About: Growing up, there was always some sort of pet at home, more often than not a dog. I ended my dog-less drought when I dog-sat for a coworker. At the time I thought I was doing her a favor, instead, she reminded me how much I missed having a dog at home. Since then I've been dog sitting for friends, coworkers and fellow New Yorkers. I share my spacious 2-bedroom, Washington Heights apt, with a friendly 2 year old Frenchie, and several aquatic friends. Your dog(s) will feel right at home because they will be home. No place is off limits, except maybe the trash. I have experience with small to XL dogs and don't discriminate based off of breed type. I can even accommodate (on a case by case basis) dogs with aggressive tendencies. Age is not an issue, have experience with puppies to senior pup, can also accommodate special needs on case by case as well. This could also just mean cracking a window which usually should have a mesh screen, but windows do stay cracked open enough for their faces to feel fresh air. I clean the space at least once every few days depending on number of pets. Making sure there are no hazards or dangerous accidents that could potentially occur. In public, your pet will never be left alone nor unattended by my own eyes. If a situation seems unsafe for them, there is no hesitation by me to remove us from the equation. I do encourage a 'no-pressure' introduction meeting prior to official booking, it can gage how both the pet and you feel with having me service you!

This was a mix of big and small dogs and various breeds and attitudes. I am totally flexible on time and length of stay just looking forward to spending time with your pets! I live in an apartment building with my 9 year old female pug Daisy. Daisy lived with 4 other dogs while for the first 3 years of her life and got along great with everyone! She has loved having his Rover friends coming to visit since we started over a year ago! We lost our other fur baby Rondo in April 2023 so Daisy having company makes us all smile! Daisy pretty low energy but will gladly perk up when some young energy comes around. Our feeding schedule looks like twice a day morning and night with 3-4 walks per day. We are also open to accommodating other feeding schedules as needed. (Please note: grazing feeding does not work in our house due to the other dogs allergies and diets, if your dog typically grazes we are happy to offer food multiple times a day separately) We love having meet and greets before agreeing to have your pet in our home. And to see new places we’re happy to find a good halfway place between us! I am currently working from home with a flexible schedule. I can step away when needed and being that we live in such a walkable area, taking a quick trip outside is never an issue. I have a spacious apartment with my own pups that loves to sleep and snuggle. They are playful at times and loves being with other dogs. We can crate dogs if a crate is provided.

About: I am a dedicated pet care provider that is comfortable with any animal shape or size. About: I have an 18-year-old senior pup who is still as active and playful as when he was a puppy, and I have been his main caretaker since we adopted him when I was 10-years-old, so I have plenty of experience caring for dogs and prioritize keeping safe and happy! We also had other dogs growing up, so I am used to caring for multiple dogs, dogs of various ages and sizes, and dogs of all energy levels. Specifically, as my doggo has aged, I have a lot of experience with medicine routines, slower walks, attention to health details, and all other requirements of caring for senior dogs. In college, I would housesit for families with all kinds of pets (including rabbits, geese and chickens!) and this helped me pay part of my school costs. However, I enjoyed caring for other's pets so much, I have continued to do so for years after college! I love getting to know new furry friends and making sure they are happy, exercised, well-fed, and enjoying themselves while their parents are away! I am currently working part-time, and often only for a few hours in the evening, so I have lots of time and flexibility to care for you pup, prioritizing being available for prime walking hours in the sunshine! I am willing to work around my part-time hours to meet your dog's routine needs. I am willing to care for the dogs in your home so they are comfortable in their own spaces and can generally keep their normal routines. I am flexible and willing to follow any instructions about your space that you provide.
