About: I can’t wait to meet your pet! I am a vet student at Long Island University home for the summer looking for pet sitting opportunities. I have 5 years experience in a vet/ kennel setting. Given this, I am comfortable with pets of all needs. Currently working part time but I can be flexible and work around when you need me. I love to be active or just chill on the couch, whatever fits best with your pets typical lifestyle. I have many years of professional experience dealing with a wide range of pets. About: I have owned both cats and big and small dogs and am experienced in training, raising, and taking care of all types of dogs in various states of health and ages. I love all animals! I work part time as I am applying to masters programs right now, so I will have plenty of time for dog walks and animal drop ins! “Eleni was WONDERFUL with my 2 cats!!! I will definitely be hiring her again!!! Mochi has diabetes and requires an insulin injection every 12 hours in addition to another medication twice a week and Eleni was happy to learn and able to give Mochi his meds which can be a bit daunting and sometimes difficult depending on his mood. but Eleni was attentive and really took the time to learn and care for him properly! my other cat Kumo is a scaredy baby and rarely shows his face around people but Eleni was patient and really put effort into getting him comfortable with her. Eleni updated me with great details about how they’re doing and food. the weather was changing every day from being very cold and then very hot and Eleni proactively adjusted the thermostat accordingly when needed! she would turn on cat TV every couple days AND put treats in their treat games daily so they would stay occupied during the day. Mochi had an accident and Eleni didn't hesitate to clean it up and take out the trash. she really took care of everything!”
