In 2022 I adopted a resource guarding cattledog mix with intense leash reactivity. As I was overwhelmed and regretting my decisions in trying to home this animal in need, Courtney Sullivan helped me train my dog and not only taught me proper mechanics but also was able to explain the behaviors my dog was exhibiting. With her help I was able to feel safe around my own dog but also helped me feel comfortable with him in public places. As I would occasionally have to go out of town, naturally Courtney is the first person I would call to take care of my dog. She is not only extremely knowledgeable and able to take care of “not so friendly” dogs, but she is trustworthy and someone I know I can depend on to keep my animal safe. I would absolutely recommend Courtney Sullivan to anyone in need of someone to take care of their animals, especially with behavioral issues or those who simply do not get along with everyone. There are very few people I trust with my dog, and Courtney Sullivan is certainly on the top of that list.

I have entrusted courtney for several years with the car of my pets. She was our long time dog walker/ pet sitter for my late boxer, Watson who has since passed and he just adored her in every way. He was a rescue and had a lot of trauma, and she was always very gentle and listened to his needs. About a year ago, we got a golden retriever puppy named Sage who is a bit of a handful— we called in Courtney to help us with some basic training, as well as helping to curb her reactivity on leash. Sage has been doing really well with Courtney’s training plan and her jumping on people and lunging at cars has improved a great deal! We are ao happy. We gave also asked her to pet sit for sage, as well as our cats in the home and she leaves our home neat as a pin and tends to everybody’s needs / goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend Courtney as a Dog Walker, dog trainer or your pet sitter. She is really a jack of all trades, and has helped us so much broad-spectrum with our pets for the past eight years.

Courtney did a fantastic job taking care of my three dogs while we were away on vacation . Not only did she walk & feed them , give them their vitamins, clean up after my Mouse who is only semi house broken . She also sent photos & played with them . She made us feel so good knowing that they were all fine while we were away. She is extremely reliable and trustworthy and a very knowledgeable dog trainer .
