I’ve read some horror stories about overnight sitters, as I’m sure you have. If I am house-sitting for you, I will be staying overnight in your home, so your pet will be in its usual environment. If you choose daycare or boarding with me, I will be staying overnight with your pet in a secure, cozy apartment with a fenced-in backyard (my own dog and cats won’t be present). I don’t walk dogs off leash and I don’t open windows for the safety of small dogs and cats. If your animal has any symptoms of illness, you’ll be advised immediately. If it’s hot out, I will ask that we run the A/C for the health of your pet. The well-being of your pet is as important to me as the well-being of my own pets.

About: Moving to NYC in September from Minneapolis where I have have been watching dogs for the last year and a half while working remote. I graduated from the University of St. Thomas in May 2020 and have a dog back home in Wisconsin who is 10 years old and a Havanese. I would walk hi daily and care for him when I was back home and would love to hang out and care for dogs while working remote. I also have a few dogs I consistently watch in my apartment building and as well as being a constant go-to when friends need a sitter. I am extremely motivated and passionate. About: I’ve grown up with animals my entire life and have primarily cared for cats. I also have experience volunteering at a dog shelter and looking after pets for neighbors and family members, including dogs, cats, fish, and guinea pigs. I recently moved to the city and currently work as a preschool teacher. I’m a huge animal lover and truly miss having pets around, so I love any opportunity to care for them.
