“I genuinely can’t say enough good things about Grace and Taha! Mowgli is a super friendly but VERY energetic one-year-old pup with absolutely no concept of personal space. This was his first time staying with a sitter other than his original trainer, and since I was leaving him for 10 days, I was pretty nervous. I spoke with several sitters before choosing Grace and Taha, and I’m incredibly glad I did. From the start, Grace was responsive and reassuring, even after I warned her that Mowgli can be a handful. Throughout his stay, they treated him like their own—following all my instructions, brushing him regularly, taking him on tons of walks and dog-park trips, and bringing him along with them. They also sent multiple photos, videos, and updates every day. He looked so happy that I genuinely started wondering if he’d want to come home! Around day six or seven, I asked if he’d had any accidents and found out he’d already had three. They hadn’t even felt the need to bother me about them, and when I apologized, they simply said he’s a puppy and it’s no big deal. That says a lot about how patient and experienced they are. An unexpected bonus: Grace is an amazing photographer. The photos and videos she sent were incredible, and she even offered to upload everything to a Drive for me afterward. I’m incredibly grateful I found them. Grace and Taha will absolutely be my first choice whenever I travel going forward, for Mowgli and my other dog as well. I’d recommend them without hesitation. About: I've been taking care of pets since the time I could walk. My own dogs are two small white ones (4 and 6), but I have extensive experience with pets of all sizes and ages. Neighbors and colleagues have trusted me with their daschunds, terriers, pitbulls, malteses, bichons, dalmations, basset hounds, and spaniels too. I raised two litters of puppies to adoption and saw a very old dog through her roughest days. I can care for other animals too. I kept a veritable menagerie – two cockatiels, two rabbits, a guinea pig, and a bichon – happy and healthy for a full two months while the family was traveling. I work remotely and I live right on the end of the path train line which means I can get anywhere in the city on a moment’s notice. Thus, I have the time and ability to give your fur-babies with the consistency and love that they deserve. At this time, I can’t bring more animals into my apartment but I can walk, feed, snuggle, play with and entertain your pets from the comfort of their own home.

About: I’ve been fostering cats for over 3 years (so far I’ve had a total of 10 cats in my care)! I’ve also babysat my friend’s dog several times (mainly overnight visits but also a couple drop-ins). My sister has a dog that I’ve also watched and spent a lot of time with. While I haven’t pulled the trigger yet and adopted a dog or cat (or both!), I truly enjoy spending time with these furry creatures. I treat your animal as if it’s my own, giving them my full attention and love I fully work from home in a 9 to 5 job with a lot of flexibility, so I’m able to step out for drop-in in your home or to give a lot of attention to your pet if boarding in my home. I own my condo so no worries about an overbearing landlord. I live on a quiet block with no neighbors above or next door to me, so overall a calm apartment to live in. Note that I am on the fourth floor, so three flights of stairs are involved. If your dog has trouble with stairs, my place may not be the best choice. I have around 800 square feet of space for your pet to explore and I also live within a 10 minute walk to 2 different dog parks.

As a dog mom, I wanted someone who would care for my baby the way I do, and she exceeded every expectation. She cared for my dog for four days and kept me updated the entire time.
