About: My main service is cat boarding! I have everything for every type of cat! I have wall perches and beds for cats who like to climb, I have tons of cat safe places for a shy cat to hide, and I have probably 10 different cat trees and scratch towers, and of course an endless amount of toys! My house is also always 100% dog free! My home is basically a kitty wonderland 🐈⬛ ⭐️ I NEVER board or sit dogs in my own home. My house is 100% dog free 365 days of the year! I know this is very important to some cat parents! ⭐️ I’m currently not available for any dog sitting or drop in services! I mainly specialize in cat care at this current moment! I don’t have dogs in my home, so if you’re looking for a cat sitter without dogs, I’m a good pick! I have cared for dozens of cats between sitting, boarding, and fostering. I have experience with cats with all different temperaments. If your cat prefers to hide for days at a time, or bounces off the walls at 3 am, I’ve seen it all!
“Cristofer has recently started walking our Golden . He has taken the best care of her. Walking her a good distance to get her energy out . While making sure she does her business before bring her home and putting her safely in her crate. He is excellent at keeping me in the loop as to her sending plenty of pictures and providing good feedback . I’m sure My Maggie has befriended Cristoper for years to come .”
“This was my first time booking Melissa and it couldn’t have gone any better! Melissa was an excellent walker for Mocha. She was very communicative and kept me updated on their walks. She took wonderful care of Mocha and even helped with other tasks in the house, as well! I would definitely recommend Melissa and would rebook with her too :)”

About: We have had many dogs throughout our life. Right now we currently have 2 small Havanese dogs - Daisy and Luna. We have two children, 15 and 13, and both dogs get along with all children and other dogs as well. We will take care of your dogs as though they are one of our own! We do take on more than one dog at a time. We have a fully fenced in yard where they love to run around and play. We live in a great neighborhood where we can go on long walks. We have two size crates should your dog require one. We look forward to spending time with your pet/s! I currently work full time as a teacher but am home by 2:30 and am able to come home during lunch breaks to let dogs out and walk them. And my husband works from home - so they always have company! My two dogs love other dogs so they will always have someone to play with. My two dogs love other dogs so they will always have someone to play with. Our yard is fully fenced so your dog will be able to run around outside off leash. We also love to go on walks as well. I have a small crate and a medium size crate if your dog needs to be crated.
“I can’t say enough great things about Danielle. She has been absolutely amazing with my dog. Super reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring. I always get detailed updates and the cutest pictures after every walk, which gives me so much peace of mind. My pup gets so excited every time they show up — that alone tells me everything I need to know!”

“Michelle is an excellent dog walker. She is thoughtful, caring and has a great sense of humor. My dog is a game player and she has her number. Thank you Michelle for all you do.”

“I highly recommend Diane. She incredibly reliable and always arrives on time for every walk. She also keeps me updated with pictures and notes, which gives me great peace of mind when I'm not home. Ginger loves her. Diane is gentle, patient, and clearly knows how to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments. My dog Ginger is skittish and takes and while to warm up to ppl but Diane knew how to work with her. I'm so grateful to have found Diane!”

“Nateesha is so kind, considerate, and patient! She works with my schedule and is so calm and understanding of my pup. Kiwi is an elderly, antisocial, grumpy, and now (mostly) blind boy, and Nateesha took her time and engaged with him until he was comfortable. She also took the time to get to know what I was looking for and figure out what could alleviate my concerns. Highly recommend!!!”

About: I have over twenty years dog experience caring for 4 different dogs in my life personally, plus countless other friends and family members dogs who all love me. I work remote, so I can take my laptop anywhere and work from everywhere. Plus my job is full of fellow pet lovers who all understands whenever I had to take my own dogs to the vet for instance. I recently had to put my little buddy down :-( and would love to get to help others take care of their own doggies. In my home I have a fenced in yard. I also love to take dogs on walks and meet other doggies, assuming they’re friendly. As far as meals are concerned, all of my dogs had specialized diets, so food was kept separate and prepared accordingly.

About: I’ve been dog and cat sitting for my friends for the past 3 years. I’m looking to expand my horizons and make new furry friends along the way :) My schedule varies a bit because I’m currently in med school, but on any of my days off, I’d love to spend time with some fur buddies! I’m a huge lover of animals. I’ll follow all the directions you have set for your pet’s care, and go the extra mile to keep them feeling happy.

Michelle was wonderful with our two senior rescue dogs! From the very first visit, it was clear she was experienced and comfortable caring for older dogs with different needs. She instinctively knew how to approach them, which immediately put us at ease. We were so impressed after the first visit that we booked her for consecutive walks and weekend drop-in visits. Throughout every visit, Michelle kept us well informed with detailed updates about how the dogs were doing, their walks, meals, potty breaks, and overall behavior. She also shared great photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. When we returned home, the biggest sign of how well she had cared for them was how calm, happy, and settled they were. Everything was just as we had left it, and it was obvious they had been well looked after. Michelle is reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring. We wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pets.

Peggy was AMAZING! This was our first time using Rover, so we were nervous about leaving our Prince, but I knew we were in great hands the first time we all met. From her walk-by-walk update, videos and pics of their FANTASTIC jaunts to even helping my Mom, who was staying with Prince while we traveled, Peggy went above and beyond making sure we were as OK being away from him as he was. She not only became our go-to for Prince’s care, she’s truly became part of our family!

Jane was not only wonderful with our dogs, but proved extremely reliable during an extended weekend where we were out of town and all of our discussed plans were disrupted by the unforeseen—storms, road closures, etc. She provided clear and timely communication in dealing with changes, and we quickly felt comfortable trusting her best judgment to both attend to and care for our two dogs.

Coming to leave another review. My dog can be such a miserable brat when we’re outside. She just chased someone this morning. But when she sees Nando, she’s as gentle as a lamb. Dogs truly do have great intuition, and they recognize dog lovers. Nando truly has a gift working with them and they love him.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
