“Michelle was great with Maggie. It takes a little while for Maggie to warm up to people but within 2 meetings Maggie was getting comfortable. Will definitely book again. Highly appreciated and recommend”

“Elizabeth first watched our cat, Faye, back in 2019. We ended up moving out of the area and were so bummed since Faye was really comfortable with her, despite being a pretty shy and stand-offish cat. We recently moved back and were thrilled to see Elizabeth was still on Rover! We booked her for 3-days of drop in visits for Faye and Ursula (our newest addition), and she was just as amazing as we remembered. She was extremely communicative, was not afraid to ask questions if she was unsure of something, and provided plenty of pictures and videos. We came back to 2 very happy kitties. We’re so thrilled that there are people like Elizabeth out there who care for our pets like we do, and would highly recommend her services to anyone.”

About: I love dogs of all types and have two dogs of my own- a mini Australian Shepard and a Catahoula. I had experience in training, raising, and grooming them, and also love taking care of dogs from family and friends. They are a joy to take care of and I can’t wait to be the next caretaker of your dog soon! I am currently working part time and am flexible in my schedule, especially on the weekends, and can care for your pet during the day and overnight if needed. I have lots of square footage indoors and outdoors for your pet to play with, complete with a large fenced yard for safety and perfect for playing fetch! I also have two medium sized dogs that are very friendly and love playing with other dogs.
“Thank you, Brianna, for taking care of my elderly cats for two weeks! Usually, when I leave them, they get upset and could pee all over and make a mess. At this time, I came back to the clean apartment, and my cats were healthy and cheerful 😻.”
About: I have been professionally caring for animals for over 10 years. I am a veterinary student at Long Island University working to become a veterinarian! I offer house sitting and drop in visits, and feel comfortable with dogs, cats, and exotics of all sizes and ages. If necessary, I can administer medication or give insulin injections. For house sitting, I can also take care of plants or bring in mail along with caring for the animals. I have a flexible work schedule and can give medical attention to animals if needed. I make any pets I'm watching a complete priority while they are in my care and I can also take professional photos during my visits that can be printed for your home. I am COVID vaccinated, rabies vaccinated, and fear-free certified! My schedule is very flexible! I am fortunate to have open availability for pet care, aside from a few hours a day for in-person classes. I am very engaged with the pets while I am staying with them and will make sure they get any exercise or affection they want!
About: I have loved animals since I was a little girl. Growing up, I cared for many different pets, from chickens and bunnies to fish. While I specialize in caring for cats now, I have a very big heart for all animals. I am a very patient and gentle person, and I always treat every pet I visit with the same love and care I give to my own family! I have plenty of time during the week to visit your cats! On Mondays and Wednesdays, I am available in the afternoon from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I am free all day until 4:30 PM. While I am busy from Friday to Sunday, I love spending my weekdays making sure your fur-babies are happy, fed, and loved! I only provide drop-in visits because I believe cats feel safest in their own homes. When I visit, I am very careful and respectful of your space. I make sure all doors are secure, water is fresh, and the litter box is clean. Most importantly, I spend quality time playing with and petting your cats so they don't feel lonely. I always send photos and updates after every visit so you can see that your home and your pets are in good hands!

“This was the fifth time that Yingyan has done drop in visits for our four kitties and she has been wonderful every time! She sends photos and videos of them and gives me updates on any changes to their eating habits. Of the four cats, two are super shy but the other two are more comfortable with people and give Yingyan a warm greeting when she does the drop in visit. I would highly recommend her!!”

About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. I am also very trust worthy, organized, communicative, and extremely eager to work with you!

“Shibo was absolutely amazing! I have two male cats, and one of them I had just adopted 10 days before leaving for my trip. He was very skittish when I first got him, but he warmed up to Shibo right away. My other cat took a liking to him immediately as well—who wouldn’t! Shibo was so wonderful, giving my cats the attention they needed while I was away. In the past, I relied on neighbors and people just stopping by to feed and check on them, but my experience with Shibo has completely changed my perspective. It is worth every penny to have someone as great as him looking after your fur babies! When I returned, I could see the difference in my fluffy companions in the best way as this is very early in their introduction phase. I had peace of mind knowing they were well cared for. Shibo provided fantastic updates and beautiful photos, making it clear that my cats had a wonderful time with their new friend. I have full trust in Shibo as I also came home to find everything exactly as I expected. I highly recommend Shibo for anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter! Especially cats.”

Shirley has establish a great rapport with my 2 cats. Both of my 2 cats enjoy playing hide and seek. For the first time , my youngest was waiting for Shirley on the windowsill. Shirley has the patience to coax them out hiding. If they could both talk it would be "we want Shirley as our sitter so Mom and Dad you can both relax and enjoy without any worries." 5 STARS and I agree!!!

Kathryn is a great pet carer, she did an amazing job taking care of Oreo during our trip. We really appreciated the updates and photos from her drop-in visits. It gave us such peace of mind knowing Oreo was in such capable and caring hands. We will definitely be booking again!

Natalia was wonderful, great communication, she let us know when our cat was not eating a whole lot then did what she could to help encourage her to eat more which worked. She send us picture updates and played with the cat as requested. I was very happy with her service, would highly reccommend!
