About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. I am also very trust worthy, organized, communicative, and extremely eager to work with you!

My girl kitten was timid and didn't come out until the end but Jason sent me videos to show me she finally came out and interacted with him. Jason is professional and a super great communicator. About: I am a med student student who loves animals. I have been dog-sitting since I was a freshman in high school. I started off caring for an elderly dog who had a difficult time walking. I have also worked with a dog who had a limp due to an injured leg and needed to be given medication on time. With each time I sit, I give a summary at the end so that you can also know what your furry friend has been up to. Along with all the dogs I have worked with I also own an adopted dog. My family and I adopted him in my sophomore year of high school. He has taught me to be very patient and aware of his needs. I also like baking and I tend to bake treats for my pets. I don't have a fence, however, I am at my desk when I am working. So I will be able to provide constant company to your pet. I love to go on walks and will take the pet as often as they need. I do not have my own yard, however, I do have a small fenced-in area I can take the dog for play time.

“Shibo was absolutely amazing! I have two male cats, and one of them I had just adopted 10 days before leaving for my trip. He was very skittish when I first got him, but he warmed up to Shibo right away. My other cat took a liking to him immediately as well—who wouldn’t! Shibo was so wonderful, giving my cats the attention they needed while I was away. In the past, I relied on neighbors and people just stopping by to feed and check on them, but my experience with Shibo has completely changed my perspective. It is worth every penny to have someone as great as him looking after your fur babies! When I returned, I could see the difference in my fluffy companions in the best way as this is very early in their introduction phase. I had peace of mind knowing they were well cared for. Shibo provided fantastic updates and beautiful photos, making it clear that my cats had a wonderful time with their new friend. I have full trust in Shibo as I also came home to find everything exactly as I expected. I highly recommend Shibo for anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter! Especially cats.”
