“We highly recommend Michelle to care for your fur babies! We had a Meet+Greet with her before the drop-in appointment and our pups loved her instantly. They were happy to see her when she returned for the drop-in visit the following day. She followed directions exactly as we requested. She even arrived a little early which worked out well for us. We needed to turn our phones off about the time she was set to arrive. We were able to buzz her into our building because she took the initiative to arrive 15 minutes early. About: I've been a happy dog and cat owner for over 30 years and am married to a well-known and best-selling positive reinforcement dog trainer. I've assisted with dog training classes for over 20 years and have helped care for many dogs and cats while their owners were unable to do so. I'm semi-retired from I.T. and only work a couple hours of day doing I.T. consulting from my home. The rest of my time I try to fill with helping out families with pets because I remember all too well how difficult it was to find trustworthy and compassionate pet help when it was needed. While the specifics of each pet differ, I approach each with the same patience and positivity that I use with my own pets. I've found that consistently building trust and a healthy relationship go a long way toward making our time together a positive, happy experience.

About: My most recent pup family member is a Shih Tzu named Rocky I took in that was being abused by his owner. This has allowed me to have great awareness on understanding the body language of dogs and understand how to prevent or remove a dog from an uncomfortable situation with both people and pets. I also helped my roommate in college raise two gorgeous Border Collies, Mac and Kelso, who were siblings that we adopted when they were 8 weeks old. Raising them helped me to have great experience with pups and know how to encourage and improve good habits, and how to discourage bad habits. I'm also very accustomed to high energy dogs because of them, and I always include jogging, running, and/or sprinting in my dog walking sessions with pets that require it. I parted ways with both of them when we graduated so they could move with my roommate and his wife to Florida, where they'd have a lot more open space and a lot more beaches to swim at. My schedule is extremely open for taking care of furry friends. I’m working towards being a personal trainer and dog walking is is the most enjoyable way for me to make sure I’m getting my steps in every day! I'm aware of the body language and emotions that pets exhibit due to my pet care experience. I'm always happy to give pets the play time and attention that they need depending on their energy levels and age.
