They can be my ultimate "co-worker" and snooze by my desk, complete with structured potty breaks and dedicated 1-on-1 attention. (Daycare hours are strictly between 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM) Special Care Policy: My base rate covers standard house sitting/boarding (for dogs who are comfortable being left alone for 6-8 hours). Xiaohui provides an interesting strategy to watching for your dog. From my experience she seems to provide a more cold and analytical method to caring for dogs. When she first arrived to my house she was shocked to see that I stayed to greet her instead of just letting her have the place without ever meeting. In the first 5 minutes in the house she didn’t even really acknowledge my dog who was excited to meet someone new and who happened to be his new sitter. While watching my dog her updates were all very cold and analytical. She provides many pictures of the dog walking and sitting by himself but never the two of them interacting. I have instructions on where he needed to be walked and that was completely discarded on the first day until I said something. Another oddity, she counts exactly how many time the dog poos and pees and gives that info consistently. At the end I got a grand total of pees and poos and so if that’s info you need to know then she is the right sitter for you. I prefer someone a bit more caring for the animals who provides pictures and updates of them being comfortable and having fun. Now the second part is also tough. When I pay a sitter to watch my dog and house I expect the house to be in a similar condition to when I returned. But it was a bit of a mess. My plants were messed up, she left the heater on all day (it’s the spring), my personal items were all moved around, and there just didn’t seem to be any effort upon leaving to bring the house back to how it was when she got there. I’m giving 3 stars because at the end of the day my dog is safe and sound.

I was so appreciative of finding Xiaohui at the last minute to look after Max for the evening. She is so adaptable and caring, with amazing attention to detail. Max is an older dog that requires a lot of patience, and Xiaohui was perfect. She sent plenty of updates and pictures throughout the evening. Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you, Xiaohui !

Xiaohui was last minute find through Rover, coving a 24 hour house sitting and puppy care, and she was excellent. She followed all the established patterns with Peyton and kept me well informed of their time together. I would recommend her to anyone.
