About: Animals have always been a huge part of our lives. We started with 2 rescue cats, fostered a puppy together, and eventually adopted our dog Miki. With our little family, your pet is coming into a home that already has plenty of company. Caring for dogs has already been a regular part of our routines. This includes a mix of walks, daycare, and boarding, plus occasional drop-in visits for cats. Currently, Andrew is working from home full time, and Stacey is in the office 4 days a week but home every evening and weekend, so your dog will never be left alone. Both of us will be involved in their care throughout the day. We're located in LIC, right between Court Square and Queensboro Plaza, making drop-offs and pickups convenient. Drop-off & Pick-up: We keep things flexible! Drop off and pick up any time between 7:30am–9pm. We've used sitters for our pets as well, so we know how much trust goes into leaving your pet with someone. You can expect us to care for your pet the same way we'd want our pets cared for. “Nitisha was amazing with my dog while I was out of town! She was super understanding of my initial hesitation and made me feel completely at ease. About: I’ve cared for dogs through every stage of life—from energetic puppies who needed patience, consistency, and structure, to senior dogs who required extra attention, gentleness, and specialized care. Most recently, I helped care for my family’s dog throughout her senior years until the end of her life, which taught me the importance of compassion, patience, and paying attention to the small changes in a dog’s behavior and needs. I’m a very patient, responsible, and caring person, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. I also believe walks should be enjoyable for them, not just exercise, so I let dogs safely stop and sniff as much as they want. It’s great mental enrichment and lets them experience the world at their own pace. My goal is simple: to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, loved, and excited to spend time with me. I’m currently between jobs, so I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I care for. Rather than trying to fit walks or visits around a busy workday, I can focus on each dog’s routine, whether that’s longer walks, playtime, feeding schedules, medication, or simply providing companionship. I also recently lost my family’s dog, so I truly miss having a dog in my life. Pet sitting is a meaningful way for me to stay active, spend time outdoors, and give dogs the love and attention they deserve while helping provide peace of mind for their owners. I understand that every dog has different routines, personalities, and comfort levels, so I always take the time to follow the owner’s instructions carefully. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or a client’s home, I prioritize safety, consistency, and making the dog feel comfortable. During walks, I keep dogs securely leashed, avoid unsafe situations or interactions if needed, and pay close attention to their behavior and energy level. At home, I make sure they have fresh water, follow feeding and medication schedules exactly, provide plenty of attention and enrichment, and keep the environment clean and safe. I also believe communication is important, so I’ll keep owners updated with photos and messages so they know their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while they’re away.
“Incredibly kind and caring to animals. Thanks so much for taking care of my puppy and being amazingly communicative and generous with your time and energy. She had a wonderful time!”

“Giulia and her family were absolutely fantastic! We will be rebooking many more stays... I was almost tempted not to leave a review so they don't get all booked out and have availability for us again. Thank you Giulia, we really appreciated how well you cared for our little Stella - I knew she almost wouldn't want to come back home 😊”

“Elena was able to take Kiwi last minute while I had a family emergency. Not only was she able to step in, she did an amazing job with Kiwi. I knew Kiwi was safe, all her meds were given to her exactly as needed and she got all of her daily walks! I got updates and pictures, Kiwi had a great time with her 🩷 I would absolutely use Elena again, I feel lucky to have found her. I highly recommend Elena for any pup but she did especially great with my sensitive, high maintenance girl.”
“Angela is amazing! She was in touch everyday and shared pictures of my baby while we were away. She is patient and kind. All of the feeding supplies were returned clean and neatly organized. I would highly recommend her and would book her services again in the future.”

“Tingli and Samuel are AWESOME! Cleo loves spending time with them and always leaves calm and relaxed as a husky can be! Most definitely recommend them!”

“He is so sweet. He sent me photos of my puppy in real time which made me relief during trip. My puppy looked like she had so much fun with Huba and him. Thank you!”

“Heejin and Hamilton were absolutely wonderful! They took fantastic care of my new rescue pup for 11 days, braving multiple downpours with him (and he hates rain), letting him sleep in their laps and generally keeping him warm, clean, comfy and happy. They sent great updates daily, along with cute photos and were very responsive to any questions. They even taught him a trick! Potato is looking forward to his next staycation with Heejin and Hamilton :)”

“Minnie is absolutely amazing and took the best care of my dog while I was out of town. She sent videos and photos daily, and seeing how happy my dog was with her made me feel so reassured! It’s very obvious that Minnie is a detailed caretaker, she adhered to all the notes I left her without any issues. I just know my dog misses her so much! We definitely would use Minnie again in the future, I very strongly recommend her!”

“Jieun & Carey are the absolute best. Kona had the best time with them when my family and I left for a quick vacation for 4 days. They were very communicative with updates and anytime we had questions. They take care of your dog just like it were their own. Would definitely have them watch Kona again.”

“Wes was excellent! We left Oreo with him for 18 days and my dog was very happy. When my flight got cancelled, Wes was very accommodating and he stayed with Oreo one more night. Thanks for everything, Wes!”

About: I’ve been a proud Yorkie mom for 11 years now and have cared for dogs and cats my entire life. Growing up with pets taught me the importance of responsibility and understanding each animal’s unique personality and needs. I’m experienced with small and giant dogs, daily routines, companionship, and providing a safe home environment. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I work only three days a week, which allows me to be home often and provide companionship, and care for your dog. I’m happy to accommodate different routines and schedules with advance notice. I live in a pet-friendly building with a closed backyard area, rooftop space, and a fenced dog park just a 5-minute walk away. Dogs are welcome to relax, play, and feel at home during their stay. I understand that every pet has their own habits, and I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for during their stay.

“Onur was so friendly and welcoming with our dog. She is getting a bit old and needs more careful attention/care and Onur was very on top of everything. Especially he communicated with us and sent us a lot of photos. Thanks!!!!”

About: Cats have always been a big part of our lives. Stacey grew up with cats and when she moved out on her own, adopting Ro just felt right, and Charlie came along not too long after. Andrew volunteered with the local feral cat feeders in LIC every week for the past two years. Rain, snow, or heat, he's out there making sure they're fed and cared for. Together, we've also looked after cats in our neighborhood through drop-in visits. We’re attentive to each cat’s needs and boundaries, and we provide thorough care: deep litter cleanings and refills, washing water and food bowls, keeping fresh water available, monitoring meals, and cleaning up any hairballs we find along the way.

“Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my Stormy! ❤️ Erma had excellent communication and kept me updated throughout my entire vacation, which gave me so much peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter. Thank you again!”

“Simon was great. He came to our house before the first booking to meet our cat, Frankie, and to talk about our needs. Very good communication and he did everything we asked. The updates after each visit made it clear that Frankie was in good hands. We would book Simon again in a heartbeat.”

“Great communication with Nina. She was incredibly reliable, followed the instructions I left well and sent me photos. My cat Momo seemed happy to have her company! Would certainly use Nina again!”

“Charlie was amazing! I was away for ten days and was so worried about leaving my cat. But Charlie was incredibly communicative from start to finish, very easy to work with, and my cat absolutely loved him. I absolutely recommend Charlie and will 100% book with him again.”

“Liam was so great. He left me daily notes of how my cat was doing, and sent amazing pictures that always made my day. Liam is the best cat-sitter I’ve met, and I would definitely recommend him!”

“Christie was very caring and nice to my two kitties while I was gone for the recent business trip! Will definitely work with her again for future trips and recommend her to be your cat sitter as well!”

“Emily took excellent care of our cat for the second time. She was very responsive and adapted to our cat's needs during a heat wave. Will definitely book her again!”

“Jenna looked after my cats while we traveled for the holidays. She sent many photos and videos. I feel anxiety when I leave my cats at home but Jenna’s daily updates showing how she takes care of them and play with them puts me at ease. I look forward to the update every day!”

“Katherine is amazing!!!! So so communicative, sweet and caring towards my kitty. She genuinely did such a great job and I will definitely be contacting her again if I go out of town! Please consider Katherine!”

“Adam is a super experienced cat sitter :) spent a lot of time with my cat and made him very happy. My flight coming back to New York was delayed and I had to message him last minute to see if he’s able to make one extra visit. Adam got back to me in no time and took care of my cat! Both me and my cat are very grateful”

“Mary is the best!! She was able to help us out for a last minute trip which relieved our stress a great deal, and did an amazing job. Our cat loved her and Mary kept us up to date with detailed notes about each visit. We knew our pet was in good hands!! I can’t recommend Mary enough, she is a gem!”

“Third time booking with Lisa! She took care of Professor Persimmon with her usual kindness and attention to detail. She found he had knocked over the toilet paper roll (classic) and put it somewhere out of reach! Communicative and lots of pictures. Thanks for playing with the Professor!”

“Angelica is a fantastic pet setter!! She expertly cared for our two cats while on vacation. She is attentive, thorough and detail oriented, followed instructions perfectly and sent thoughtful updates. She went above and beyond to make our cats and us comfortable. We will definitely reach out again!”

“Chloe was fantastic! We booked her last minute, and she made everything easy and completely stress-free. She was flexible with timing, super communicative, and sent thoughtful updates and photos every day. Both cats clearly adored her (even our shy one came out right away). She also kept an eye on our plants and even sorted out a small water issue during a heavy rainstorm. We felt so reassured knowing the boys were in such good hands—absolutely 5 stars and highly recommended!”

“Stacey and Andrew were fantastic with my girl, Sol! 💕 They sent regular photo updates, kept me in the loop throughout her stay, and were incredibly helpful when I needed care on short notice. The best part was seeing how comfortable Sol was with them! Every photo made it clear she was happy, relaxed, and getting plenty of love (I think she spent most of the stay on Stacey's lap! 🤣). I'd absolutely trust Stacey and Andrew with Sol again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, reliable sitters. Thank you!”

“I can't say enough great things about Seung! He took care of my dog, Hunter, as if he were his own. Not only did Seung make sure Hunter was happy and well-cared for, but he also went above and beyond in every way. He didn’t just stick to the basics — Seung brought Hunter along for errands (which Hunter loved), took him on exciting trips to the dog park, and made sure he got plenty of exercise and attention. It was clear from the updates and photos that Hunter was having an amazing time and was completely comfortable with Seung. I felt totally at ease knowing my dog was in such kind, attentive, and capable hands.”

“Laura was great to work with and very responsive. I got lots of nice videos and photos of Willa throughout the day and thought she was in great hands!”

“Zemei is amazing! She’s taken great care of Bambino while I’m away at work. I could tell he felt very comfortable and happy in her home, which gave me total peace of mind. Highly recommend!”

“Olga and Rob were amazing with Tanner, a sweet rescue shepherd mix with a lot of separation anxiety - they were so gentle with him in helping him calm down and settle in at their place. They sent updates and photos to me and made him feel so comfortable, as did their sweet dog Moose. I’m grateful we found them, and can’t wait to book with them again!”
“Wei and Chloe took such wonderful care of Ziggy. So communicative, accommodating and helpful. They also sent regular photos throughout Ziggy's visit. I can tell they are dog lovers, and my dog definitely enjoyed his stay. I wouldn't hesitate to send Ziggy back for another visit, and can recommend them to other dog owners without hesitation!”

“Melissa was responsive to my messages as a new Rover customer. She looked after my dog well and was able to accommodate on short notice. Her home is very clean and spacious living room for my small dog to walk around. I recommend her.”

“Angelina and Donald took wonderful care of my two Vizslas. I could not be happier. I was visiting New York for the day and needed someone to look after my two very active dogs for the afternoon. I was a little nervous about leaving them because they can be a lot to handle and are not accustomed to the city, but I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Angelina and Donald took them on a five-hour adventure through Central Park and then east to Andrew Haswell Green Park. Angelina sent photos throughout the walk, so I could see how much fun they were having. She also fed them exactly as requested and had them ready when I arrived for pickup. The dogs were tired, happy, and clearly adored Angelina and Donald. I will definitely book with Angelina again the next time I am in the city.”

About: I grew up in my grandmother’s home for part of my childhood with her two Shitzu’s. I was exposed to dogs at a young and fell in love ever since. When I was in high school, we got our family dog, a Papillion named Callie - who I sadly don’t see as often anymore. Last year, I brought home my first dog - Cherry who is also a 1 year old Papillon. I also have experience with larger size dogs (up to 45 pounds) because I have fostered here and there whenever I got the chance. Although my weekdays are busy, I am available to watch your fur baby most weekends for sitting or for boarding unless indicated otherwise on my calendar. I live in a studio apartment, but have access to a fenced dog park on the second floor of my apartment building for quick potty breaks. I also can take the dogs on longer or more frequent walks (able to cater toward each dog).
“Angelica is great with our dogs and responsive. She even helps wipe their paws after the walk and makes sure they have water at home. She’s wonderful!”

“MintZhet does a great job of caring for my foster pup Clyde who both has a lot of energy and is easily overstimulated by the busy neighborhood. Mint is able to redirect in an effective and respectful way for Clyde who gets easily fixated. Mint also follows what may seem like overly complicated protocols for a dog walk but helps ensure safety and confidence. Thank you, Mint!”

“Karina made Miki’s first walk in her new neighborhood easygoing and stress-free. Karina provided a comforting presence to not only Miki but us as well, and we will definitely continue to book with her in the future.”

“I had a last-minute request and was thrilled that Victoria could step in to help. She took the time to meet Tino beforehand, and her communication was fantastic from start to finish. After meeting her, I felt completely confident that Tino was in great hands. She kept me updated with plenty of photos and videos, which I truly appreciated. Highly recommend her care!”

“Yidi was great with Sammy! My dog can be standoffish at first, but Yidi was patient with her and by the second walk she was already more comfortable and walking more/further from home. Yidi is also very responsive and easy to communicate with, we would gladly use his services again!”

“Sharon is wonderful! It’s been so helpful to have a dog walker that I can trust while I am in the office. She is kind, communicative, and conscientious - a pleasure to work with!”

“Jenna very graciously helped me out with two last minute dog walks. She was super friendly, great with my pup, on-time and reliable, and communicative. Would highly recommend her!”

About: Growing up, I took care of two (awesome) dogs for as long as I can remember. Having these mini companions was definitely a part of my childhood that I would never change, and I believe it aided in shaping the person I am today. Today, I have two dogs that my partner and I have raised from puppies! I'm experienced with caring for pets of all ages! I am hard-working, dedicated, and committed to making sure you and your pet have the best possible experience! A bit about me, I am also pretty energetic and love to exercise, so taking your dog for a walk or even a run is not a problem at all. I am currently located in the LIC area! I will always find time to make sure your pet is getting properly cared for while you are away. I currently am between jobs and needing some extra dog love! I can be flexible with what works for everyone involved, as consistency is best for dog and owner. I have two boy dogs at home, so not taking any clients here unless we do a meet and greet first ! They're both very friendly. Otherwise, I'm committed to keeping routine as normal as possible for your pet.

“Dukkyu has been a great, reliable dog walker for my dog, Holly. He arrives on time, is very responsive, and best of all - my pup loves him! He is great with animals and I highly recommend him.”

Thanks!!!!”

“Jen is amazing! She took care of my two senior dogs, Mister (13) and Nola (14) for two weeks while we were away on vacation. I was really nervous to use rover because they’ve never stayed with strangers before but Jen made me feel at ease at our meet and greet. The dogs made themselves right at home when we dropped the off. She made sure to send us tons of pictures and updates on what they were doing and how they were eating. It felt like we never really left them behind. When we I went to pick them up I could tell they really enjoyed their time there and got a good amount of play time and exercise. 10/10 experience for myself and the pups. I couldn’t recommend Jen more. Thanks again!!”
“Another fantastic stay with Stella! I'm so grateful for all of the thoughtful photos, videos, and updates she provides when my Stella is in her care. My girl came home satisfied and tired -- signs of a great trip!”

“Lilian was a truly amazing with our boy! She kept us updated with videos and pictures the entire time!! Maverick truly loved her! He was at home and truly felt secure with her! She is a true gem with our Maverick!”

“Rafal was so good to Odin and we're so happy to have found him. He took Odin on long walks and updated us with photos the whole time. It was super easy making plans with him and we didn't worry Odin wouldn't have enough attention, Rafal and his wife we're so welcoming to him. He let us know Odin wasn't eating and he made time to get wet food and found his brand:) Not only did we come back to a well fed and happy dog, Rafal was so kind to give us some fresh harvested grapes from his vines too! Great all around!”

About: I’ve been a dog walker and dog/cat sitter for about three years now and absolutely love it. I walk dogs of all ages and sizes, from super social dogs who love everyone and everything to those who are more shy or reactive and might need some time warming up to me. I have ample experience in taking care of pets who need medication and other specialized care. I pride myself on being reliable, responsible, and communicative while looking after your pets and also making sure they have the best time they can with me! At this point I’m dog walking full time and can likely fit your pet into my schedule. I’m also available on the weekends and some holidays. While boarding dogs at my home, I keep my 2 cats upstairs in the bedroom with door closed for the duration of your dogs stay. The dog will have the downstairs to roam free and we have a crate if need be. I also have a video camera set up so even if I’m out walking another clients dog I can still watch them. While sitting at the clients home, I am very respectful of the space and try my best to keep the dogs schedule and daily life the same as it is normally. Happy to bring up packages, let in cleaners, and handle other home responsibilities while you are out of town.

About: Lifelong dog lover, our family always had a dog in the house. I have tons of experience with dogs of different temperaments. My dog Omar, who I had for 11 years, was a high-energy Samoyed. We've got an enclosed backyard big enough to run around / dig some holes, and I'm a couple of blocks from McCarren Park. I work full time, remotely as needed with a flexible schedule. I'm usually gone from 10am-6pm, but am able to adjust based on your pet's needs. We've got a fully enclosed backyard and are two blocks from McCarren Park. My apartment is fairly spacious. I have a crate if necessary. We're next door to PS9 Pets as well, so can pop over for supplies and treats.
