About: Reaching 6 years with my family’s Jindo. She’s a hyper active breed, so I do my best to keep her entertained and happy as best I can, like playing frisbee in the yard and going on trail walks. Since she’s in Colorado while I’m in NYC, I don’t get to see her as often and I love to shower any dogs I meet with the same affection I show her :-) These days, I occasionally dog-sit my best friend’s cavapoo for a few hours to a few days. My friends would wholeheartedly agree that dogs are what I love most on this good green Earth. No coffee break is complete without pointing out another adorable corgi, pug, or a golden doodle. From growing up with several puppies to being entrusted with babysitting a family friend's dog as an elementary school student, I've always had a knack for bonding with canines and showering them with affection and care. Availability-wise, I’d be happy to chat with you about scheduling. I can’t wait to meet you and your dog! I currently work from home so I offer the most flexibility with taking care of your pets. I’m happy to work with your busy schedule. I make sure they get comfortable with me first and hang around to show I’m a chill human. Lots of belly rubs and words of affirmation are a given.
About: Hi, I’m Sam! I’m a 24-year-old lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for just about every animal you can imagine. I grew up on a farm and have years of experience with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, pigs, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, and even reptiles. I’m the proud owner of a horse I bred and raised myself named Doc, a heeler/coonhound mix named Wesson, and an ivory pastel ball python named Vherya. I also completed a 3-year veterinary science program in high school and worked in a veterinary hospital, giving me a strong foundation in animal health, behavior, and safe handling. For the past four years, I’ve worked as an exercise rider and trainer for racehorses up and down the East Coast, with Saratoga as my summer home base. Animals are truly my life, both professionally and personally, and I love staying active outdoors—especially when pets are involved! I would love the opportunity to care for your fur (or scale!) babies, whether that’s walking, pet sitting, or drop-in visits. Your pets’ safety, happiness, and comfort are always my top priority. Thank you for reading, and I hope to meet your pets soon! I work at the racetrack in the mornings, but I am available every afternoon, night, and before I go into work in the morning. I am very reliable! If it’s a fenced in yard, I go outside and watch the dog(s) to make sure they went potty and had adequate play time. If they need walked on the leash, I make sure they have enough time to go potty, and see new sights and sounds!
About: Hi! My name is Abbie, and I’ve been a Rover sitter for almost a year. I truly understand how important your fur baby is to you. I’m typically home on weekends, this allows me to give dogs plenty of supervision and companionship throughout the day. I live in Oakland Gardens, in a three-room townhouse with a spacious front yard and backyard. I’m also surrounded by great parks like Alley Pond Park, Cunningham Park, and Oakland Lake, which are perfect for long walks. One of my favorite things to do is sit in the front yard with the dogs while I read and let the dogs relax and people-watch. I also have my own dog, his name is Peachy. He’s an 18-pound Bichon Frise boy. He’s very friendly, active, and neutered, and he loves having doggy companions around. He also does great with other dogs and enjoys both playtime and downtime. I’m mostly home all day during the weekend which allows me to provide constant supervision and attention for your little fur baby throughout the day. I live in a three-bedroom townhouse with a clean, pet-friendly environment. I vacuum and clean my house everyday. I also have a fenced front yard and backyard for them to run around. One of my favorite things to do is sit in the front yard with the dogs while I read and let the dogs relax and people-watch.
“It’s was such a blessing to have Cynthia walk our furry baby Aria during our 17 day trip overseas. She showed to be responsible, reliable and very loving with Aria. She sent me daily pics and documented every walk. It was such a joy to hear daily from their walks. Aria adores her and will keep coming back for more and more walks in the near future. Thank you so much Cynthia! Aria adores and misses you!”

“Gabrielle is amazing with my black lab, Pluto. He loves the walks and gets super excited to see her. She walks him typically 3 days a week. Also she feeds him for me as well. She does a great job.”

About: We have had many dogs throughout our life. Right now we currently have 2 small Havanese dogs - Daisy and Luna. We have two children, 14 and 12, and both dogs get along with all children and other dogs as well. We will take care of your dogs as though they are one of our own! We do take on more than one dog at a time, but never more than 2 (so including my own dogs, never more than 4 total). We have a fully fenced in yard where they love to run around and play. We live in a great neighborhood where we can go on long walks. We have two size crates should your dog require one. We look forward to spending time with your pet/s! I currently work full time as a teacher but am home by 2:30 and am able to come home during lunch breaks to let dogs out and walk them. My husband is home all day- so they always have company! My two dogs love other dogs so they will always have someone to play with. “This is our third time going through Isabella and our little pup absolutely loves her! She’s prompt, communicative, and goes above and beyond! Definitely will be contacting her again.”

About: I’ve cared for pets for over 15 years, including my own three senior cats and family dogs. I’m calm, observant, and patient with all temperaments — from energetic puppies to shy seniors. I always keep walks safe and controlled, follow each pet’s routine closely, and provide daily updates with time-stamped photos and notes. I’m currently completing my PSA and NAPPS certifications to strengthen my professional skills. I speak both English and Mandarin, and I’m happy to communicate in either language for your comfort. I’m based in Bayside Queens. My schedule is very flexible. I’m available weekdays after 9am and weekends all day, and I’ll do my best to match your preferred time and location for ongoing visits. I also drive, so I can pick up or drop off pets if needed, and I plan my routes carefully to stay punctual and consistent with each pet’s routine. Whether you need short-term or long-term help, I’m happy to adjust to what works best for you and your pets. Safety always comes first. I double-check gates, doors, and harnesses before every walk and never go off-leash. I follow your feeding and crate or litter routines, wipe paws, and clean food and water areas after every visit. If an emergency ever occurs, I’ll contact you immediately, then your preferred vet or a nearby 24/7 hospital, and document everything through Rover messages for transparency. Pets under my care are treated like family—with patience, structure, and gentle attention.

About: I really love pets, honestly in my free time I would just non stop watch dog whisperer episodes and I loved it so much. I truly have a passion for animals and I would love being able to contribute to making their lives more enjoyable even if it’s just something as little as taking them for a walk. Jane was not only wonderful with our dogs, but proved extremely reliable during an extended weekend where we were out of town and all of our discussed plans were disrupted by the unforeseen—storms, road closures, etc. She provided clear and timely communication in dealing with changes, and we quickly felt comfortable trusting her best judgment to both attend to and care for our two dogs.

Coming to leave another review. My dog can be such a miserable brat when we’re outside. She just chased someone this morning. But when she sees Nando, she’s as gentle as a lamb. Dogs truly do have great intuition, and they recognize dog lovers. Nando truly has a gift working with them and they love him.

"I highly recommend Diane, she is incredibly reliable and always arrives on time for every walk. She also keeps me updated with pictures and notes, which gives me great peace of mind when I'm not home. Ginger loves her and looks forward to their walks. She is gentle, patient, and clearly knows how to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I'm so grateful to have found Diane.
