WFH Sitter: More walks, play & fun!
I've been a dog person my whole life! It started with Salem, my cocker spaniel, after begging my mom for a dog he turned our household into a dog family for good. Indie, Juneau and Luna followed, and between them (plus a rotating cast of cats & dogs), I learned early how to do simple training, have patience, read a pup's mood, match their energy, and love every personality that walks through the door. These days, I'm the go-to friend whenever someone needs their dog watched while they're out of town. I've done enough drop-offs, pickups, and "please send photos!" text threads to know that leaving your dog with someone new can feel a little nerve-wracking. My goal is always to make it easy: frequent updates, lots of photos, and a dog who's tired, happy, and well-loved by the time you're back. My setup in Long Island City is genuinely dog-paradise. I live directly across the street from a dog park (hello, instant zoomies) and just a few minutes' walk from the East River, so there's no shortage of sniff spots, long walks, and social time. My apartment is a spacious 2-bedroom (big by New York standards) which means your pup has room to stretch out, play, and, if they insist, claim their very own bedroom. The best part: I work from home full-time on my own schedule, so your dog is never left alone for long stretches. That means more mid-morning walks, more belly rubs between meetings, more playtime, and probably a shared afternoon nap or two. Whether your dog is a high-energy explorer or a devoted couch companion, they'll fit right in here. Can't wait to meet your pup!

Ryan was an excellent sitter for my senior dog, Maui, who was going through a stomach issue under his care. Ryan was very caring, professional, and easygoing. informative updates, stress free communication, and top notch care, I felt like my dog was safe, looked after, and well loved under his care. You can tell that Ryan understands dogs and puts a lot of effort into their care. Will definitely book again.

Ryan is hands-down the most reliable dog walker we’ve ever worked with. He cared for our dogs Bailey and Pepper, who couldn’t be more different. Bailey has a bigger personality than most people I know, and Pepper just needs to run. I never had to worry for a single second about either of them. Ryan is exceptionally communicative and responsive, which made everything so much easier for us. Schedule
I work from home full-time on my own schedule, which means your dog gets tons of attention. Mornings usually start with a walk and breakfast, followed by play time between meetings. Midday is a longer walk if needed with plenty of check-ins. Evenings are for another walk, dinner, and winding down on the couch. Weekends are even more flexible, with extra time for longer adventures, extended play sessions, and whatever your pup loves most. I can easily accommodate feeding times, medication schedules, and specific routines your dog is used to at home.

In my home, your dog is never left alone for long stretches. I'm around throughout the day to keep an eye on them, stick to their routine, and make sure they feel comfortable. My apartment is a spacious 2-bedroom in Long Island City, directly across from a dog park and just a few minutes from the East River, so there's plenty of safe space both inside and out. I keep the home pet-proofed, food and medications stored securely, and. In owners' homes, I respect your space like it's my own following your house rules, sticking to your dog's normal routine, locking up when I leave, and sending regular photo and text updates so you always know your pup (and your home) are in good hands.
A typical day
Walks, fetch, outdoor coffee shop exploring and plenty of naps. Between work and other life activities, your pup is well taken care of with plenty to do and explore!
