Best time for your best friend!
I had a cat for over 15 years and have regularly taken my neighbors' dogs for walks since I was a kid. I decided to join Rover because I’ve always enjoyed taking care of my friends’ dogs, and this is a great way to continue doing what I love. We treat every pet as an individual and aim to provide the care that suits them best. We love every pet we host, and we want to ensure your pet knows that whenever they visit us, they'll have the best time! Recently, my wife and I adopted an amazing pup named Lorraine, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! She’s brought so much joy into our lives, and while we’re loving every moment of having a dog of our own, we’ve also always loved caring for others’ pets. We’re also active individuals and are big believers in mental and physical exercise for our animal friends too. Outside of regular walks, expect daily dog-run hangs and long walks to Fort Greene and Hillside dog park whenever possible. Between walks, your pet will receive constant attention and affection. Please let me know any special needs your pet may have ahead of time so that I can provide the best service suited to them. This may include dietary restrictions, walk intensity, personality traits, potential separation anxiety, and how they get along with other pets. Our apartment building is very pet-friendly, and having pets is encouraged! Lorraine is a social butterfly and loves making new friends, and I’m so excited to let your dog meet her and my neighbors' dogs for a fantastic time!

Aksel has watched our dog many times and we rest easy knowing that our pup is in great hands. Honestly our dog probably has more fun with Aksel than at home. We were in a pinch and had to drop our dog off at the last minute this time - it is such a relief to know that Aksel will make sure our quirky and stubborn dog will be well looked after.
Great experience with Aksel as always! He picked up our dog from daycare and the daycare staff commented on how excited they were to see each other!

We’re active individuals and are big believers in mental and physical exercise for our animal friends too. Outside of regular walks, expect daily dog-run hangs and long walks / runs to Fort Greene and Hillside dog park whenever possible. Between walks, your pet will receive constant attention and affection. Let us know if your dog likes to go on runs! We do too! We also have tons of toys so your dog will definitely find something they like.
