“Carlos (and his son) took excellent care of my cat. He sent me pictures and kept me posted on what was happening. He was even able to let me pick JoJo up several hours early!”

“Karlos was super awesome watching our boy, Tut! He came into our home while we were away, twice a day, and fed Tut, cleaned his litter, played with him and gave him attention, and did small extras that we didn’t ask him to do! We HIGHLY recommend Karlos and suggest that you book him for your pet needs!”

About: I’m a Veterinary Nurse who works with dogs and cats. Also, family and friends have relied on me for care and enrichment when in need. I work full time and off 3 days. I can spend 30-60 minutes, 2-3 times for the day to provide the necessary care for pets. I’m attentive to detail, maintain routine for feeding, medication, walks and enrichment. Safety, hygiene and comfort are also top priorities with pets in my care.
“Cynthia was so attentive and caring to our cats! From the moment she came to meet them, they were drawn to her! She gave great updates and sent pictures throughout her visits. Would absolutely book her again and recommend her to other pet parents!!”

“Keoma is the cat whisperer we were looking for! We were nervous about leaving our newly adopted kitty alone for the first time, but Keoma was an absolute star. Our little girl took to her immediately, and Keoma did an amazing job of checking on her while we were away - playing with her, taking on extra shifts with little notice, sending us regular pictures and videos, and even taking care of the high-maintenance princess when she decided to get sick. We’re so happy to have found Keoma, and will definitely be calling on her whenever we need a sitter next!”

“After hiring an outstanding cat sitter from Rover for five years, she moved away and I was very worried about using someone else. However, Lawrence had so many great reviews, I decided to call Lawrence. He visited our home before we left for a 10 day vacation and our normally very timid cat immediately left her hiding spot and approached Lawrence. His calm manner drew her out and I decided that Lawrence would be the perfect caregiver for my cat. He communicated with me every day including photos and/or videos. I have no hesitation recommending Lawrence and I will definitely seek his help in the future.”

About: I have over five years of hands-on pet care experience caring for my own two cats. During this time, I’ve managed daily feeding routines, litter maintenance, playtime, and basic health monitoring, while also providing plenty of affection and enrichment. Living with two cats has taught me how to understand different personalities, recognize subtle behavior changes, and create a calm, safe environment where cats feel comfortable and cared for. I’m currently working full-time so I’m available on weekday evenings for feeding, litter care, playtime, and check-ins, and I have open availability throughout the day on weekends. When caring for cats in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I provide fresh food and water, clean and maintain litter boxes, engage in playtime or quiet companionship based on each cat’s personality, and monitor for any changes in behavior or health. I also ensure the home stays tidy, follow all care instructions carefully, and provide updates so clients can feel confident their cats are safe and well cared for in their own familiar environment.

About: Feathers, Fur, and Everything In Between Hey there! I’m Joanne, and I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals. My Experience: * Bird Mom: I’ve owned exotic birds for 15 years. * Vet Assistant Perks: I spent time working in a vet clinic, so I have experience working with cats and dogs. I know what to look for to make sure everyone is healthy and safe. * Shelter Volunteer : I’ve spent plenty of time volunteering at shelters, which means I’m great with small animals and exotics. My Philosophy: Whether I’m hanging out with your cat, walking your dog, or making sure your bird is chirping, I treat your pets like they’re my own family. You’ll get plenty of photos and updates so you know they’re having a good time while you’re away. Bottom line: Your pet’s comfort is my #1 priority. Let’s chat and see if I’m the right fit for your family ! By day, I’m working at the hospital, but in my off-hours, I’m all about the animals. Since my work life is all about care and attention to detail, I bring that same energy to looking after your pets during my free time. I’ve spent 15 years keeping exotic birds, and I currently have two budgies of my own. They get flight time, fresh water, and a spread of fresh veggies every single day—and I bring that same "spoiled and healthy" standard to every pet I watch. Whether you have a dog, a cat, or a feathered friend, I’ll make sure your pet gets the same experience. I make it my mission to ensure every pet in my care gets the exercise they need and their meals exactly how they like them.

About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. I am also very trust worthy, organized, communicative, and extremely eager to work with you!
“Zixin was kind with the dogs and very dependable. Always dropping in on time and had great communication. She was able to walk our large dog. Would highly recommend her service.”

“Samantha and Jerry were fantastic. Zara, our cat, was happy and well cared for when we came home. We got great pictures of her being brushed, eating, and drinking throughout their visits. Would 100% recommend.”

“Nateesha was absolutely awesome!! She took great care of our cats and followed our directions to the letter. She always sent us pictures and we felt very comfortable letting her in our space. Even my shy cat warmed up to her which is so rare. Highly recommend!!”

Queens Village cat parents share their Rover experiences
This is the first time we’ve ever left our seven-year-old cat Mimi with anyone or let anyone in our home. We have nothing but amazing things to say about Lawrence’s care and communication. Lawrence went above and beyond during his visits every day to make sure that Mimi had enough playtime, food, cuddles and attention. We receive pics and videos for every single visit and they put our minds at ease to know that our home and our beloved cat were well taken care of. We would definitely use his services again in the future.

Shibo was absolutely amazing! I have two male cats, and one of them I had just adopted 10 days before leaving for my trip. He was very skittish when I first got him, but he warmed up to Shibo right away. My other cat took a liking to him immediately as well—who wouldn’t! Shibo was so wonderful, giving my cats the attention they needed while I was away. In the past, I relied on neighbors and people just stopping by to feed and check on them, but my experience with Shibo has completely changed my perspective. It is worth every penny to have someone as great as him looking after your fur babies! When I returned, I could see the difference in my fluffy companions in the best way as this is very early in their introduction phase. I had peace of mind knowing they were well cared for. Shibo provided fantastic updates and beautiful photos, making it clear that my cats had a wonderful time with their new friend. I have full trust in Shibo as I also came home to find everything exactly as I expected. I highly recommend Shibo for anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter! Especially cats.

Sheryn was dependable and made sure to stop by every day to check on my cats while I was away, which gave me peace of mind. Thank you, Sheryn, for helping look after my cats.
