I give pup parents peace of mind knowing their fur baby is treated like family - with love, good food, exercise, “family time”, patience, fun and plenty of belly rubs! I am a caring, energetic, and mature woman who loves dogs! My references and reviews attest to my character, reliability, and top tier ability to care for pups. I’ve had the joy of doing this for fun and on a part-time basis with all breeds of pups - poodles, terriers, Aussie doodles and more. Who knew that what started off as an attempt to use my neighbors adorable Aussie doodle to meet cute singles in prospect park during the pandemic (not ashamed to admit that Leo is the best wingman I’ve ever had 😆) would turn into a deep love for dogs. I regularly go on 3 mile walks in beautiful Prospect Park and would love another wingman or wingwoman to join me 😄. There’s also a dog run near me for pups who prefer the softer life of quarter mile walks.

Nena took fantastic care of our pup while we were away! She kept us updated with pictures and videos and little notes—it was such a relief to not have to worry that he was happy, healthy, and doing OK. We came home to pup who clearly had a great time! Thank you, Nena!☺️

Schedule
I work from home and have a a couple of standing meetings. I’m an athlete to my core and have a regular routine of walking before, during and after work hours - can you say 10,000 steps 😄 This makes it easy for me to care for a pup and give them the time, movement and attention they need throughout the day. I truly consider them apart of my family when they’re with me and would care for them the same way I do my niece, when I’m wearing my aunty hat. That said, call me, “The Dog Aunty” 😆 because your pup will be treated as though they’re the newest member of my extended Nigerian family. Don’t be surprised if he or she comes back with an advanced degree and jollof rice (For those who know Nigerian 🇳🇬 culture…please laugh out loud 😂

I have a welcoming and clean apartment with good space for your fur baby to move around and relax as needed. I have fully embraced my role as Brooklyn’s #1 Dog Aunty and have outfitted my home with the latest and greatest toys from the Marshalls dog aisle…(can we talk about how amazing Marshalls is for all dog everything?) Safe to say I’ve probably spent most of my dog sitting earnings in the Marshall’s dog aisle and I’m proud of it. Pups love lounging on my sofa, clean hardwood floors, loveseat and my lap! If I step out for an errand, basketball open run, or date (that your pup hopefully helps me secure) I’ll often return to a pup lying gracefully on my queen size bed. While I prefer my bed be off limits, I have caved to the cuteness of my fur nieces and nephews and purchase a throw cover they can lounge on. I'm also a big walker, so we'd go on regular walks throughout the day and night, especially since I have multiple parks and a dog run near my building. At the end of the day, I LOVE DOGS and pups feel that welcoming and loving spirit in my home from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave.
A typical day
I love to take dogs to the park and play! Whether it's running around or chasing a toy, we like to move, keep active, and have fun in and outside the house.
