About: 💠 Hello! I offer pet care for when you’re not able to be there. I am available for drop-in visits, pet sitting, pet daycare, and also pet walking (even for cats!). 🚙 I currently provide pet care services for most of the Nassau County area and some parts of Nassau-Queens border. I am also able to travel to Manhattan with added transportation coverage. I am local: Repeat services booked with me receive special accommodations & rates. 🌃 Messages that are sent after hours on Rover may be responded to on the following day. 🔹 I’m experienced with small breeds, or toy breeds, specifically Pomeranians, been around them all my life, including newborns and senior dogs who were raised starting as puppies. 🔹 Experienced with docile cat breeds, in particular Persian, Himalayan, Ragdoll, Maine Coon and other related cat breeds. 🔹 Have experience with Goldfish, Bettas and birds such as Budgies, so knowledgeable about care. 🐾 I’m intuitive and pay attention to picking up the different ways a dog or cat expresses nonverbal communication, they constantly give us cues. About Me: I own a color-point Persian cat who is 7 years old that I enjoy spoiling. I can speak Italian, enjoy gardening, art, sewing, yoga, tennis & pilates. I’m a fan of the original Twilight movie directed by Catherine Hardwicke. 🐾 I’m currently providing pet care for a King Charles Cavalier who has mobility issues and dietary restrictions, but he is such a big mush! I am also caring for a special needs 4 month old kitten who needs to be syringe-fed, given both topical & oral medication on schedule, along with helping her with using a litter box. In addition to assisting with care of a (palm-sized) rescue kitten who is less than one month old needing to be bottle fed every few hours, given antibiotic medication for her eyes and frequent cleaning with wet wipes, due to being too young to know how to use a litter box. I have found it to be extremely rewarding and willing to look after a few more furbabies within my local area. 🔹 I’m trustworthy and reliable, I would always practice good manners. Respectful of privacy when I’m in a client’s home. I make sure that when I’m with your pet, safety is an upmost priority.

About: I am a med student student who loves animals. I have been dog-sitting since I was a freshman in high school. I started off caring for an elderly dog who had a difficult time walking. I have also worked with a dog who had a limp due to an injured leg and needed to be given medication on time. With each time I sit, I give a summary at the end so that you can also know what your furry friend has been up to. Along with all the dogs I have worked with I also own an adopted dog. My family and I adopted him in my sophomore year of high school. He has taught me to be very patient and aware of his needs. I enjoy baking peanut butter cookies to feed him and have baked them for other clients. I am a great sitter because I will care for your dog as if it is my own. I will attend to his or her every need along with baking him/her treats. Something I can provide that others may not be able to provide is long walks along the National Mall. I am a dancer and enjoy going for runs. If a dog is able to, I would love to go for a run with him or her. I am a good sitter because I provide care that exceeds one's expectations. I have school for 2 hours on most days. Therefore pet care fits into my schedule easily. I enjoy going on walks which provide the perfect exercise for dogs. I also like baking and I tend to bake treats for my pets. I don't have a fence, however, I am at my desk when I am working. So I will be able to provide constant company to your pet. I love to go on walks and will take the pet as often as they need. I do not have my own yard, however, I do have a small fenced-in area I can take the dog for play time.

About: Hi I'm Nicole! I’ve been dog-sitting for over 4 years for family, friends, and neighbors, caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m responsible, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals, whether that means feeding, walking, playing, or just keeping them company! I make sure each pet feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. I’m a college student, so I’m home during breaks (including holidays) and for about four months in the summer. I also come home frequently on weekends during the school year. In the summer, I’m available any time of the week and have a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to give your dog plenty of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day. I have a large yard where dogs can play and get plenty of exercise, and I always make sure to supervise them while they’re outside. My home is a spacious two-story house where dogs are free to roam and feel comfortable. I treat every dog like my own and many have even slept in my bed! I also have experience adjusting to each dog’s needs, whether that means crating them, sticking to a routine, or giving them extra attention and care.

The retractable leash I provided broke on one of her walks and without hesitation she went out to get another leash for future walks. My flight coming back was delayed and she stayed up late for me to arrive to pick up. She checked in everyday with updates and photos on how things were going. Anna was super tentative and detail oriented with my pets routine and needs. She made the experience for myself and my pet very comforting and assuring throughout the duration of the stay. If you're looking for a genuinely good hearted and trustworthy sitter then Anna is for you. I would recommend her to anybody.”
