“Ayah did a great job with Kitty Boy. He warmed up to her right away when she came to pick up the keys. She kept Kitty Boy well fed and the bathroom clean - he is a notorious litter kicker. They had play time together and lots of pets. There was a minor snafu with arrival time a couple of days (emergencies happen) but aside from that, I'd say Ayah was a great choice to take care of my boy when we had to be away for the week.”

“Lorena has taken care of my dog multiple times! She has done two things for us: dog walks for my peekapoo (she even taught him to go down the stairs when he was a puppy!) and stayed in my home while I was on vacation taking care of him. During the days she'd come over to walk him, she would take him on a 15 minute walk (he didn't like walking longer than that!) and then played with him for about 45 minutes. It really helped when I was at work and it got his energy out. Each time that she has stayed in my house, she has been super communicative (sending me pictures or videos unprompted) and so caring of my baby. I have had her multiple times and wouldn't hesitate to have her again. Also have to mention that it's never been a problem having her in my home - has always taken care of everything and left everything as I have left it. She's trustworthy and reliable - would highly recommend her!”

About: I have always had pets. They are my babies. A year ago I started caring for other people pets, while they were working, or on vacation. I work from home, and I am off on Wednesdays and weekends. I am available early morning, and anytime after 2pm. I am also available on holidays. I have a small dog who loves all other animals and people. I have a fenced in yard, but, I mostly take the dogs to the park, so they can explore.

She has always thoroughly communicated during his boarding stays about potential behavior or health challenges. When I pick him up, she gives a full report and plenty of adorable photos. She is playful, responsive, and responsible. Remi is always so excited to see her and to stay at her home. Pomskys are an energetic bunch but she manages to tire him out with all of their fun activities. Her home is a warm and inviting space for a dog and she is surrounded by ample green space. We are so lucky to have her in our lives. I always have peace of mind when he is in her care.”

Around august when i had just started college, i didn’t have time to walk my dog and go to work at the same time. Bushra offered to do so and it’s been such a big help. I don’t have to feel guilty about not spending enough time with my dog because i know bushra is there to take care of him. My dog is slow to trust others but he’s built an amazing relationship with her. He’s always excited for their walks and has become much calmer at home.”

About: After not being allowed to have pets growing up, as soon as I graduated college, I decided to foster my special needs cat, Hudson. One week later, I decided I was keeping him! (even though I was going on an extended international trip in 3 months!) Spoiler alert: I ended up coming home from my trip with a 1 month old kitten, my dear Leóna from Nicaragua (she was the first kitten I'd ever seen in my life!). That got me started in the cat and animal rescue world where I went on to foster (thankfully no more foster failures after my first 2!), TNR, transport, and petsit cats and kittens of all ages (including feeding an outdoor cat colony for my friend while she was on vacation!). That semi-impulsive decision to get Hudson at 22 led me to become a total softie and animal lover - I even gave up eating meat and stopped killing bugs (except fleas - sorry fleas!). I am so thankful to those who watch my cat while I'm away so I can still pursue my love of travel and I want to be that for someone else and provide affordable rates to make pet ownership a little easier! Things to note: - My home is located about 15 minutes away from both JFK and LGA! - Although I have never had a dog, I absolutely love them and am open to learning how to best care for your dog and they are more than welcome in my home! - My cat is up to date on vaccinations - I clean the litter box 2-3 times a day - I have experience administering oral medication to cats I will send you many pictures and love your pet as my own! Know they are in good hands! I currently work from home so I have a lot of flexibility in meeting the needs of your pet! I feed my own cat about 4 small meals a day (she's a diva!) and clean her litter box 2-3 times a day. I am available to follow whatever schedule you have your pet on if they stay with me! Otherwise, I also might be able to drop-in on your pet at your home and stay for some extended time and do some work from there, if you'd like! The pet's comfort is my number one priority. I will never do anything to make your pet uncomfortable and will meet them where they are! If they are not comfortable around me, I will not bother them, but I will make sure they are well-fed and in a clean environment. Additionally, the windows in my home are screened and always remain closed.
