About: 💠 Hello! I offer pet care for when you’re not able to be there. I am available for drop-in visits, pet sitting, pet daycare, and also pet walking (even for cats!). 🚙 I currently provide pet care services for most of the Nassau County area and some parts of Nassau-Queens border. I am also able to travel to Manhattan with added transportation coverage. I am local: Repeat services booked with me receive special accommodations & rates. * Messages that are sent after hours on Rover may be responded to on the following day. 🔹 I’m experienced with small breeds, or toy breeds, specifically Pomeranians, been around them all my life, including newborns and senior dogs who were raised starting as puppies. I also have some experience with French Bulldogs. 🔹 Experienced with docile cat breeds, in particular Persian, Himalayan, Ragdoll, Maine Coon and other related cat breeds. 🔹 Have experience with Goldfish, Bettas and birds such as Budgies, so knowledgeable about care. 🐾 I’m intuitive and pay attention to picking up the different ways a dog or cat expresses nonverbal communication, they constantly give us cues. About Me: I own a color-point Persian cat who is 7 years old that I enjoy spoiling. I can speak Italian, enjoy gardening, art, sewing, yoga, tennis & pilates. I’m a fan of the original Twilight movie directed by Catherine Hardwicke. 🐾 I’m currently providing pet care for a King Charles Cavalier who has mobility issues and dietary restrictions, but he is such a big mush! I am also caring for a special needs 4 month old kitten who needs to be syringe-fed, given both topical & oral medication on schedule, along with helping her with using a litter box. In addition to assisting with care of a (palm-sized) rescue kitten who is less than one month old needing to be bottle fed every few hours, given antibiotic medication for her eyes and frequent cleaning with wet wipes, due to being too young to know how to use a litter box. I have found it to be extremely rewarding and willing to look after a few more furbabies within my local area. 🔹 I’m trustworthy and reliable, I would always practice good manners. Respectful of privacy when I’m in a client’s home. I make sure that when I’m with your pet, safety is an upmost priority.
“Lu and his family took great care of our dog. This is the first boarding experience for our dog, who gets nervous when she is away from home. Lu was great with updates and lots of pictures. Their own dog and daughter were attentive and made our Beau feel right at home. They were also very generous with whatever Beau needed. I highly recommend Lu and his family and feel good that we found someone to take care of Beau next time we need boarding.”

“My dogs have stayed with Jenny a few times and they are always in good hands. This most recent stay we were late picking them up and she was very gracious and understanding about it.”

“If you want your pup to feel like they're at a home away from home - book with Tina. She and her family (two young children who will entertain your dog endlessly) will provide a loving environment with lots of play and attention. I boarded my 7 year old pit mix for several days and he felt right at home immediately. Tina was great sharing photos and videos of Lincoln playing in the fenced in back and taking lots of walks (I think he thought twice about coming back home :)). So happy I found her.”

“This was Miles’ first stay with Britany. From the time he was dropped off, I felt very comfortable. Britany was warm and inviting. She sent updates throughout the visit, which was very reassuring. Miles adjusted well and was his usual playful self. Thanks, Britany! Highly recommend!”

“Erica is incredibly attentive, responsible, and caring. I could tell that my furry friends were in good hands right from the start. She went above and beyond to ensure my dogs comfort and happiness throughout their stay. We have use Erica many times and will continue to use her services. We highly recommend her.”

“Katsumi is phenomenal. She and her family cared for our mini golden doodle so intentionally. She was wonderful and stayed in touch, sharing pictures throughout the weekend. She is caring and very experienced in watching dogs. We will definitely rely on her again.”

“I was terribly nervous as this was the first time I left my dog with anyone, but from start to finish Victoria and her family made me feel so comfortable. She took great care of our dog, kept us updated, and promptly responded to our questions. Our boy was sooo happy during. “Anthony!! Thank you, thank you, thank you.. so much taking care of my baby! I was so worried prior to my trip as I was not able to find a sitter and then I saw your profile on the last day before my flight and I am so happy I did. You and your family did an amazing job in taking care of Marley. And I am happy he found a new friend…Bentley! You sent me videos and pics daily and that gave me peace of mind that Marley was safe and having an amazing time. I will be booking again. Again, thank you! !”

“Wenxu and her husband are awesome sitters. They are very communicative, sent a lot of good pictures, flexible, and created a great environment for our dog. Would 100% recommend them!”

“We can’t even begin to describe how this experience was !! This was a last minute vacation, before I returned to work after being out for the past month , and our regular sitter was unavailable. We could have separated our three dogs to get by , but I just couldn’t truly breathe unless they stayed together for the week. I was ready to post pone our trip when I reached out to a few people on Rover . There was something about Pam’s personality that just struck us the photos the honesty and love and pure generosity that we literally felt just by reading her profile! Once she replied to my first inquiry I said omg she is real lol !!! It was a match made in heaven for us and our family . Pam and Jose and Toby are the real deal ! Pam I’m going to start crying again, writing this !! Pam is so gentle and kind hearted and Beautiful inside and out . We picked up our dogs Sunday afternoon and I swear they were missing Pam and Jose and Toby !!! Oh and I don’t want to forget about the PICTURES AND VIDEOS we had every day !!!!! My senior dog Paco ran out of meds and Pam called the vet and picked up a refill !!!!! Pam thank. You for everything and allowing us to be able to go on ten cruise with 100 % satisfaction! We love you guys and can’t wait to see you guys again”

“An AMAZING sitter. He is quickly becoming family. My dog LEAPS out of the car as soon as he sees him. I feel great going away knowing that my baby is being well taken care of. He is responsive and communicates often.”

“It's our second time to have Sandy taking care of Hido. She made a road trip with Hido to Long Island during 4th of July holiday and so Hido could avoid fireworks and also had a great time away from city! Sandy gives us a worry-free vacation and so wee highly recommend her!”

“Aritra was fantastic! He was attentive communicative and when I picked up my boy from staying with him my dog couldn’t be happier and well cared for will definitely be using in the future”

“I adopted a dog last month and had to take an emergency trip for work and was worried what to do- I was lucky enough to come across Vanessa’s profile and after a meetup, decided to leave my new pup with her. The entire process from meeting Vanessa and her family to picking up Rio was flawless- the fact Rio shared a home with a home with a family vs being boarded was immense and the constant contact and updates kept me at ease. I now feel so much more comfortable when I need to travel knowing she can stay here and have an absolute blast in a family setting with a huge backyard for the dogs to play in.”

“AMAZING! Took care of my wonderful puppy, even taught him how to stop scratching people for food. Consistently sent photos and if I ever have to board again I know who's my number 1 pick!”

This was our first time using Britnay as a Dog Sitter for my two dogs. We left them with her for four nights. She kept us constantly updated with phone calls, text messages and multiple pictures throughout the time which was very much appreciated! Our older dog is very finicky and has a lot of behavioral issues and she handled him like a pro. Got him to eat and take his meds, even cleaned his face which we had not been able to do. She is totally responsible, attentive, and available whenever we needed her! We will definitely be back!
Marcelona was so kind, patient, and thoughtful with my German Shepherd — and that’s saying a lot because he’s full of fur and personality! From the very first message, her communication was fantastic. She kept me updated with pictures, little notes, and videos that showed how happy and relaxed he was the whole time. It’s so clear how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. She treated him like her own, and he absolutely adored her. Coming home, he was happy, calm, and clearly well-loved. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Thank you for giving me total peace of mind and taking such wonderful care of my boy. We’ll definitely be booking again! 🐾💛

I have never left my pup with a non-family member before and all I can say is - I am so happy that we found Jack! From the very first meet and greet and throughout the stay, Jack was communicative and kind. He sent me plenty of updates which helped ease any nervousness I had. My pup was also struggling with sensitive paws and Jack kept an eye on it and gave me some tips. Thanks again to Jack. My pup had such a great time staying with him!
