I've been around dogs my entire life, growing up with family pets gave me an early foundation in reading dog behavior & understanding different temperaments. For the past 4 years, I've been the caretaker of my Morkie, handling everything from daily care and training to vet coordination and health monitoring. I've also informally cared for friends' and neighbors' pets. I'm experienced with the specific needs of toy and small breeds: their sensitivity to temperature, their tendency to be vocal, and how to keep them calm in a new environment. I’m dedicated to pet care full-time, so I can give your pup the attention and companionship they deserve throughout the day. I’m also big on playtime, walks, cuddles, and keeping your dog’s normal routine as consistent as possible. What I offer: *Drop-In Visits: A fun little visit packed with playtime, cuddles, and plenty of love while you’re away *Boarding: Your pup’s home away from home, with all day love, playtime, walks, cuddles, and plenty of belly rubs! *Day Care: A full day of play, walks, cuddles, and nonstop companionship so your pup never feels bored or lonely!

Marshay was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Pepper! I felt completely comfortable leaving Pepper in her care while I was on vacation. She was attentive, loving, responsible, and kept me updated, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Most importantly, Pepper absolutely loved her and was so happy and comfortable with Marshay. Marshay is a devoted dog mom and a lover of pets! She has experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, having grown up with Cane Corsos as family pets and now with her beloved Maltese, Jiggly. She has pet sat for me on multiple occasions and taken exceptional care of my 5-year old Rottweiler. She ensured my dog went on multiple walks a day, fed her meals on time, stuck to her general routine, and provided regular updates! Schedule
I'm available full-time, which means pet care isn't squeezed around a commute or an office schedule since it's built into my day. Dogs in my care get regular bathroom breaks every 2–4 hours, consistent feeding if needed, midday playtime, and someone present in the apartment throughout the day. I'm also available for boarding or extended day care. I keep a predictable, calm routine, which small dogs especially tend to respond well to since I have to keep a consistent schedule for my own little dog.

Safety, trust & environment
My Dumbo apartment is a dog proofed environment sized for small breeds. Cords are secured, hazardous items are out of reach, and there's no access to areas that aren't safe. My 5-pound Morkie lives here so the space is already calibrated for a dog's needs. I accept small & medium breeds only to keep the energy and size dynamic appropriate for everyone in our 2 bedroom loft. Before any stay or daycare visit, I welcome a meet-and-greet so your dog can get familiar with the space before their first official visit. You'll receive photo updates throughout every visit or stay. I communicate proactively, I know what it's like to leave your dog with a friend or neighbor so I send photos often. I'll follow your care notes precisely and ask questions upfront rather than guess. I over-communicate because that's how I like it when people watch my dog too!

A typical day
Every day is a little different depending on your pup’s personality and routine, but you can expect plenty of walks and attention. We’ll get outside for fresh air and exercise, the dogs like to play on our enclosed terrace, for lots of play throughout the day. Of course I make time for naps and downtime too. I’m home full time, so your pup gets lots of companionship.
