, she was in regular contact with me and sent photos once in a while (but also did not overload me with them, either). The house was in great condition when I got home. Couldn't ask for more. I will hire her again, except she is in high demand and you will need to book early.”

“Danny was wonderful! He stayed at our place for 3 nights and watched two of my elderly (12-13 yo) little 9 lbs dogs. He was extremely professional and responsible - prompt with replies, followed up politely when I failed to respond in a timely fashion, and left the house in very good order. I highly recommend Danny and would absolutely seek him out again.”

“Sophia is great! She watched our dog while we were gone for 10 days for our wedding. We had such peace of mind knowing he was being taken care of and safe at home.”

“Astrid was the perfect sitter to take care of our girl during our quick getaway. We decided we wanted someone to stay at our place instead of boarding like we usually do, and I immediately felt she was trustworthy and responsible. She kept us updated with pictures and videos, which is always so appreciated. Would definitely book Astrid again, thank you so much!”

“Elizabeth was amazing with my dog, Chili! Chili had an unexpected medical emergency while with Elizabeth and she handled it perfectly and was so great at communicating with me. Would absolutely book with her again”

“Kimora was an incredible sitter for my cat over a long weekend - she was thoughtful, reliable, and sent consistent updates & photos. I could tell my pet was in great hands and I will definitely book with her again!”

“Juliana is great - I highly recommend her! All we dog lovers have to suffer through occasional separations when our travel plans cannot include our pets (our cat has no desire to get in the car...). With Juliana, we know we have nothing to worry about, and that is a huge relief!”

“Eirill is wonderful with our little (big, rambunctious) pup! She is very communicative, and makes it easy so we don’t have to worry about him when he is with her. Our pup seems to love her, and she is very sweet with him. She is very conscientious with all details of his care and our house. Have already booked her again!”

“Lauren was great! She was really communicative and easy to coordinate with. Sent updates, took great care of our pup, and left everything in great shape. Will definitely book again!”

“Khoi was amazing with my dog Russell! He was super attentive and even worked to find ways to get him to walk as he can be a bit stubborn with new people. I will definitely be booking him again when the opportunity arises.”

Lower East Side pet parents share their Rover experiences
I was very happy with Caroline as my pet sitter. It was my first time leaving my dog with a stranger and I was nervous. Caroline was very communicative and professional, and really put my mind at ease. I wrote up a long list of info/instructions and she didn't act like I was crazy! She was punctual. She left my apartment in perfect condition and my dog clearly had a fine time (he always has a little anxiety when I pack a suitcase but she clearly managed it well). I will definitely use Caroline again!

Nicole is an excellent sitter! She went beyond the basics of just taking out and feeding our dogs and was really attentive to them in a way that average sitters aren’t. One of our dogs is older with special needs and she was able to handle it no problem. She also easily managed our other dog’s difficult quirks and within a matter of a few hours they were totally comfortable with her. I would absolutely have her sit for us again any time.

Perla and Sophia showed their love for Beau and looked after him like a member of their own family which is what we would want from any Rover sitter. Special shout out to Sophia who showed great maturity and provided any support Perla needed to look after Beau!

Yasha was amazing with our dog Willow for a longer stay while we were away. Willow had TPLO surgery five weeks prior and was on strict activity restriction, so it was very important that we found someone to trust with all the special instructions and medications, and Yasha was wonderful with all of it, and sent amazing updates :). Would definitely recommend Yasha for medical/ senior dogs!

This was my first time leaving Ruffles with someone, Mint’s puppy experience was a big plus and great reviews. I also had a wonderful experience, he’s super nice and great communication; I felt at ease. Arrived promptly and stayed an extra 10 minutes as I was running late back. I received updates and photos and really felt a-okay for the first time being away. Ruffles was in good spirits when I arrived home and slept through the night. I will be hiring again!
