Professional Cat Babysitter
I've been a full-time house sitter for nearly 3 years now and have cared for 80+ cats on an overnight, live-in basis, plus drop-in visits for another 100+. Ages have ranged from 4 months to 21 years old and personalities have included the most anxious, shy, and antisocial. I've administered oral meds in food/treats/pill pockets, as liquids through a syringe, and as pills directly in the mouth; insulin shots; eyedrops; transdermal ear creams; and an inhaler. I’m open to learning how to administer subcutaneous fluids. I am cognizant of common dangers to cats (e.g., screen-less windows, toxic plants and foods, etc.) as well as illness/behaviors that require vet attention.

I always follow the pet parent’s routine as closely as possible. I treat each cat in my care as my own and work to earn their trust. For drop-ins, I always stay for the full period booked (unless otherwise instructed) and for housesits, I take care of your home better than I would my own. I consider it my role to make pet parents feel at ease while away.
Ratings and reviews
Steph did a wonderful job with our elderly kitty. Steph was able to put our concerns at ease while we traveled for 2 weeks and gave us detailed updates about the things we cared about most. She did great with the regiment and was flexible when our little girl decided to stray from the program. We came home to a clean house and a happy kitty. I hope Steph will sit for us again in the future!
I am psychotic about my cat and work from home so he is quite needy - our standards are HIGH. I frankly did not think anyone could meet them and yet Steph EXCEEDS the bar. My nervous boy was immediately put at ease by Steph, who gently and lovingly cared for him for over a month while I was away. She patiently cleaned up his floofy pantaloons when he had a nervous accident the first day and carefully removed the small mats his furry body tends to get. She gladly met his constant bids for playtime and got out every toy he’s ever owned to entertain him. He and my apt(!) are in better shape than when I left. She even washed all the bedding and changed the sheets which was a godsend after a long trip. We don’t deserve Steph and I think my cat is asking if she can adopt him now. Thank you Steph!!!
Steph took such good care of Charlie while I was away and made sure to play with her and make her feel comfortable during my trip. Thank you so much Steph!
Went the extra mile on looking out for my cats, was always prompt, and sent pics/videos while I was gone!

Schedule
I work remotely part-time, so during housesits, I'll be home often hanging out with your cat(s). In addition to drop-ins, I sporadically work part-time out of the house doing various gigs here and there.
- CatsSteph can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- 1) any 'abnormal-seeming' behavior or conditions that are entirely normal for your cat; 2) anything to watch out for (e.g., your cat tries to run out the door, eats people food/plastic/hair ties/etc.); 3) where you store the carrier(s); 4) vet and/or emergency contact info; and 5) for housesits, your cat(s) regular meal times
