After not being allowed to have pets growing up, as soon as I graduated college, I decided to foster my special needs cat, Hudson. One week later, I decided I was keeping him! (even though I was going on an extended international trip in 3 months!) Spoiler alert: I ended up coming home from my trip with a 1 month old kitten, my dear Leóna from Nicaragua (she was the first kitten I'd ever seen in my life!). ~ That got me started in the cat and animal rescue world where I went on to foster (thankfully no more foster failures after my first 2!), TNR, transport, and petsit cats and kittens of all ages. That semi-impulsive decision to get Hudson at 22 changed my entire life and led me to become a total softie and animal lover - I even gave up eating meat and stopped killing bugs (except fleas - sorry fleas!). ~ I am so thankful to those who watch my cat while I'm away so I can still pursue my love of travel and I want to be that for someone else and provide affordable rates to make pet ownership a little easier! ~ Fun story: On a trip to Costa Rica, I met a girl in my hostel who invited me to work for a month at her doggy daycare after learning that I'm a petsitter. I ended up staying on an island in Ohio in 2025 for 5 months running her doggy daycare myself, while she traveled, where I was the island's one stop shop for all their petcare needs - including goats! My favorite part was my daily 2 hour morning hikes with my core 4 (the reason I ended up staying an extra four months!) ~ - My home is located about 15 minutes away from both JFK and LGA! - Although I have never had a dog, I absolutely love them and they are more than welcome in my home! I gained so much experience and knowledge over the years through Rover and my time running a doggy daycare! - My cat is up to date on vaccinations - I clean the litter box 2-3 times a day - I have experience administering oral medication I will send you many pictures and love your pet as my own! Know they are in good hands!
