I’ve cared for my own senior dog for 13+ years, which has given me extensive experience with patience, consistency, and understanding different needs as dogs age. I’ve also watched pets for friends and family over the years and truly treat every dog like my own. Growing up surrounded by animals helped me develop a natural comfort and love for caring for pets.

Alyssa is fabulous. She was very quick to respond throughout the booking process and during our pup's stay with her. Our dog was with her a full week and we received photos and short updates every morning. We could tell that our pup was happy and getting walks, playtime, and lots of belly rubs. I appreciated Alyssa's willingness to meet in person briefly, ahead of having her watch our dog. She's great--I hope to rebook with her again!
Alyssa watched our dog for 4 nights and did an amazing job! She was very responsive and sent pictures of the dog everyday, which gave us peace of mind during our vacation. Would definitely recommend her services!

Schedule
I’m available for boarding throughout the week, as well as most weekends and holidays. I keep my schedule up to date and respond quickly to requests.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a safe, clean, and calm home environment where pets are always supervised and treated like family. I live in a secure elevator building with a doorman, which adds an extra layer of safety and convenience. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, and any special instructions. I’m experienced with senior dogs and comfortable administering medication if needed. I prioritize consistency, safety, and clear communication, and I provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

A typical day
I love keeping pets active, happy, and mentally engaged while they’re in my care, with relaxed neighborhood walks that let them explore and sniff at their own pace, and if it’s a good fit and owner approved, trips to Carl Schurz Park for fresh air and a change of scenery. I also spend time playing with their favorite toys, and of course plenty of belly rubs and affection, while making sure to balance all that activity with calm time so they feel comfortable, safe, and truly cared for.
