About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. I am also very trust worthy, organized, communicative, and extremely eager to work with you!

About: I have over five years of hands-on pet care experience caring for my own two cats. During this time, I’ve managed daily feeding routines, litter maintenance, playtime, and basic health monitoring, while also providing plenty of affection and enrichment. Living with two cats has taught me how to understand different personalities, recognize subtle behavior changes, and create a calm, safe environment where cats feel comfortable and cared for. I’m currently working full-time so I’m available on weekday evenings for feeding, litter care, playtime, and check-ins, and I have open availability throughout the day on weekends. When caring for cats in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I provide fresh food and water, clean and maintain litter boxes, engage in playtime or quiet companionship based on each cat’s personality, and monitor for any changes in behavior or health. I also ensure the home stays tidy, follow all care instructions carefully, and provide updates so clients can feel confident their cats are safe and well cared for in their own familiar environment.

About: I've grown up with dogs (and later cats and other animals) my entire life, since I was born.  Dogs tend to gravitate towards me, and obey my deep voice.  Family and friends sometimes call me the dog whisperer.  Tall and strong (6'4", 250 pounds) and able to handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I am a DJ and work mostly weekends, and occasionally weeknights.  I am generally available Mondays thru Fridays, late mornings through evenings.  Occasionally may be available on Sundays as well. While I do not provide pet care in my home, I will be sure to follow all instructions to keep your pets and home safe.

About: I am a med student student who loves animals. I have been dog-sitting since I was a freshman in high school. I started off caring for an elderly dog who had a difficult time walking. I have also worked with a dog who had a limp due to an injured leg and needed to be given medication on time. With each time I sit, I give a summary at the end so that you can also know what your furry friend has been up to. Along with all the dogs I have worked with I also own an adopted dog. My family and I adopted him in my sophomore year of high school. He has taught me to be very patient and aware of his needs. I enjoy baking peanut butter cookies to feed him and have baked them for other clients. I am a great sitter because I will care for your dog as if it is my own. I will attend to his or her every need along with baking him/her treats. Something I can provide that others may not be able to provide is long walks along the National Mall. I am a dancer and enjoy going for runs. If a dog is able to, I would love to go for a run with him or her. I am a good sitter because I provide care that exceeds one's expectations. I have school for 2 hours on most days. Therefore pet care fits into my schedule easily. I enjoy going on walks which provide the perfect exercise for dogs. I also like baking and I tend to bake treats for my pets. I don't have a fence, however, I am at my desk when I am working. So I will be able to provide constant company to your pet. I love to go on walks and will take the pet as often as they need. I do not have my own yard, however, I do have a small fenced-in area I can take the dog for play time.

About: I am a pet lover with 20 years of experience caring for pets of all sizes. I currently work from home and do not own a dog myself. I continue to take excellent care of every dog ​​that visits, making them feel comfortable and relaxed within about five minutes, just like they would at home. I’m currently got lot of available time, I’m available 24 hours per day 7 days a week. I will commit 100% of my time to take care of pets. Im currently living in an affluent neighborhood at a single family house in a cul-de-sac. My family members love pets and willing help out if needed.

We were incredibly lucky to find Stacie: We would never have gone abroad unless we found someone great. Stacie provided us with two references, both of whom were thrilled to report she did a fantastic job with their pets: They said she was always on time, posted lots of photos and was incredibly respectful of being inside their homes when no one was around. That was actually my primary concern about hiring someone I did not know: It’s pretty difficult to leave your house keys with a stranger. But Stacie was wonderful. She was incredibly responsible. We took this trip just a few days ago (mid-January 2022) when the city was pounded with a terrible snowstorm. Despite the awful weather, Stacie kept her appointment: She told us in advance that she might be an hour or so late because the blizzard left the roads unnavigable. But, clearly, she made it a priority to check on our two beloved Birman cats: She came just a couple of hours later. I’m sure that was difficult considering the weather, but we truly appreciated it. We knew the cats would be OK in Stacie’s care. And they clearly grew to love her. We are incredibly grateful to have found her.”

He was flexible and accommodating of our feeding and litter box times and asked questions whenever he was unsure. He provided us with details and photos of my furbabies during each visit. One of my girls has IBS and he would send us pictures of her food dish to make sure she was getting her RX food. Another one of my girls tends to sometimes pee outside of the litter box and Karlos would inform us if she did and mop up the urine. And to top it all off, he was patient and caring towards my kitties (which means a great deal in a world where an animals life isn't considered as precious as a humans).”
