Hi! I'm Allie, and my dog Fennec and I would love to care for your pup! I grew up with both dogs and cats, and I have many years of pet sitting experience. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages, and I also have experience taking care of dogs and cats with special needs. I first started pet sitting on Rover about a decade ago when I wasn't yet ready for my own dog but still wanted to get my "puppy fix" from time to time. In early 2025, my partner and I finally adopted our own little guy, Fennec, and now continue pet sitting for his sake -- he loves making new friends and is so happy anytime there's another little buddy around. I am that crazy dog mom who is obsessed with ensuring my pup is always safe, healthy, and happy, and I can guarantee I’d channel that same energy toward taking care of your dog. I know how anxiety-inducing it can be to leave your baby with someone else, but I can assure you that your dog would receive tons of love, attention, and care while with me. My Peanut adored Alexandra. Am very grateful for the regular stream of pictures and clips also. Peanut got 3 walkies and loads of attention. Very happily would recommend Alexandra.
Alexandra was an exceptional sitter. My baby felt loved and comfortable her whole stay which was apparent by the many pictures she shared with me. She provided great communication. She was very understand when my flight got back later than expected and I was a little late to pick up. I will definitely book with her again.
Allie watched our two cats while we were away for a long weekend and took wonderful care of them. She stopped by twice a day, and we appreciated that she did more than just feed them -- she would hang out with them for a little while each time and pet them or play with them, which I know they loved. We will definitely be hiring her again next time we're out of town.
Allie watched my cat over the holidays and was great. She sent me regular updates each day, as well as cute pictures, which was much appreciated. She's quick to respond to messages and was very flexible with us as our return plans changed a few times. I recommend her to anyone else looking for a cat sitter!
Allie was a wonderful house and dog sitter for us while we were away. Our dogs clearly loved her, and we felt confident that they were receiving the best care. We especially loved that she sent updates and photos each day to keep us in the loop. I highly recommend Allie!

Schedule
I work from home full time, so your pet will get lots of quality time with me and Fennec if they stay at our place for boarding or doggy day care on weekdays. My partner is in the office M-F, but he is also a dog lover and around in the evenings / on weekends! For drop in visits and walks, I can typically make myself available midday and in the evening. However, if you need a specific time outside of those windows, don't hesitate to reach out because I tend to have some flexibilty in my schedule!

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a pet-friendly apartment building with plenty of room for small dog indoor playtime. We are just 2 blocks from Central Park and about 3 blocks from Riverside Park. Fennec and I love to go for long park walks (or sometimes just lounge around in the grass) every morning and evening! We would be thrilled to have your pup join us on a park excursion. 😊

A typical day
Your dog will have so much fun staying with us! Fennec and I love taking long walks around our neighborhood, and we go to either Central Park or Riverside Park at least twice per day (often more when the weather is nice!). We're also big fans of indoor play and have an apartment with plenty of room for that.

- Because of Fennec's small size, we are only able to host other small pups (less than 20lbs) who get along with other dogs. We’d love to do a meet and greet ahead of time to let your puppy meet both Fennec and me. If you're able to share a bit about your dog's personality and any specific needs ahead of time, that would be great!
