About: I have taken care of and trained my golden for 9 years before she recently passed. I have been dog watching the past few years and have always enjoyed having a short-term companion around! I know how scary it can be to find a safe and suitable sitter online as I used to use Rover for my golden years ago. I have always been a dog person and love interacting with new pups and breeds. I also live about 4-6 mins off of the LIE for easy drop-offs/pick-ups! I have my phone easily accessible for quick responses and update multiple times throughout the day with messages and pics of your dog! I am a dog lover who lives an active lifestyle and enjoy going on long walks and spending time outdoors. I am available for dog boarding, doggy day care, and walks depending on scheduling and early notice. I can also provide pick up and drop off services for an additional fee. I make sure that your dog always has water available and that they stay on schedule with meal times or treat intakes. I will regularly walk and play with your dog and can also take them to a nearby dog park or to meet up with other pups. I will never leave your dog unattended for more than 1-2 hours and have other members of the household to provide company as well.

About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. I am also very trust worthy, organized, communicative, and extremely eager to work with you!

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life, and dogs are the greatest animal of all. I currently volunteer at North Shore Animal League as well as the Hope for Cleo Animal Rescue in Suffolk. Love to play and give all the pets to our furry friends! I am a newly-licensed Registered Nurse taking a much-needed vacation. My schedule is 13 days a month at work, and the rest are off days, leaving plenty of time to walk doggies and drop in for potty breaks and play time. My dogs have always lived with a fenced-in yard, but I am not currently offering housing/boarding services. I am willing to travel to help take care of your pup!

About: I’m active and enjoying running/walking. I grew up with a dog in the house and took care of her until her last days. As she got older I still tried to enrich her but playing with her and training her on new commands. I work full time but I'm free on the weekends and home. Weekdays I can accommodate evenings if needed. Friday-Sunday is possible for me as well. When I’m taking care of dogs I like to spend most of my time with them and love play! Between experiences with my own rescue dogs, working and volunteering in animal shelters, being lead supervisor at a doggie daycare/boarding facility, pet photography, and several years in the pet retail industry, I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and experiences. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility to help out with your four-legged friend! While my schedule varies from week to week, I always have the time to help you and your dog. I can easily crate dogs if need be, and can give medication to even the pickiest of eaters. I have no issues with getting dogs leashed, including getting them into harnesses or head-halters.
