“Samantha and Jerry were fantastic. Zara, our cat, was happy and well cared for when we came home. We got great pictures of her being brushed, eating, and drinking throughout their visits. Would 100% recommend.”

“Carlos (and his son) took excellent care of my cat. He sent me pictures and kept me posted on what was happening. He was even able to let me pick JoJo up several hours early!”

“Keoma took SUCH good care of my two cats while I was away for a week. In addition, she was thoughtful and thorough when it came to tidying up the food waste, cleaning their dishes, and giving them plenty of play time.”
About: I am a med student student who loves animals. I have been dog-sitting since I was a freshman in high school. I started off caring for an elderly dog who had a difficult time walking. I have also worked with a dog who had a limp due to an injured leg and needed to be given medication on time. With each time I sit, I give a summary at the end so that you can also know what your furry friend has been up to. Along with all the dogs I have worked with I also own an adopted dog. My family and I adopted him in my sophomore year of high school. He has taught me to be very patient and aware of his needs. I enjoy baking peanut butter cookies to feed him and have baked them for other clients. I am a great sitter because I will care for your dog as if it is my own. I will attend to his or her every need along with baking him/her treats. Something I can provide that others may not be able to provide is long walks along the National Mall. I am a dancer and enjoy going for runs. If a dog is able to, I would love to go for a run with him or her. I am a good sitter because I provide care that exceeds one's expectations. I have school for 2 hours on most days. Therefore pet care fits into my schedule easily. I enjoy going on walks which provide the perfect exercise for dogs. I also like baking and I tend to bake treats for my pets. I don't have a fence, however, I am at my desk when I am working. So I will be able to provide constant company to your pet. I love to go on walks and will take the pet as often as they need. I do not have my own yard, however, I do have a small fenced-in area I can take the dog for play time.
“Karlos was awesome with our 5 kitties and dropped by before we left for vacay so that we could show him the rundown of where everything was. He was flexible and accommodating of our feeding and litter box times and asked questions whenever he was unsure. He provided us with details and photos of my furbabies during each visit. One of my girls has IBS and he would send us pictures of her food dish to make sure she was getting her RX food. Another one of my girls tends to sometimes pee outside of the litter box and Karlos would inform us if she did and mop up the urine. And to top it all off, he was patient and caring towards my kitties (which means a great deal in a world where an animals life isn't considered as precious as a humans).”

About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. I am also very trust worthy, organized, communicative, and extremely eager to work with you!
“Jacqueline was amazing! She was so easy to get in touch with, super communicative, and was right on time for the drop-in. She sent pictures and videos playing with my cat. She has a clear love for animals and treated my cat with kindness. Will definitely book again!!”

About: I have over five years of hands-on pet care experience caring for my own two cats. During this time, I’ve managed daily feeding routines, litter maintenance, playtime, and basic health monitoring, while also providing plenty of affection and enrichment. Living with two cats has taught me how to understand different personalities, recognize subtle behavior changes, and create a calm, safe environment where cats feel comfortable and cared for. I’m currently working full-time so I’m available on weekday evenings for feeding, litter care, playtime, and check-ins, and I have open availability throughout the day on weekends. When caring for cats in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I provide fresh food and water, clean and maintain litter boxes, engage in playtime or quiet companionship based on each cat’s personality, and monitor for any changes in behavior or health. I also ensure the home stays tidy, follow all care instructions carefully, and provide updates so clients can feel confident their cats are safe and well cared for in their own familiar environment.
“Though it was Michelle second time of sitting Katie and Maya, she was able to pet Maya who usually does not show up and allow her own family members to pet her. Great Job! I would recommend and use her again.”

About: I’m a Veterinary Nurse who works with dogs and cats. Also, family and friends have relied on me for care and enrichment when in need. I work full time and off 3 days. Safety, hygiene and comfort are also top priorities with pets in my care.

About: Dog lover and experienced pet caregiver with a strong understanding of daily dog care, routines, and behavior. I’m attentive, patient, and treat every dog like my own. I have two cats at home, so any dog I care for must be cat-friendly and comfortable around other animals. I prioritize safety, calm interactions, and a loving environment at all times. I am a realtor so my schedule is very flexible and my partner is also self employed. We can both amend our schedules to fulfill any daily tasks we need done. I have a fabric cleaner so I do allow pups on furniture and the bed. Although I do not have a fenced backyard, I have access to dog parks in the area and can walk there.
“I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful care Anna provided for Ramsey while we were away. Her daily photos and updates truly reassured us that she was happy and comfortable in your care. It was clear to see how much she enjoyed spending time with you! Your kindness and attention to detail made all the difference, and I can't thank you enough for being such a fantastic sitter. We highly recommend you to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets! Thank you once again for everything!”

“I'd highly recommend Nateesha! We appreciate her care and attention looking after Ollie and Dodger while we were away. They seem totally comfortable with her right away (Ollie is usually shy with people he doesn't know, but he came right over), and are happy and healthy on our return. Thank you!”

Kloe has watched my two cats quite a few times now and she always does an excellent job! I have two shy boys and she always takes her time to get them to eat and give them some cuddles. She’s always reliable and never has trouble giving one of my cats his daily medicine! Highly recommend!

Sheryn was dependable and made sure to stop by every day to check on my cats while I was away, which gave me peace of mind. She was consistent with her visits and clearly cared about making sure they were okay. I appreciated her reliability and the effort she put into being there daily. Thank you, Sheryn, for helping look after my cats.

Jessica is an excellent caretaker of our cat Aden. Helped us with drop in visits for 3 days, coming punctually and playing with our cat how we would if we were there. Aden took to her very fondly and trusted her right away ! If you want a trust worthy pet taker book Jessica for your pets :)
