Hello! My name is Sara, I live in Central Harlem, but I am originally from New Mexico. I adore dogs, I always had dogs growing up that ranged from the size of a Jack Russell Terrier to a Samoyed/Lab mix. Recently, I had an amazing, sassy 14 year old Chihuahua named Ginger (pictured pretty frequently). I have experience caring for my own, my friends, and family’s pets. I also have experience with senior and special needs dogs. I find it important to give dogs in my care consistent 1 on 1 attention with a lot of activity if required or a comfortable place for naps. I can care for two dogs of the same size at once but prefer to have one at a time. My schedule is pretty flexible, I work from home and receive Summer Fridays. I am attentive, a consistent communicator, easy going, and active. I am happy to discuss yours and your pet’s needs and expectations.

Schedule
I do work a standard 9-5, Monday- Friday corporate job. However, with a day’s notice I can choose days where I am working from home and receive Summer Fridays when I’m done by 1:30pm. I will be able to give consistent care to your pet Thursday-Sunday.

Safety, trust & environment
I have extra pee pads, poo bags, water and food bowls if necessary or forgotten. When it is my own home I prefer to care for one dog at a time. I am very respectful in another person’s home and follow directions exactly as required.
A typical day
Where I am currently located I have two parks in walking distance, both including dog areas. If your dog is antisocial I can keep a distance and make sure we are walking specific areas to avoid too much foot traffic. I love to be active and can meet your dog’s needs.
