About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’m currently a proud dog mom to a friendly 2 year old lab mix, and I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet like family. Over the years, I’ve cared for many friends’ and family members’ pets through walking, feeding, playtime, overnight care, and sticking to each pet’s unique routine. As a teacher, I’m patient, dependable, attentive, and great at reading behavior and energy levels, skills that translate perfectly to pet care. I’m comfortable with energetic young dogs who need exercise and structure, as well as pets who simply want companionship and consistency. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away, with plenty of updates and photos along the way! I am a full time teacher, with availability for afternoon/evening times for weekdays. I am free on the weekends as well. Once summer comes, my availability definitely opens up. My home is pet friendly, with a fenced in backyard. I do have one dog at home so your pup has to be dog friendly. If I come to your house, it will be left as it was found. I will make sure to keep your dog comfortable and safe during during my visit.

About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. I have hands-on experience taking care of my grandmother's cat and dog since they were babies, where I helped with feeding, walking, cleaning and providing companionship. About: Hi! I’m a full time patient service representative at a PT office soon to be reattending school. I’m looking to make some extra money to help save up for school as well during school to keep me afloat. Most importantly meeting new dogs. I have loved dogs since I was little and I have one of my own. He’s a 3 yr old Rottweiler mix named Montu. Previously I had a small morkie mix who unfortunately passed a few years back. About: I grew up in a very dog friendly neighborhood, and owned/cared for a dog since I was in kindergarten. I am very passionate about animals and love going for walks-so dog sitting is the perfect position for me. I am taking a physics class at Georgetown University, so I am free after 1 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and after 12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I will be very gentle and loving, take the dogs for walks if their health permits, and play in the yard with them. I've administered medication, as we as oral meds. Your pet will be loved and safe with me. I am comfortable staying in the pets home. They are familiar with their surroundings and makes the separation easier for them. However many overnights you need. Not boarding at the moment. I prefer to stay at the Pet's home where they are more comfortable and feel they will be more at peace.
