He asked all the right questions about our boy's needs from the get-go (he's a large senior dog with arthritis) and gave me frequent updates and pictures of how he was doing. He walked our boy judiciously and gave him all of his food and medications just as we would. He was wonderful. It was such a relief knowing that our boy was in such capable, caring hands. We're in town for work but are lucky enough to have weekends off. We picked our boy up today and he looked so happy and healthy. Michael did such a great job that we're going to utilize his services again next week. I just can't say enough good things about him.”

About: I've been taking care of pets since the time I could walk. My own dogs are two small white ones (4 and 6), but I have extensive experience with pets of all sizes and ages. Neighbors and colleagues have trusted me with their daschunds, terriers, pitbulls, malteses, bichons, dalmations, basset hounds, and spaniels too. I raised two litters of puppies to adoption and saw a very old dog through her roughest days. I can care for other animals too. I kept a veritable menagerie – two cockatiels, two rabbits, a guinea pig, and a bichon – happy and healthy for a full two months while the family was traveling. I work remotely and I live right on the end of the path train line which means I can get anywhere in the city on a moment’s notice. Thus, I have the time and ability to give your fur-babies with the consistency and love that they deserve. About: Pets have been a huge part of my life, caring for them within my family or through friends. I love to walk, run and play to keep them active as I can. I also have experience in dog sitting puppies, big dogs and older dogs! I work a hybrid schedule, spending 3 days a week at the office in NYC and the rest of the week at home in Hoboken. On remote days, I’m flexible to take pups out for long walks and breaks. I’m also available for overnight stays throughout the week if you need! “Arlo is a rescue who we adopted in mid-December and his 3 night stay with Melissa was his first time away from us. I had her and Arlo meet in advance for a casual walk in a city park the week before so she wouldn't be a complete stranger. He naturally was anxious when we dropped him off, but from the many photos and videos she passed along, he seemed happy and comfortable. And my husband and I also were very pleased with how she cared for him. Her apartment was inviting and provided him with cozy places (Arlo weighs 13 pounds). I feel lucky that we found Melissa and would definitely have Arlo stay with her ags ain.”
