I grew up with a gentle Labrador who will always hold a special place in my heart, and I now have a spirited 6-month-old Miniature Pinscher mix rescue who keeps me on my toes and fills my days with joy. About: I'm a retired New York City public school educator of 33 years. I've been around pets all my life. I've been a pet owner since 2016 and pets literally save lives! Right now I'm retired and I literally can come and go as I please.I do have an official part-time position, but I am not on the schedule every day. I have a fenced in yard. I have screens on my windows. I have cat toys and pet beds everywhere. Stainless steel water fountains, a very dog friendly canine. King Charles cavalier very mild-mannered. I have one adult cat and 2 kittens.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. Then I got my first cat in 2016 and have been taking care of her for 10 years. I play and walk my dog daily and play with my cat to enhance her life and health. I currently work from home as a streamer who makes her own schedule! Willing and able to work with any possible schedule changes that arises. I live in a gated community where they don't allow fencing, but I have a sizable backyard for dogs to enjoy and a safe community to walk in. I keep my cat indoors where she has stimulating toys and a thriving environment.

About: Ive always been the go to in my neighborhood to pet sitter. I truly love all animals and cant think of a better job than to care for them. I currently only work on the weekends so Monday to Friday I am available all day. I am very flexible as well with my time. You can guarantee that by leaving your pet with me they wont feel unloved for even a second. I believe animals can do no wrong and are beings of unconditional love to give.

About: I like to joke that I was “raised by Rottweilers,” because at three months old my parents delivered a litter of rottie pups. We always had rotties growing up until we got into rescuing mastiffs. I’ve been involved in rescue work since I was very young, and caring for animals is just second nature to me. My 7-year-old special-needs pup, Blake, is my heart. He’s been with me since I rescued him as a tiny puppy off the streets of Puerto Rico. More recently, we welcomed Jet, a bouncy heeler mix who keeps us all on our toes with his endless energy! Seeing Blake and Jet as my fur babies means I understand firsthand the patience and attention it takes to care for dogs with very different needs. Anything from managing medical routines to channeling playful energy - I have it covered. I treat every pet like family, because that’s exactly what they are to me. I work full-time from home, so my schedule is very flexible. My dogs get a quick morning walk around Powderhorn, followed by regular potty breaks in the yard and a longer hour+ walk/hike after 3pm. I live in a townhouse community with an unfenced yard that is great for playing fetch and running. Otherwise, as most Jackson locals, I am often on the local trails, or the Snake River Levee, making sure animals in my care get plenty of exercise and socialization!

About: I currently own a 15 year old havanese girl and look after her daily whenever my parents are at work during the week. I also have walked/watched neighborhood dogs in the past and will never pass up the opportunity to watch a dog no matter the breed! (although my favorite is dachshunds) I currently caddie on the weekends, so anytime during the week is perfect for me. I am free anytime during the week for the most part, availability on weekends can vary. My house is empty during the day during the week, it’s just me and my havanese who's super friendly. My mom comes home in the afternoon along with my sister. Dogs are allowed on furniture and I have multiple dog beds they can chill out and nap on if tired. In terms of sitting in a client’s home, I keep my regimen the same as my own home, respecting whatever rules my client communicates to me.

About: I am a med student student who loves animals. I have been dog-sitting since I was a freshman in high school. I started off caring for an elderly dog who had a difficult time walking. I have also worked with a dog who had a limp due to an injured leg and needed to be given medication on time. With each time I sit, I give a summary at the end so that you can also know what your furry friend has been up to. Along with all the dogs I have worked with I also own an adopted dog. My family and I adopted him in my sophomore year of high school. He has taught me to be very patient and aware of his needs. I enjoy baking peanut butter cookies to feed him and have baked them for other clients. I am a great sitter because I will care for your dog as if it is my own. I will attend to his or her every need along with baking him/her treats. Something I can provide that others may not be able to provide is long walks along the National Mall. I am a dancer and enjoy going for runs. If a dog is able to, I would love to go for a run with him or her. I am a good sitter because I provide care that exceeds one's expectations. I have school for 2 hours on most days. Therefore pet care fits into my schedule easily. I enjoy going on walks which provide the perfect exercise for dogs. I also like baking and I tend to bake treats for my pets. I don't have a fence, however, I am at my desk when I am working. So I will be able to provide constant company to your pet. I love to go on walks and will take the pet as often as they need. I do not have my own yard, however, I do have a small fenced-in area I can take the dog for play time.

About: Hi, I'm Bridget! Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier and have spent years caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. In December 2019, I adopted my senior rescue dog, Abbott, a Chihuahua mix who quickly became my best friend and constant companion. She passed away in March 2026, and caring for her through her senior years taught me so much about patience, compassion, and attentive pet care. I currently have a 2-year-old rescue pup named Clover, who is incredibly sweet and keeps me smiling every day. I'm a licensed therapist by profession, which means I bring patience, reliability, strong communication skills, and a calm presence to every interaction—both with pets and their humans. My husband and I recently moved to Long Island for his medical residency, but I'm not new to Rover. I've been dog walking and pet sitting through Rover for years while living in Washington, DC and Philadelphia, and I've loved building relationships with pets and their families along the way. About: I have taken care of dogs for 15 years. From puppies to seniors, Dachshunds to Pitties. I’ve owned my pit for 15 years and I adore him with my life. I have dog sat for a whole week even commuting to and from work to make sure their pup was safe and healthy. About: I have years of experience caring for animals of all sizes. I owned a Husky for 2 years, so I am very comfortable with high-energy pets, but I enjoy walking dogs of every breed. My background working with horses has taught me patience and how to keep every animal safe and calm. I am a very serious and punctual person who lives locally in Floral Park I have a very flexible schedule and I am available throughout the week. Since I am used to early mornings, I can accommodate walks or visits as early as 6:00 AM. I am dedicated to pet care full-time right now, which means your pet will be my top priority and I can easily adjust to the times that work best for you and your dog's routine. Safety is my number one priority. When I am in a client's home, I make sure the environment is secure before and after the visit. My experience with large animals has taught me to always be aware of my surroundings and the pet's behavior. I am very respectful of your space, I always double-check locks and gates, and I make sure your pet is calm and has fresh water before I leave.

About: I have owned both cats and big and small dogs and am experienced in training, raising, and taking care of all types of dogs in various states of health and ages. I love all animals! I work part time as I am applying to masters programs right now, so I will have plenty of time for dog walks and animal drop ins! I do not offer boarding or day care at my own house because of the multiple outdoor cats and other animals (like raccoons) in my neighborhood.

About: I have had over 7 years of experience taking care of my own dogs, as well as dog-sitting/walking for family and friends, so I decided to take my skills and passion for dogs to Rover. I have also recently fostered and trained a one year old (and 80 pound untrained) foster puppy at college this past year! I am such an attentive, responsive, and caring dog lover and will always adapt to owners’ requests! This summer I will be freshly graduated from college, waiting to start my full time job in August, so my schedule is completely free and I am available to take care of your pups round the clock!!! I have a couple weekend trips planned here and there but my summer schedule is otherwise wide open! I am super respectful of the property and privacy of other’s I have dog and cat set for numerous friends and family before and will always leave your space cleaner than I left it!
