What truly sets me apart is my lifelong, hands-on experience as a devoted pet parent — especially with senior dogs and emotionally sensitive pets. I cared for my beloved senior dog Rocki for 14 years, supporting him through every stage of life, including the extra patience, gentleness, and attentiveness senior dogs need. Today, I share my life with my dog River and also help care for my partner’s 16-year-old senior dog, so I am very comfortable with senior care, slower mobility, routine-based needs, and gentle handling. I’m highly attentive to body language, emotional comfort, and stress signals, which helps me support anxious, sensitive, or aging dogs in a calm and reassuring way. My home provides a safe, structured, and loving environment where dogs can feel secure and relaxed. I’m also patient and consistent with younger dogs, helping reinforce routines, calm behavior, and positive habits through gentle guidance and structure. Every dog in my care is treated like family with safety, emotional awareness, patience, and genuine love.

This was our second time having Vee and Steve watch Uno as they make you feel so comfortable with leaving your pup in their care. We highly recommend anyone that needs puppy care!
This was our first time using Rover and we were pretty nervous about leaving our 4 year old Yorkie mix, Wally, with anybody that was not family or friend. However, I felt at ease starting with the first meet and greet. Von Marie took the time to meet me and Wally for a walk at a nearby park. And she asked a lot of good questions to get to know Wally. This made us feel that Von Marie and Steven would be a great fit. During the week that Wally was with them, we received regular updates and questions to help care for Wally better. Wally had a few sleepless nights adjusting in the beginning, but Von Marie and Steven kept making adjustments and Wally ended up sleeping well and having a great time. He is back home now and more chill and sweet than he ever was. We credit this to the incredible care he received. Our family has joked that we should send Wally to Von Marie and Steven’s doggie camp more often! We are so happy to know that Wally has a wonderful place to go when we need to doggie care (camp) in the future.
Von Marie and Steven are the absolute best! We left our sweet dogs with them. Sophie is 14 years old and Luna is 1 years old. They are both Bichon Frises. They treated Sophie and Luna like family. They sent daily photos and updates which we loved. We will definitely use them again!
Vee and Steven are the best! After reading their profile we reached out and Vee met us for a meet and greet. We felt comfortable right away and felt they would be a great fit to watch our dog Uno for a week and they exceeded our expectations! She gave us a detailed updates twice a day with pictures and videos and we can tell Uno was well loved in their house. Uno came back as if he never left our watch! We would highly recommend Vee and Steven and look forward to using them again in the future.

We had a great experience with Von Marie & Steven. Before Leia’s stay, they came over with their dog, River, so the dogs could meet and make sure everyone got along. I really appreciated them taking the time to do that. While we were away, they sent plenty of photos and updates, so we always knew how Leia was doing. They were easy to communicate with, reliable, and we felt completely comfortable leaving Leia in their care. We’d happily book with them again and definitely recommend them.

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I structure my days around consistent walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and calm rest periods for my own dog, River, as well as my partner’s senior dog. Because caring for animals is already part of my everyday routine, I’m able to provide dependable, attentive, and structured care for pets staying with me. I prioritize supervision, emotional comfort, and routine so every dog feels safe, relaxed, and cared for throughout the day.

I follow each dog’s normal routine closely, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of rest and comfort. I pay close attention to body language, emotional needs, and stress signals to ensure every dog feels secure and relaxed. My home includes a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, cozy indoor rest areas, and close supervision throughout the day. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their pet’s established routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I provide gentle, attentive care, ensure safety, and send regular updates with photos so pet parents always feel reassured while they’re away.

I tailor activities to each dog’s personality, age, and energy level so they feel happy, comfortable, and fulfilled. For active dogs, we enjoy structured walks, backyard playtime, light games, and safe outdoor exploration. For calmer or senior dogs, I provide gentle strolls, relaxed sunbathing on the balcony, cozy cuddle time, and peaceful companionship. Throughout the day, I include enrichment like supervised play, sniff time, and emotional reassurance so every dog feels secure and mentally stimulated. My goal is for each pup to feel safe, happy, loved, and right at home while they’re with me.
