“This was the fifth time that Yingyan has done drop in visits for our four kitties and she has been wonderful every time! She sends photos and videos of them and gives me updates on any changes to their eating habits. Of the four cats, two are super shy but the other two are more comfortable with people and give Yingyan a warm greeting when she does the drop in visit. I would highly recommend her!!”

About: I like to joke that I was “raised by Rottweilers,” because at three months old my parents delivered a litter of rottie pups. We always had rotties growing up until we got into rescuing mastiffs. I’ve been involved in rescue work since I was very young, and caring for animals is just second nature to me. My 7-year-old special-needs pup, Blake, is my heart. He’s been with me since I rescued him as a tiny puppy off the streets of Puerto Rico. More recently, we welcomed Jet, a bouncy heeler mix who keeps us all on our toes with his endless energy! Seeing Blake and Jet as my fur babies means I understand firsthand the patience and attention it takes to care for dogs with very different needs. Anything from managing medical routines to channeling playful energy - I have it covered. I treat every pet like family, because that’s exactly what they are to me. I work full-time from home, so my schedule is very flexible. My dogs get a quick morning walk around Powderhorn, followed by regular potty breaks in the yard and a longer hour+ walk/hike after 3pm. I live in a townhouse community with an unfenced yard that is great for playing fetch and running. Otherwise, as most Jackson locals, I am often on the local trails, or the Snake River Levee, making sure animals in my care get plenty of exercise and socialization!

About: I have a love for pets of all kinds and have been taking care of dogs and cats of friends and family for five years now. I have experiences with pets of all ages and levels of care required. I have basic knowledge of animal behavior and am capable to understand your pets and make sure they remain happy and healthy while in my care. I’m able to pet sit during the day Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. I am available evenings in Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. I am also open to long stays if needed. I am very attentive to your pets needs and am willing and capable to make them as happy and comfortable as possible! Any specific requirements or needs you pet has I am willing to accommodate and work with.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats- near and far- for a while now. I have experience with all kinds of dogs and cats- breeds and size combined. I am available for dog walking/sitting any time before 9 AM and after 5 PM on weekdays and any time on weekends! Just let me know a little in advanced and I will do my best to accommodate you. I have a fenced in backyard, as well as a pen for my puppy to keep him safe and happy. He enjoys running around outside in the backyard and I know he will be safe because it is fenced in.

I continue to take excellent care of every dog ​​that visits, making them feel comfortable and relaxed within about five minutes, just like they would at home. About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable.
