About: My name is Jonathan and I am currently 27 years old, working full-time as a dog sitter, and living in Great Neck, NY. A former software engineer that's pursuing UX/UI design and loves animals! I currently have a 5 year old golden retriever! I have always loved dogs as I grew up with a Maltese when I was in kindergarten before getting my golden. I'm also very good at training through positive reinforcement and handling medium to large breeds. I also have experience taking care of multiple dogs at the same time. Lastly, I can easily tell when dogs are in trouble or need to use the bathroom, etc. My schedule is extremely flexible so I can accommodate most requests! I wake up at 9am everyday to let my dog out for a morning potty break. We then go for a walk at noon, one at 6pm, and one more at 10pm before bed. I have a fenced in yard that is locked at all times. I will be present in the backyard anytime the dogs are there and will keep an eye on them while they play. I will be home 24/7 while your dog is with me, and will be monitored at all times.
About: I am a animal lover who has cared for many different animals over my lifetime. From a young age I have owned dogs, cats, birds, and many more! I enjoy being around animals and have taken care of pets both in home and while owners are away! I am a happy soul and would love to meet and care for your pet! I work full time in NYC in and can do walks in the afternoon lunch hour most weekdays. Weekends are always free for more walk and play time. Willing to adjust and accommodate with your schedule! Always willing to do the best care for your pet. If it’s walks outside, playtime inside and everything else, it would be a thrill for me to meet and care for your pet.

About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. I am also very trust worthy, organized, communicative, and extremely eager to work with you!

About: Hi! I’m an orthodontic assistant and part-time college student working toward becoming an orthodontist. I currently am trying to save up money to pay for dental school. I absolutely love animals, especially dogs and cats, and enjoy spending time with them and learning about their specific quirks and personalities. I’ve walked and cared for dogs before, including a friendly Goldendoodle, and I’m committed to making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Working with children every day has taught me to be patient, attentive, and dependable qualities I bring when caring for pets, too. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, cuddles, or someone to stick to their routine, I’ll treat them with the same care and kindness I would my own. In my free time, I also enjoy baking, and I truly love taking care of others, whether they’re people or pets! Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I’m used to balancing work, school, and responsibilities. I’m available on weekends, have a 7-hour break between classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and I’m free in the evenings after 5pm on Fridays. I enjoy spending my free time caring for animals, going on walks, and giving pets the attention and affection they need. I’m reliable, patient, and happy to work with owners to fit their pet’s routine. When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, medication (if needed), playtime, and any specific preferences their pet has. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while also respecting their space and home. My goal is to help pets feel safe and cared for while their owners are away

“Esperanza is A M A Z I N G. I had a last minute trip I had to take and she was able to accomodate me last minute. Her communication was amazing, always sent me pictures and texts during each visit. I will 100000% be using her for anything involving my 2 animals going forward!”

“Karlos has been a lifesaver! He’s consistent, reliable, and easy to communicate with. I appreciate how he took the time to really get to know Piper and her daily routine during the meet and greet. He asked thoughtful, relevant questions and made me feel really comfortable trusting him with her :) Karlos is also very considerate. He shares lots of photos of Piper which I truly appreciate! I’ve seen him walking my neighbors’ dogs as well and he seems to have a genuine connection with all the animals he works with. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for taking such good care of Piper!”

“Allison was fabulous! She took care of our senior dog, by dropping in twice a day to walk and feed him. She was very responsible and very gentle with him. I liked that I could touch base with her everyday. Allison exceeded our expectations and highly recommend her!”

About: I have owned both cats and big and small dogs and am experienced in training, raising, and taking care of all types of dogs in various states of health and ages. I love all animals! I work part time as I am applying to masters programs right now, so I will have plenty of time for dog walks and animal drop ins! I do not offer boarding or day care at my own house because of the multiple outdoor cats and other animals (like raccoons) in my neighborhood.

About: Hi, I'm Bri! I am 27 years old and a registered nurse (for humans). I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’m considering a career in animal care too! I adopted my first dog and rabbit when I was 9. Then, about 10 years ago, I fostered 2 dogs from a shelter and wound up adopting one of them. I have taken a lot of my neighbours and friends dogs on walks to the park and around the neighbourhood. I have a lot of experience with feeding, playing, cleaning, and walking dogs. Since I’m a nurse, I’m open to medical accommodations as well! Overall, any furbaby deserves eternal love! I'm up for discussion about availability and hours. Please feel free to ask me any questions about references or my services! I’m currently unemployed so my availability is very flexible. Since I have 2 pets of my own, an example of my usual pet routine consists of morning breakfast, walking the dog 3 times a day, playing with my cat throughout the day, and dinner. First things first, safety! I will always assess the well being of your fur baby. I am receptive to body language and when an animal may be feeling uncomfortable. Everyone, including our fur babies, deserves to have their own boundaries respected. This will ensure we are both having a great time (:

Samantha and Jerry were so amazing with my diabetic, blind dog that needs insulin 2 times a day, hoping She would adjust and that she did , with them. Samantha and Jerry was so kind and gentle and she adjusted so quickly to them.. I got the most amazing pictures everyday from Jerry and daily updates. I came home to a very happy and healthy little girl. So happy I found them, will definitely feel comfortable everytime we need to go anywhere and they carefor my dog.. 10 out of 10.

I found Michelle on short notice when the weather was predicting thunder all day, and Ishby can be alone for a few hours but is scared of thunder. Michelle was easy to communicate with, understanding and trying to make things work for me as best she could even as the weather forecast was changing. When she came for the meet n greet, it was clear she has a way with dogs and Ishby got used to her quickly. She was in touch throughout the visit, took lots of pictures, fed Ishby as I asked her to, and I felt like my baby was in good hands. Grateful for Michelle's help!
