“Sabrina took wonderful care of my dog. I had to book the boarding last minite, but Sabrina was very accommodating. She responded to my messages quickly and also kept sending me photos of how my dog was doing which gave me peace of mind. When I was picking him up, Sabrina explained in detail how he ate, slept, walked and behaved during the stay. This proved to me that Sabrina paid a lot of attention to my dog. Most dog sitters in my experience didn't share this much detail. I highly recommend Sabrina!”

“We unfortunately had to leave our new 2.5mo puppy for ten days only a couple weeks after adopting her. She was in the middle of housetraining which made us nervous but Adam was fantastic with her. He helped reinforce housetraining with Rey, gave her lots of attention, took her on good long walks, and kept us updated the whole week. Would definitely recommend Adam, especially for high energy puppies like ours.”

“Angela is an all-star sitter. We left our 1 year old pup with her for a long stay, and never once had to worry that he was in the right hands. She took care of his every need and shared lots of heart-warming updates with me. I know my dog Boots will be glad to see her again sometime soon :)”

“John and his family are absolutely amazing. I left Iroh with him for a full week and didn’t worry once! He sent pics and kept me updated throughout my trip, which really put my mind at ease! 100000/10 would recommend!!!”

“Lal took great care of my senior shih Tzu Oliver. She sent lots of pictures and videos throughout his stay and was always very responsive when I needed to contact her”

“Kiersten & Casey were (/are) amazing. Highly communicative, tons of photos, clearly massive dog lovers with lots of experience. Can’t say enough good things!”
“Leaving our dog is never easy, however Bridget made him feel right at home. She always kept us updated and sent us updates, pictures and videos all of the time. She has her own dog, so we were worried about how he’d react to coliving in another dogs home. We were told after a day, the two got along very well. Bridget was very cool about drop off/pick up times as well, as we dropped him off pretty late, since she had work. But we also picked him up pretty late, as our flight back was a little delayed. Overall, our dog came back happy and excited to see us and we could tell he was well taken care of. Thanks Bridget!”
“Our dog Chester loves Jelfri! It’s been his third time watching him and Chester feels right at home with Jelfri and his family. Great communication and frequent picture updates which we appreciate!”

“Best dog watcher I have ever had, felt 100% comfortable the whole week I was away and got regular updates which showed how much fun my dog had and how well taken care of he was - 10/10 recommend :)”

“Kecia did a great job with our Harper girl over a long weekend! She sent lots of pictures and updates so that we knew Harper was safe and happy. She went out of her way to make our pup comfortable. And - Harper loved the back yard!”

“Angela was an incredible sitter to my cat Mango! She kept me updated regularly, and treated Mango with lots of care during his stay. She was very thoughtful and kind person upon meeting her, and she is a pet parent herself therefore you can tell she is great with pets 😊 Very thankful I was able to get connected with Angela!”

“Ryan was a phenomenal sitter! He was quick to accept my last minute request. He was attentive and followed all my instructions while sending video and picture updates at my preferred cadence! Ryan is great with dogs and even offered a few toys and treats of his own while checking with me first to see if ok. Ryan was an amazing sitter and I plan to use him again!”

“Michelle is lovely and our dog was so happy to be with her for a week! We really appreciated that she was able to work from home so our dog wasn’t alone for too long. Michelle sent photos and updates daily. I would definitely book with her again.”

“Euitae was great with my puppy! Communicated with me well throughout the time, sent photos and videos. I felt comfortable leaving her with a new boarder and would work with Euitae again!”

“Anky was the best pet sitter I have ever used! She was so communicative and friendly and easy to work with. I know Georgia was so happy with her and I will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Max had a great time with Yinuo. Yinuo was great at sending updates and photos, taking Max on long walks and playing fetch. I felt incredibly rest assured and comfortable that Max was being well taken care of while I was away. Yinuo was so great at following all instructions and care details. I’d love to book with her again!”

“It was such a pleasure to find Jen while I was looking for a sitter to host my dog Rhino in their home during a last minute trip. I dropped off Rhino and knew pretty quickly that he was going to have a blast at his sleepover with Jen, and that he was in safe hands. She sent lots of updates and photos throughout the weekend, and seeing what activities Rhino was up to made me so happy. My flight back to NYC arrived very late, and Jen was really kind and understanding with allowing me to pickup at like 10pm on a Monday night. When I picked up Rhino he was obviously super in love with his new friend and watched the door to her house as we drove away, haha. He was actually quite sad the first few hours home, and I could tell he really missed Jen and her partner. I’m already thinking about his next sleepover with his new bffs, and I’m so thankful to Jen for being such an awesome aunt/momma for Rhino while I was away. She took amazing care of him and knows what she’s doing. Jen, we will be back and Rhino misses you so much! He will be so excited to visit his auntie Jen again soon :)”

“Qing took care of my two poms for a weeks and she was the best. She kept me inform about how their were doing, she sent me pictures and videos every single day during their daily walks. She went above and beyond on making sure they had a great time with her and kept me informed during their entire time. Thank you!!”

“David and his partner are great! Our dog had a fun time with lots of walks and play time at the dog park. We got regular pictures/updates and are so happy with the care our dog received.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Long Island City
Sashina was a life saver for me! When my Rover reservation canceled 2 days prior to my leaving on a 9 day vacation, I was stuck looking for a last minute replacement and Sashina came through for me! She was quick to respond and was very accommodating. We texted prior to meeting and I was very confident my expectations would be met. She did a great job! She provided me with daily updates and pictures. I felt like she treated my dog as a member of her family. I would use her again and highly recommend her!

Prachi and I had a meet and greet for my dog Gummi. She asked relevant and thoughtful questions about Gummi's typical routine and my expectations in terms of what I would be taking care of and what she should be doing. She also informed me that she only accepts one dog at a time, which I appreciate; while Gummi is a very sweet and patient girl who is very friendly with other dogs, we have had bad experiences with other dogs who were not well-behaved, so I do not like to have her with any unfamiliar dogs. During the booking, Prachi send many photos and updates of Gummi throughout the time. It was a hot day, and she made sure the AC was on and put ice in the water bowl so that Gummi would be comfortable. Will absolutely book with her again!

Yuliia was a great sitter! She treated our pups like they were her own, which is all I look for in a sitter. There was no shortage of walks, play time, and cuddles. She respected each of our dogs’ personalities and adjusted her care accordingly. And all the updates came with their own little narration which was super cute and very appreciated. Our puppies clearly had a blast with her!
