About: I’ve been caring for dogs for about 5 years, and over that time I’ve also helped look after dogs for family and friends whenever they needed someone they could trust. I’m a very caring, patient, and detail-oriented person, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and getting to know their different personalities. When a dog stays with me, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for — and I want their owners to feel the same peace of mind. I always keep owners updated with lots of photos and videos, so even while you’re traveling, you’ll know your pup is getting plenty of love and attention. Caring for dogs is an important part of my daily life, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. Right now, pet care is my full-time focus, which means I have the time, energy, and flexibility to give dogs lots of attention throughout the day. I’m also pet CPR certified, and I always do my best to provide a safe, loving, and attentive environment for every pup staying with me. I live in a clean and well-kept apartment and do our best to create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment for dogs in our care. I also have a 3-year-old Border Collie who is very sweet, gentle, and full of positive energy. He has done very well with other dogs and has enjoyed spending time and playing with them. Throughout the day, I make sure dogs get regular potty breaks, outdoor time, and time to relax and settle in comfortably at home. After coming back inside, I clean their paws to help keep them clean and comfortable while also maintaining a tidy living space. I also pay attention to brushing and overall cleanliness so dogs can feel comfortable during their stay. Most importantly, I pay close attention to each dog’s comfort level, personality, and interactions to help maintain a safe and positive environment for everyone.

We had a great experience having our 5 month old kitten stay with Suraia while we were out of town. Amy was such an amazing caretaker for Apollo! We needed someone to watch him during a long trip, and since he had never stayed with her before, she generously offered not one, but two meet-and-greets. The first was to meet us and Apollo, and the second allowed him to get comfortable in her home before his stay. From the very beginning, Amy was incredibly sweet, kind, and welcoming. Her family was just as excited to have Apollo and made him feel right at home. She took the time to listen to all of our instructions and learn about Apollo’s preferences, and she truly embraced having him as part of her family while we were away. Throughout his stay, she kept me updated with pictures and messages about how he was eating, sleeping, adjusting, and whether he seemed anxious. Her communication was excellent, and she was always so accommodating and thoughtful. Apollo was happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for, which gave me so much peace of mind while traveling. I trusted Amy completely and would absolutely have Apollo stay with her again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, reliable, and communicative sitter!

Lawrence is super friendly and clearly very knowledgable and experienced with cats. We knew from the start that our cat Gambit would be in good hands. He is so easy to work with, especially for first time cat parents being away for the first time. Gambit felt comfortable around him immediately and looked right at home!
