Hi, I’m Cynthia! I’m a young professional whose love for animals runs deep. At any gathering, you can usually find this vegan in the corner hanging out with the host's dog. I started dog walking and sitting as a way to step away from my corporate tech job, stay active, and spend more time doing what I love. It’s the perfect antidote to screen time, and it brings me so much joy to connect with pups in my community. ------ For 12 wonderful years, I had my own best friend by my side, named Scooter. He navigated several medical issues, which taught me how to handle special needs with confidence and deep empathy. I like to think he’s always with me on my walks, and every dog I care for reminds me of that special bond. When I'm not walking dogs, I also volunteer my time at local animal shelters (shoutout to Bideawee! 🐾). ------ I believe every dog deserves personalized attention. Whether it’s nurturing a curious puppy on a safe, engaging walk or providing peaceful companionship at a slower pace for a senior dog, I tailor my approach to your dog’s unique personality and energy levels. ------ Because of my own dog's journey and care for multiple senior pets, I am highly experienced in senior pet care and always happy to accommodate specific medical routines. I have hands-on experience managing: - Insulin administration 💉: Comfortable with strict scheduling and monitoring for diabetic dogs - Pancreatitis 🥣: Familiar with strict dietary management and flare-up prevention - Cognitive Decline 🧠: Patient, gentle care and understanding for early-onset canine dementia - Sensory Impairments 👁️: Adept at navigating and comforting blind or deaf dogs ------ Above all, my connection with animals is heart-driven. Cynthia was amazing! She sent me updates throughout the day, pictures and videos. Ken has such a blast that now he waits by the car door before our walks in hopes to see and play with Cynthia again. It's clear to me that Cynthia truly loves what she does and that is reflected in how well she cared for Ken!

🕒 Work-Life Balance: Working from home gives me the flexibility to be around for your dog throughout the day, fitting walks and playtime easily into my routine. 📅 Weekend: Weekends are for adventure! When the weekend rolls around, I love getting outside whether that's hitting local hiking trails or hanging out at my local park (eg. Hempstead Lake Park, Malverne Dog Park)

🏠 Home Sweet Home: My home is a cozy apartment, which means your dog will be under my watchful, loving eye 24/7. Above all, my home is a haven of love and care, where pets are treated as cherished family members.

- Daily Exercise: I provide regular walks and playtime to keep your pup happy and healthy. If weather permitting, walks will be 3x-4x a day. - Feeding Routine: I will stick to your specified feeding schedule and food. I do not provide any of my personal human food unless approved. - Potty Breaks: Frequent opportunities to go outside. - Love and Attention: Lots of cuddles and playtime! With working from home, they will have 24/7 attention. - Safety First: Your dog's safety and well-being are top priorities. My space is secure and dog-friendly. For moments when I need to step out to run an errand, I have an indoor camera to keep an eye on. I do not leave any dog alone for more than communicated and approved. No walks will be provided under extreme heat or cold weather. - Updates: I will send you regular updates (photos and messages!) for peace of mind and can see how much fun your dog is having! I will always be in touch and respond in a timely manner.
