About: I have had a dog since I was 6 years old and been watching dogs since I moved to college! Families back in San Luis Obispo have relied on me to care of their pups for more than a week while they were out of town and take them on frequent walks. I have now been caring for dogs in NYC and have lots of experience raising puppies as well as administering medication to older dogs. I currently work full time as an engineer but have a lot of free time on the weekends to care for pups and much free time after work. I have a large open apartment with a beautiful grassy area at the bottom for the dogs to play and use the bathroom. I also have cared for dogs in other peoples homes and frequently take them on walks and make sure they use the potty.

About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. About: Ive had my own dog since i was little so i know to have patience and attentive. It was helpful the 2 years experience of pet sitting and walking dogs for other clients. I've clean litters, feed pets, stayed a little longer to play with them. I dont mind doing a wash and dry. I like to go out so it'll be mini trips in my car i can get a dog seat if they're small pets. i also make homemade meals optional completely healthy. I currently work a few days in amazon so i spend most of the time with my pet and would like to spend more time with dogs I have a back yard and my dog is friendly i can easily crate your pet and have a soft small stair case to my bed or sofa and water fountain and clean my home regularly

About: Over the course of my time I've taken care of and lived with goldfish, parakeets, a big old mutt, several great cats...and chickens. Considering that I grew up in Manhattan, I'd say that if that doesn't account for exeptional qualifications to love and care for our furry (or scaly, or feathered) friends, I'm not sure what could! I found Michelle on short notice when the weather was predicting thunder all day, and Ishby can be alone for a few hours but is scared of thunder. Michelle was easy to communicate with, understanding and trying to make things work for me as best she could even as the weather forecast was changing. When she came for the meet n greet, it was clear she has a way with dogs and Ishby got used to her quickly. She was in touch throughout the visit, took lots of pictures, fed Ishby as I asked her to, and I felt like my baby was in good hands. Grateful for Michelle's help!
