I am a family-based home, and pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Because I only accept one dog at a time, I am able to fully integrate your furry baby into my home life and provide consistent attention throughout the day. My schedule is structured around being at home. This allows for regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding on schedule, and plenty of supervision and companionship. Dogs in my care will not be left alone for long periods of time ever. If I do need to step out briefly, it is typically for very short errands, and I ensure dogs are safe, comfortable, and settled before leaving. My home environment is predictable, which helps dogs adjust quickly and feel secure. I treat each dog as part of my daily rhythm—whether that’s quiet time, walks, or simply relaxing with the family.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my top priority when caring for pets in my home. I provide a calm, structured, and family-oriented environment where your dog is closely supervised and treated as part of my family daily routine. Because I only accept one dog at a time, I am able to give full attention to your furry baby and closely monitor their behavior, comfort level, and needs throughout their stay. This also allows me to maintain a low-stress environment without overcrowding or unfamiliar animal interactions. Your dog is always kept in safe, comfortable areas of the home and is never left unsupervised with children. All interactions are closely monitored to ensure both the dog and our family are safe and comfortable. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medication instructions, and any behavioral notes. I always ensure fresh water is available, regular potty breaks are provided, and exercise is appropriate for the dog’s age and energy level. When outside, your dog is kept on leash unless in a secure, enclosed area. I never take risks with off-leash exposure or unsafe environments. I also maintain open communication with owners at all times and provide regular photos and updates. *** Safety & and a premium experience are extremely important. I accept only well-socialized, friendly dogs who are comfortable in a home environment with children.

Information Lorena V. would like to know about your pet
Before every stay, I’d love to learn as much as possible about your dog so I can provide the best care and help them feel comfortable in our home. Please let me know about your dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, sleeping arrangements, and any medical needs or medications. I’d also appreciate knowing about their personality, energy level, and how they respond to new people, children, visitors, or being left alone. For the safety of everyone in our home, it’s important that you share any history of anxiety, resource guarding, reactivity, escape tendencies, excessive barking, or aggression. Honest communication helps ensure that your dog has a positive experience and allows me to determine if we’re the right fit. Because we are a family with young children and care for only one dog at a time, we ask that dogs be friendly, well-socialized, and comfortable in a home environment with children. I also recommend a meet-and-greet before the first stay so we can get to know each other and make sure everyone feels comfortable.
A typical day
Every dog is different, so I tailor the day to match their personality, energy level, and the routine they follow at home. My goal is to make their stay feel as familiar and comfortable as possible. A typical day includes morning potty breaks, a walk, breakfast, and plenty of time to relax and explore the home. Throughout the day, we’ll enjoy supervised playtime, enrichment activities, affection, and additional walks or outdoor time based on your dog’s needs and energy level. Because I only care for one dog at a time, your pet receives individualized attention and doesn’t have to compete with other dogs for care or affection. Whether your dog enjoys playing fetch, going for leisurely walks, cuddling on the couch, or simply relaxing nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and engaged. I’ll follow your dog’s normal feeding schedule, provide fresh water at all times, and stick as closely as possible to the routines they’re used to at home. You’ll also receive regular photo and message updates so you can see your dog’s adventures and know they’re happy and well cared for throughout their stay. My goal is to create a home-away-from-home experience where your dog feels safe, relaxed, and cared for as if they were my own.

🏡 Loving Family Dog Care
Pet care experience
I’ve loved dogs for most of my life. I grew up with a family dog beginning at age 10, and I most recently cared for my own pet Lucy until 2023. These experiences taught me the importance of daily care, consistency, patience, and creating a loving routine where dogs feel safe and comfortable. What sets me apart is that I provide a calm, family-oriented home and take care of only ONE dog at a time. This allows me to give each dog my full attention, maintain their routine closely, and ensure a low-stress environment without the overwhelm of multiple pets. As a parent, I am organized, dependable, and very attentive to safety and structure. I understand how important it is to follow instructions exactly—from feeding schedules and walks to medications and comfort routines. I treat every dog as part of my family while they are in my care, and I provide regular photo and message updates so owners feel connected and reassured while away. My goal is to offer the same level of care and peace of mind that I would want for my own dog.
Reviews
I highly recommend Lorena as a dog sitter! She is responsible, professional, and caring! As a lovely mom to three sweet young kids, she is patient, nurturing, and involved. I would trust her with my dog without hesitation, and I know any pet in her care will be loved and well cared for.
