About: I have owned pets since I was 4 years old. I have worked in the veterinary field since I was sixteen and am starting my 2nd year of veterinary school at Long Island University. Over the years I have pet sit for a total of 25 different dogs, 15 cats, a bearded dragon, a hamster, guinea pigs, and a turtle. I am able to medicate any dogs or cats, as well as give any injections needed (ex. insulin). I also have experience at a dog daycare where I was in charge of over 40 dogs of all sizes in one large yard together. I am currently working full time at UrgentVet and work second shift so I am available in the mornings or any time on my days off. When school starts at the end of August, I will be able to work around my class schedule and make adjustments as needed for your pet. I care for pets as if they are my own. I make sure they are comfortable and keep their daily routine that they are used to, to make sure everything goes as smooth as possible.

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was 16. I had 2 cats and a dog from the age of 4. I had 3 dogs as a child and teenager. I take care of my parents 10 year old Pomeranian dog, Buddy. He is my favourite and I have so much fun playing with him and taking him for walks. I regularly take care of my friends' cats and dogs of all ages. I don't own any pets but I hope to some day. “Eleni was WONDERFUL with my 2 cats!!! I will definitely be hiring her again!!! Mochi has diabetes and requires an insulin injection every 12 hours in addition to another medication twice a week and Eleni was happy to learn and able to give Mochi his meds which can be a bit daunting and sometimes difficult depending on his mood. but Eleni was attentive and really took the time to learn and care for him properly! my other cat Kumo is a scaredy baby and rarely shows his face around people but Eleni was patient and really put effort into getting him comfortable with her. Eleni updated me with great details about how they’re doing and food. the weather was changing every day from being very cold and then very hot and Eleni proactively adjusted the thermostat accordingly when needed! she would turn on cat TV every couple days AND put treats in their treat games daily so they would stay occupied during the day. Mochi had an accident and Eleni didn't hesitate to clean it up and take out the trash. she really took care of everything!”
