“I can not say how thankful I am for Angela watching my little Sophie! She was so accommodating and took very good care of her while I was out of town! I was kept very much in the loop and she sent me the most amazing photos of her too! I would definitely recommend Angela to any Rover user and would book her again in a heartbeat.”
“Sherry and Walter looked after our little puppy Figo for a night, and were fantastic sitters! They played with him, made him feel very comfortable with lots of snuggles, took him on a lovely walk and sent us lots of updates throughout. We’d recommend them highly!”

“Ashley was so amazing - she went above and beyond to make sure my dogs were cared for (especially when my little pup was having stomach issues unexpectedly). Nothing phased her and she was super communicative along the way. Can’t recommend her enough. Trust her 100%!”

“Matheus was amazing at watching our two dogs. He was constantly sending updates and photos, knew what they needed, and gave them their own little vacation! I am already planning on booking with him again and would trust him with my dogs anytime.”

“Each time we leave Nutmeg in Euitae’s hands we know she will receive the best care and love. She loves staying there and her walks in the park, and we love the photos, communication and updates.”

“Adam was great! It was the first time we were away from our puppy over night and we were very nervous. He took great care of her and sent us videos everyday! Will definitely use him again:)”

“I just left my 2 y/o Yorkie boy for a couple of hours as an introductory experience, and he was fine. Apparently had no problems with the other dogs there. Michael and his wife were very responsive and accommodating. I plan to use them again for an over night stay unless I find someone closer to me, and I recommend them.”

“I’m a kind of crazy pet parent with a 10 page dogsitting guide. Kiersten read the whole thing, remembered every detail, texted to make sure of things… She was amazing. Highly, highly recommended!”

“Lal took great care of my senior shih Tzu Oliver. She sent lots of pictures and videos throughout his stay and was always very responsive when I needed to contact her”

“Sabrina took wonderful care of my dog. I had to book the boarding last minite, but Sabrina was very accommodating. She responded to my messages quickly and also kept sending me photos of how my dog was doing which gave me peace of mind. When I was picking him up, Sabrina explained in detail how he ate, slept, walked and behaved during the stay. This proved to me that Sabrina paid a lot of attention to my dog. Most dog sitters in my experience didn't share this much detail. I highly recommend Sabrina!”

“Bridget really helped me out when I needed a last minute sitter! She was very quick to respond to all messages and sent photos throughout my dog’s stay with her. I would definitely use Bridget again.”

“Michelle is lovely and our dog was so happy to be with her for a week! We really appreciated that she was able to work from home so our dog wasn’t alone for too long. Michelle sent photos and updates daily. I would definitely book with her again.”

“Ryan was so kind and attentive to Poppy!! I had issues with my travel and ended up being away longer than I was supposed to and he cooked food for her!”

“Where to even begin? Onelsis gave A+++ care to Diggory and Dottie - if you want to go on a trip or vacation without worry, Onelsis is the person who will take care of your baby/babies like they are her own. Diggory and Dottie made themselves at home and enjoyed every minute with her, and I didn't have to worry about them even for a second while being OOT for over a week. They slept with her every night, she literally CARRIED Dottie (my little one who has refused to walk outside ever since she got a haircut) on morning and evening walks, and more - I know they will miss her a lot. What is even better is that though her care giving was like a mother, she treats her dog sitting very professionally - I received tons of updates daily, extremely detailed pre and closing messages for our booking, etc. She is a true pro - we will definitely be back!! Thank you Onelsis :)”

“Jelfri has become my go to when it comes to pet sitters for my dog when I’m out of town. He takes awesome care of Meatball and is always super responsive. Couldn’t recommend more!”

“We picked up our large malamute Junie and she was the calmest we had seen her, clearly very happy. Communication with Anton was very easy and he sent several pictures throughout the stay. Will book again!”

“David housed and took care of Elly while I was away for 15 days. He consistently updated me with photos and message about how Elly was doing, walked her regularly, and took her to the park numerous times. If Elly needs a sitter in the future, I hope David is available!”

“I have a high-energy rescue dog, so finding a sitter who can care for him can be challenging. MintZhet was super great for caring for Sanji. He sent daily messages and photos, and let us know if there were any changes to his routine, such as rainy days cutting his walks short, or changes in my dog's appetite, etc. Overall, great sitter and would definitely reach out again. Sanji had a great time.”

“Cannot endorse Lillian (and Picasso) enough! Chase and I have known both from the neighborhood for 2+ years and Lillian’s love, enthusiasm and understanding with the local pups was abundant. Chase just completed an awesome boarding stay and he is for sure still missing his adopted family. Lillian was patient and accommodating with some of Chase’s small quirks and scheduling adjustments when my flight was delayed. Chase had the time of his life and Lillian kept me updated with pics and funny stories of their adventures hanging out, walks and trips to the dog park. And of course Mr. Picasso is an awesome temporary step-bro—easily one of the sweetest, gentlest and most easy-going pups I’ve ever met. Huge thanks to Lillian & Picasso for caring for Chase so well and all the peace of mind while I was away 😁🐾🙏”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Long Island City
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Siara. My dog is my world, and I know that I am quite the worrisome helicopter pet parent. That being said, I trust Siara with my dog, Rosie, whole heartedly. Thank you, Siara, for all of your help watching Rosie this summer. She loves you and your family so much!!!

Susan was absolutely wonderful! Our Lenny is very shy and nervous around new people. Susan was so patient with Lenny during his overnight stay in her apartment. She sent us many updates and pictures knowing that Lenny was a bit anxious to be away from us. We would highly recommend Susan due to her warm nature and care for animals. We’re excited to have Lenny continue to build a relationship with her!

Remy had another great weekend with Ethel! She gave us a good recommendation for a pupsicle enrichment toy that Remy loved while boarding with her, we’re excited to buy one of our own for him. Loved her photo updates throughout the weekend as usual! Thanks again Ethel!

Deep and Imogen took great care of our senior Beagle mix, Saarinen. They sent a lot of photos and even helped him celebrate his 13th birthday! Their dog Leo is very sweet, and all three of them welcomed Saar into their home. Saar had a great time, and we would love to have him stay with them again.

Eunice took great care of my dog Maddox while I was traveling! The coordination and pre-meetup was seamless and she asked detailed questions to ensure that his routine was followed. I got regular updates from her about Maddox and he looked very happy to be in her care. She was also flexible with me for pick-up when I returned home from my trip.

We had such a great experience with William! He took amazing care of Jax while we were out of the country for a week. We got regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Jax was happy and well cared for, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We’ll definitely book again!

I can't recommend Pamela highly enough if you need a dog-sitter! During the meet & greet, it was clear that she loves dogs: her home is perfectly set up for pups, and she takes care to make sure that the dogs she watches are friendly & compatible. She sent pictures twice a day & quickly responded to every message I sent, and was accommodating with pick-up. If I ever need dog-sitting again, I'm definitely sending my guy back to his friends Pamela & Dudley.

Zach watched our dog for a week after a bit of a last-minute request, and we are so lucky he did. From the first meet-up he asked all the right questions, showed so much care for our dog, and was great with communication. Our dog had a great week with him and we appreciated Zach’s photos and updates. Will definitely be using him again.
Ruby had a wonderful stay with Rikki! She took such great care of Ruby and gave us regular updates throughout the weekend, which made it so much easier to relax while we were away. It was clear from the photos and messages that she genuinely cared about Ruby and made sure she was happy and comfortable. We would absolutely book with Rikki again and highly recommend her!

Duke loves spending time at Anthony’s place with his pug, Dulce, when we go out of town! As soon as we exit the train in his part of the neighborhood, Duke drags us straight to his place as fast as he can. This behavior alone tells us that he is both treated well and thoroughly enjoys his time there. Anthony and his girlfriend always sends us updates, photos and videos. Definitely recommend!

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
