I work primarily from home in Astoria; for housesits, I am able to work out of your home if that’s your preference. Apart from a morning meeting from 9:30-11, I have a lot of flexibility and can usually make walks or drop-ins work any time of day. However, because my job has busy periods and my workload changes from week to week, I no longer accept long-term recurring weekly walks. Please note that I require meet-and-greets before booking a stay so we can chat about your pet’s needs more in depth and so your pet can familiarize themselves with me before I care for them.

I’m happy to do whatever would make you feel most secure about entrusting your pet with me and I would care for your pet as if it were my own. In addition to any specific needs that you and I discuss, I’ll give your pets lots of attention and however much petting/snuggling they’re comfortable with, and send you detailed updates and pictures with each walk or visit.

Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Devon, and I’ve been a pet-lover and pet-haver my whole life. My parents show dogs, so I’ve been around dogs and puppies (up to 9 at a time!) since I was a little kid. I adore dogs big and small and have extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages and temperaments, including puppies. But despite my lifelong love for dogs, I actually consider myself a cat person at heart! I’m always the person at the party hanging out with the cat in the corner, and our cats Steve and Sophia are without a doubt the absolute loves of my life. I would love to walk your dogs or take care of dogs or cats in your home. I love to play with cats and walking around Astoria is my favorite hobby, so I’m excited for your pup to join me.
