I currently have a full-time remote job, but I can work from anywhere as long as there’s a table and an outlet—so for housesits, I am able to work out of your home and spend the majority of my time with your pet. Apart from a daily meeting from 9:30-11 am, I have a lot of flexibility and can make walks or drop-ins work at most times of the day. Please note that I require meet-and-greets before booking a stay so we can chat about your pet’s needs more in depth and so your pet can familiarize themselves with me before I care for them.

I’m happy to do whatever would make you feel most secure about entrusting your pet with me and I would care for your pet as if it were my own. In addition to any specific needs that you and I discuss, I’ll give your pets lots of attention and however much petting/snuggling they’re comfortable with, and send you detailed updates and pictures with each walk or visit.

A typical day
For dogs, I love to walk in the park or down by the water so they can have some nature time and have enough space to explore and smell. For cats, playtime and one-on-one social interaction are crucial components of my care routine—so if your cat wants to play, you can rest assured that I will happily play with them for as long as they need!

Hi! I’m Devon, and I’ve been a pet-lover and pet-haver my whole life. My parents show dogs, so I’ve been around dogs and puppies (up to 9 at a time!) since I was a little kid. I adore dogs big and small and have extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages and temperaments, including puppies. But despite my lifelong love for dogs, I actually consider myself a cat person at heart! I’m always the person at the party hanging out with the cat in the corner, and our cats Steve and Sophia are without a doubt the absolute loves of my life. I would love to walk your dogs or take care of dogs or cats in your home. I love to play with cats and walking is for real my favorite hobby, so I’m excited for your pup to join me.
