I’ve taken care of cats for a year, and I’ve truly found a love for finding ways to enrich their lives and make them feel loved, cared for and happy. Just like people, I enjoy putting my all into empathetic care for cats <3

Safety, trust & environment
I break down care into two categories: space care and pet care. Space care is how I can best respect and honor the space I’m in, whether that’s taking shoes off while inside, staying away from or out of certain rooms, anything that preserves the tradition or energy of a space. Pet care includes the basics, like when the pet should be fed, given water or treats, or how often their litter box should be cleaned. It also includes the pet’s preferences: where to pet them if they enjoy being pet at all, how they enjoy being cared for, how much attention or space to give them, how best to play with them, anything special I should call them, and things of that nature. In my opinion, pet care involves trust from not only the owner, but from the pet as well, and I take that trust very seriously.

Xen has been taking care of my two cats for the past two years for over a month at a time. The care, love, and responsibility with which they take care of my cats has been so incredibly helpful—I have never seen my cats so relaxed when my family and I return home. They are very organized, and check in often whenever there are any questions, or just to send updates on how the cats are doing (and pictures). I have one quite anxious cat, and even she has opened up to Xen. It's obvious that Xen loves cats, and puts a lot of love into taking care of them. I would 100% recommend Xen for any future cat sitting job!
I had a great experience with this cat sitter during a long vacation for which I needed drop-in/house sitting help. My cat felt comfortable right away, and I appreciated the clear and easy communication. Highly recommended!

Schedule
I am currently job-hunting, so I have quite a bit of time to do drop-ins or stay at a residence for a few hours and check in on cats. On most days, I am free in the late morning and afternoon, but there are some exceptions.
- CatsXen can host up to 5 drop-ins per day
- Let me know if your cat has any conditions I should be aware of, if they’re hypoallergenic or not, and if there is any medicine I need to administer and how I can administer it.
